I reserved a week's stay here for the end of August back on June 2nd. I emailed them on 8/15 to say that I needed to change my reservation from 7 nights down to 6 and wanted to make sure that was ok. After 2 days I didn't get an email back to I called and left a message. Still no response so I emailed again the next day and still never heard back. We were afraid to travel 3 hours from the Seattle area to here without knowing if we truly had a reservation/a place to stay so we cancelled our plans and were able to make a last minute booking somewhere else. We are full time RVers so we needed a place to stay. Anyway, just really disappointed with the lack of communication

Had a great stay over Labor Day Weekend tent camping. We arrived Sat at 11am over the holiday weekend and got the last tent site. Great location close to Northern Cascades national park and is a fantastic option when the park campgrounds are fully booked. Dedicated tent sites were decently spaced apart, had a wood fire ring, and a picnic table. The hot showers were the best after hiking all day!! Note that their deposit system via their website does not actually reserve you a spot, so would not recommend paying before you arrive. Once the dedicated tent sites are claimed, it becomes a free for all in the open field.

Extremely friendly staff. Got a site near owner's house. Improvised site with electricity and water. Did not have a site when arrived but in a matter of an hour we got the best site. We got free wood, nice view, great guests around, and a peaceful place to enjoy WA. There are some long term campers, free ice, laundry room and very close access to North Cascades. While was hard at first, the rest of 3 days were uneventful, just enjoy the cascades. For some folks it could be considered a trashy place, if you are patience and have a good heart, you will be having a great stay.

I really hate to leave a bad review -- but we stayed here last weekend and had an awful experience. We emailed to reserve a tent site from 09/02-09/05 because we were arriving around 8:30pm and didn't want to risk a first-come-first-serve campground. Kevin Isdell with Alpine RV emailed back "we reserved you a tent site for your visit you may pay on arrival and are all set." When we got there on 09/02 we were told that the campground was extremely overbooked so there weren't any tent sites available but we could use an RV site. We were also told that this overbooking was typical for this campground. They told us to check out the area before charging us because there were no refunds available. We weren't happy to be between a huge RV with a generator running and a second RV with flood lights on, but it was dark and we didn't really have another option so we decided to stay for one night. To make it worse, a few hours after we got settled, an RV arrived and backed into our site and plugged into the power source. So not only did we lose our reservation, but we were literally sharing the RV site with other campers. It was like if you booked a hotel room and ended up having to share it with strangers? Honestly we would've been just as good sleeping in our car at a Walmart. I definitely wont stay here again. But the staff was really friendly and the facilities were okay - so they get two stars for that I suppose

Gets the job done! We had a very nice stay here after striking out in all the first come, first serve sights in the National Park during Labor Day weekend. I'm not sure if it was the manager or the owner, but a fella with long, white hair and his wife were helping us. Very friendly folks. Our fire pit was actually filled with enough wood for a fire, and the gentleman even said if we needed another piece or two to let him know. They also have someone that sells wood for a good prices next door. This is not an RV resort- no frills kind of place, but that is reflected in the prices. We paid $40/night which is a great price anywhere, but ESPECIALLY for Washington. You couldn't ask for a better location if you're wanting something around the NP. There's a general store, a few restaurants, and a drive-thru coffee shack all within 5 mins. The NP is 15/20 mins away from the RV park. I will warn you, our spot was pretty dirty- as in, actual dirt. Not so much where you would park your RV, but around our table and fire pit, there were some mounds of dirt that would easily get kicked up. That may very well may have just been our site or a few close to ours. They do have WiFi, but it didn't work at all for us. Not a big issue for us personally, but just a forewarning if it is for whomever reads this. Sites and showers/bathrooms are older, but clean. Park has nice surrounding scenery, and they also offer complimentary ice. They do daily, weekly, and monthly rates.

Worst experience with RV campground in USA and Canada ever. Booked and paid for two nights, on our return on 2nd day site was occupied , evidently double-booked. Owner just insistet we would have arrived one day earlier and already stayed two nights - incredible! - and was not willing to argue about not even after being shown credit Card booking with date and receipt. Furthermore the whole location is rundown (dirty toilets, showers partly out of order...) and not clean. We cannot recommend to stay here though it is well situated near North Cascade NP

Nice place. Good amenities, fair prices, well kept sights, and friendly management. Great view and afternoon shade that keeps it cool at night. Nice and quiet compared to other parks in the area. Camping spots available as well. Usually have open spots for both but I recommend calling ahead just in case. Close to dining and supplies in the local town of Marblemount also close to public River access and hiking trails. Not too kid friendly in my opinion if you're looking for that but if not I highly recommend checking it out.

We were tent camping here during a stretch of rainy days and were super happy with the huge trees that covered the sites. The laundry room, hot showers, and clean bathrooms were great especially right next to the park! The ice machine which was free to guests was a super nice perk for us since we’re traveling with a cooler.
The owner came out and chatted with us one night and told us about the area and even provided us a bottle of wine since we were sitting out by our fire in the rain.
This isn’t a fancy place, but it’s clean and has all the basics you could need. The location is great if looking to go to North Cascades!
