Visit here regularly for breakfast, best in Suffolk, amazing staff, so clean, and decorated to perfection, always a warm friendly atmosphere

A great 5 van site well kept and plenty to do in the area for me and my granddaughter. No toilet facilities but ehu and waste disposal. Second visit and will be back.

Lovely stay and what a CL is all about…peace and quiet…vans parked a good distance between …secure entrance….EHU…bowling green grass…level pitches….and very secluded…
A wonderful exclusive walk along paths to a beautiful wood…
Above all lovely hosts…thank you very much. We will be back.

Great place , staff are super friendly and the food is really good . Kids are made welcome and the atmosphere is relaxed .

Great place to fish. Well kept and peacefull. There is a cafe there also but closed on a Monday and Tuesday, why but why its summer.

We visited the cafe on site here and what a lovely little place. An amazing menu with some very interesting meals, I wanted to try more than one!! The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating allowing us to swap ingredients in and out of the meals to get the meal that we wanted. They were also very accommodating of the children's needs and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were a very big group 8 children (age range 5-16) and 6 adults and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the lovely relaxed atmosphere. Thank you 😊

Sunday brunch with our grown up Grand daughters.
Cheerful attentive service, despite being very busy. Nice coffee, good selection of brunch items.
Lots of families with cheerful children, and plenty of safe space for them to let off steam.

Lovely place with camping and fishing lake. Unfortunately our day was spoilt by inconsiderate campers playing music too loud. We had been having a lovely time sitting by the lake fishing, listening to the birdsong and children playing when some people pitched their tents behind us and played very loud music all afternoon. Packed up and went home. Glad we didn’t take the caravan

Lovely location directly on a fishing lake with toilet/shower block, cafe and children's play area on site. Nice pub across the road. We found tv signal was poor and as we went in November, it was rather muddy ! Dog friendly

Have had a lovely stay. Cant wait to come back in the Spring/Summer. Brillant walk for our dogs. Lovely peaceful site. No amenities but we had our own. At £15 a night, a real gem of a site. X

2020: This cafe is completely different to the one that used to be on the site. It is purpose built, modern and airy. There is a good amount of indoor seating and just as much outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor area has a see through roof to keep off the rain and sun.
It is a perfect place to visit with children as there is a park right next to the cafe, so you can play while waiting for food. You can have a walk around the lake too.
The food is good quality and if you ask for something a little different to what's on the menu they will do their best to accommodate you.
There is always a varied selection of cakes, sausage rolls and drinks. The cakes are HUGE!
Prices are decent.

Perfect location for peace and quiet, lots of space and set well back from the road. Well looked after site, friendly owner, we were lucky to have the whole site to ourselves! Lovely exclusive woodland walk, would be perfect for dog owners. Good food pubs at the Bacton Bull and Thornham Four Horseshoes, friendly welcome at the Finningham White Horse (no food at the time of our visit). Good cycling routes, mainly flat, lots of places within easy reach. We will be back!

What a fantastic find. An absolute gem of a site. Tucked away with secure gated access. Just spent a week here and so sorry to leave. Huge level pitches, beautifully kept grounds, super owners. Friendly and relaxed.
Brilliant nature walk with direct access exclusively for the campsite. Gorgeous spot to sit and relax on a summer’s evening.
Lots to see and do nearby, perfect for cycling, walking, best nature reserves for miles, lovely villages, or just to sit in peaceful surroundings listening to birdsong. Even the cat wants to stay!
I simply can’t praise this site enough or the lovely owners. Can’t wait to come back.

What a find. Lovely quiet relaxing site, with an exclusive walk for campers from site. Ideal cycling and walking area too. No facilities only EHU, friendly owners, we love this site.

Stonham barns has lots of little independent shops. Worth a visit to kill an hour. I use the post office there as it's a bit quieter than my local post office.

We have stayed at this site several times and it's one of our favourites. It is set in a meadow behind the owners property which has very tall conifers on two sides with hedging on third looking out onto farm land and the fourth side is fenced / hedged partly bordering a non intrusive residential property. Site is secure with access via code entry gates. There is a dividing hedgerow in the middle of the site splitting it into approx. 2 equal parts, the upper part having 3 beautiful mature trees in the centre which is where we like to pitch. The grass has always been well cut when we have been there. The site is very quiet and we love to wake up to the chorus of bird song in the summer <(“) The owners are very friendly and flexible on leaving time when possible. Price per night is very reasonable and so are facilities. We really like the village of Finningham with it‘s lovely church and it’s an easy and lovely walk from site through churchyard and across green to the White Horse Pub which is a locals pub but if you can chat to strangers will find to be very friendly (Lorna is the land lady) but don’t think they do hot food! The nearby (3 miles?) Four Horseshoes at Thornham is a very picturesque pub with great beer & food….this is a must for us. A place to visit nearby is the fantastic town of Bury St Edmunds with it’s Cathedral, beautiful parks and it’s old & new shopping centre. We will be back :-)
