Stayed at the resort this past Saturday night. Room was clean and tidy and fairly quiet. Ate in the restaurant, which was pretty good but the waiter didn't keep my water glass full and I had to walk over to the bartender and ask for more water. Played a few slots and blackjack and walked away with an extra $200. Gage at the cashier counter wasn't too enthused to be working and not very friendly. Other than those couple issues, was a nice weekend getaway.

We stayed here because everything in Sault Ste Marie, except the Super 8 was booked up, so we thought we'd try this. Big mistake! We should have just gone with the Super 8. The room was super outdated & dingy. The bedspread was so grey it looked like it hadn't been washed in who knows how long - or maybe it had been washed, but was super old. In either case, it was more grey at the top where people would have been pulling it up at night. Really gross. Everything was just run down.
I guess it could be a pretty setting in the summer, right out on the bay, but it's not convenient to anything, so you're pretty much stuck eating there & the food is not good, nor is there a good selection.

Beautiful week 80+ degrees. All the lawn furniture was gone if they had any. Great fire pit but also no where to sit. Room was nice and comfortable. Dining was also good with a nice staff.

The casino was small. No smoking allowed but there's a smoking lounge. The slots have phone charging stations and USB ports. That was neat to see. The restaurant had amazing service and phenomenal food (so don't let the prices steer you away). The fettuccine Alfredo was by far the best we ever had!!

Overall, very friendly staff in the complex. Free drinks while you gamble and the staff did a great job going around getting drinks frequently enough. Also if you earn 300 points in one day before 11:59 pm, you can get a free room coupon from a kiosk.

The hotel rooms were very spacious, had a dorm sized refrigerator, microwave, alot of pillows, and the beds were very comfortable.

The Back Bay Grill & Games had very good pizza. We ordered for pickup. The wait to get a table was between 40-60 minutes (Labor Day evening).

Would definitely go back if it wasn't so far from Green Bay (approx 4 hrs 45 minutes).

FREE DRINKS WHILE YOU PLAY! AND, ALL NON-SMOKING (except an enclosed room for those who don't want to go outside). We played here 3 nights in a row and won or broke even every night. Be sure to walk through the hotel/restaurant area to the "old" casino that has more games. The two restaurants are decent. HUGE portions at both.

Not too much good to say other than the golf course across the street was a beautiful wedding venue - we had a great time there.

From the time we checked into the hotel the staff were very rude and unwelcoming. At 7:30am on a Saturday - about 3pm there was loud construction noises in the roof above our room due to re-roofing. We were not told about this before and the staff were very unhelpful and unapologetic when we went to discuss it with them.

Our room was very outdated and the food at Saceys was ‘ok’ at best. It also took over 45min for it to come.

I would expect more from a hotel that is over $200USD/night.

The rooms advertised on the website are not what we stayed in. Our room was quite outdated. When we spoke to the front desk, they said some were updated and they were advertised to bring people in (it worked) but was wrong. They also said that the cost was the same for the new rooms, which is great for those who were able to enjoy them, but not for us, who had the old, outdated rooms.

They were fine for a room to sleep in, but nothing spectacular or fancy. I also wish you were able to come back in the side exit doors. I went out to look at the bay a few times and had to walk all the way around to come back in.

The staff did not tell us about free drinks, so there are free drinks when gambling!
