I was there for a talk about the history of the building. It was in the hall where it use to be a court house. It was informative and great history but, I felt some of the speakers were repeating themselves.
My homeschool group was led by a docent through the exhibits. I highly recommend this option. There is a lot of information and I believe it would be really dry to go through it all on your own. Our docent was full of humor and shared tons of extra knowledge based on his personal experiences around the county. The only negative is the Holocaust exhibit was very underwhelming.
I went today to see this historical place and the man who works there was so nice and gave me the whole history of the place and its importance. The nice man is Gene. He was great 👍👍👍
Very nice people running the place. A lot of beautiful things to see, just don't buy books that are $80 from the gift shop!

What a wonderful compilation of the history of the West Palm Beach area. A must for anyone visiting and would like to learn about how it all started. The Docent is very knowledgeable if you have any questions. I would highly recommend this museum.
Stopped by with my ten month old and our stroller. Fabulous exhibits and great way to spend 30 minutes out of the sunshine. There is an accessible entrance with elevator on east side of building. The staff were super informative and friendly. Thank you!
Love the historical displays and photographs and love that it is in the restored 1916 Courthouse. The building is beautiful neo-classical architecture with Roman columns. Wonderful way to learn the history of Palm Beach County!!
