Wonderful staff, excellent explanations, expensive.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got fooled by the 5 star reviews... Fake reviews can be very easily made!
This is our REAL experience...
Not only they are expensive i.e $1000 to start with $50 per session($200 per month). They also make it very hard for you to make up for missed session with only one other options per week. So, you will be forced to keep paying....
IMO, training quality is sub par at times starts late and still finishes on time if not early.
All the care about the payment. You will get reminder days before to pay them for next session in a threatening tone imo in the msg!
They also make it very difficult to make up for missed session even when the weather is bad or your child is sick and trick you to pay for next session to use the makeup.
You must pay for another session to be able to use the make up session, no matter how many you have left!!!
We have 5 sessions left which is 5x50 = $250 but we still cannot use them unless we pay for more sessions and they have only one other day to choose from which does not work out for us. So bay bye the money we paid!
I suggest you pay with credit card(although they charge a hefty fee) so at least you have some control than zelle to claim your money back!
Only one good thing is that you can enjoy the beautiful ocean side view and the breeze but this has nothing to do with this soccer academy!
Overall it was a horrible experience!!!

Nice and clean park great for children
Amazing soccer academy! Excellent staff and the coaches are all experienced and great with kids. The owners are always there and are doing a great job being on top of everything. My son absolutely loves coming here. The soccer camp is also fantastic. The kids love it and get to play and practice for hours. If you are serious about your child being a good soccer player and learning how to play in a real team, I highly recommend Bridgeview Soccer Academy.
Turf is very bad.Do not play in cleats, not even good for turf shoes.
When we moved to Park Slope, we heard great things about PSU. We came from a league in our old neighborhood that was lacking the professional coaches. After the first practice, it was obvious that PSU is a level up and really challenges the players to improve their skills and take the game seriously. Every kid is actively participating. We are so happy to have joined PSU!
Park Slope United is a great soccer club with a terrific array of programs, great access to facilities and some truly wonderful coaches. It is a family affair at PSU where many families have multiple children in the program, which creates connections across programs, age groups and coaches. Both my son and daughter have loved their time there and I would recommend it highly to any prospective families.
Our son had a terrific experience with PSU. Great coaches and wonderful community. Skills development plus sportsmanship. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience this autumn with Park Slope United! Our coach was kind, supportive, and engaging. Our son really enjoyed his time and he can’t wait for the winter season to start!
Our son has been with PSU from Select to training with the travel team to joining the BKU academy. Great methods, great communication and they foster an inclusive, caring environment. We love the sense of community it fosters with the parents outside the actual academy. And we love Mo. A proper gentleman and excellent coach!
My two kids have grown a lot as soccer players and really enjoy practice and games. During the year we have been part of PSU we have seen a progress in communication from organizers to parents. The league is strong in teaching tactics and positioning but it could do more on individual skills, specially given the age range (8-10YR olds)
PSU is home for my son. Not just for soccer, but for long lasting friendships with his teammates throughout the years, and mentorship from the coaches. We have been a part of this squad since he first touched a ball, and now he is on the travel BKU team. There is a variety of coaching styles - depending on the personality assigned to your child's team, but what is consistent is their true commitment to them getting better and hitting their potential. They are not disillusioned to the fact that all these kids will play college or go pro (despite what the kid may think LOL.) So the focus really is on growth and teamwork..and fun.
My son has been with Park Slope United and now Brooklyn United for almost a decade and we couldn't be happier with the experience of the club over the long term. Its a been a great community for our son and us alike and feels like the best soccer development opportunity he could have as well!
A bit expansive for 1 hour but the kids had a blast.

Nice
Highly recommend!!
The coaching staff is a standout feature. Their expertise and dedication are evident in every training session and game. They provide valuable insights, honed skills, and fostered a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship. They created a positive and motivating atmosphere for players of all levels.

Overall, this soccer field and its coaching staff offer an exceptional experience that caters to both beginners and seasoned players. It's a place where soccer enthusiasts can thrive and develop their skills while enjoying the beautiful game to the fullest.
Bridgeview is a great place to start and to continue with the nurturing of passionate and versatile soccer players. Having a turf field makes the experience of playing soccer so much more safe and dynamic. The children can do dribbling and tactics that they would not normally be able to do on a solid wooden floor. My boys are very connected to their teammates and the coach. They have great relationships with each other and they help build great character from the regular practices, friendly games, and tournaments they engage in during the week and weekends. Bridgeview has elite, international coaches who lived through professional games and coaching experiences. They also offer opportunities for children to travel internationally with their coaches to play against other youth groups and meet other professional soccer players in their home stadiums. My boys were absolutely hooked!

The park is dirty.
The toilets are super smelly and unkept.
Garbage everywhere.
Typical for most NYC Parks Dept. Locations.

The soccer pitch is unkept and needs work.

NYC builds facilities, plants trees and shrubs- either they dont have the budget, skilled manpower or both - but no appropriate upkeep ever in most NYC Park properties.

Hundreds of Invasive Lantern Flies everywhere.

We been renting this place for over 5 years, and we usually have drinks from the place and bring our own snacks because what they have is not what we like. The manager at this place came to complain about about that, we will take our people to another place where we can feel accepted and be free of having a break after a game.

This out of the way place is an amazing indoor soccer mecca. If you like to play soccer then this is definitely worth the trip. It's a giant space with like 8 different soccer pitches. Separated by walls and nets. Perfect for 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 games.

Looking forward to many more games here. It was so much fun! Enjoy
Great place if you want to chill out
It was fun you can play basketball any games soccer

Turf length is low, its more like grounded so turf soccer shoes works here more than cleats.

Renovated in 2009, was my neighborhood's basketball courts and baseball field my entire childhood. Conditions of the park and surrounding area were very rough until the 2000's
Thankfully the city started taking steps to improve certain elements in the community, albeit begrudgingly.
Great soccer academy. My son started to go there about 2 years ago and he loves it. Him and I see improvements in his dribbling skills and kicking abilities. Coaches are very friendly and always interactive with kids. Kids groups are divided based on right age group. Which I think is very important for the safety of children. On top of that this academy also has winter/summer camps. And it's very helpful for our family, to keep our child busy from electronic devices. Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with the services that Bridgeview academy has to offer.

Our older child team play and it was a nice game, both teams played hard and at the they were even which was fear, for both of them. We enjoyed the game.
It's a good park, it has great courts and a good playground for the kids. What brings it d9wn is the collection of scumbags that hang around it. I have even found on a few occasions some smoking and sleeping on the kids jungle gym.

Love going for my morning daily walk , at Bill Brown’s Playground. The Park is always clean, never to crowded and friendly atmosphere for pets, jogger’s etc. The bathrooms by far, must be the cleanest bathrooms in NYC altogether , never seen a city park looking this clean and hope it stays that way. From 2019 to Present
Edit: we enrolled our boy who began at 3.5 in the mommy and me classes to the next level once he turned 4. The mommy and me was great!

Once we upgraded…It was hard to believe that these guys charge 300$(!!!!!!) registration fee PER YEAR once you move up. The most affordable package at that point is Monday and Wednesday at 3:30 pm. We barely make it and they charge 250$ per every 8 classes which is reasonable but there are NO MAKE UP CLASSES. Price goes higher and higher depending on time slot.

After a month and a half, I ended up taking him out because the treatment of one coach wasn’t fair and my son came outta class extremely upset. He already wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue and that class devastated his motivation. We took a break. Waited a year went back and I asked for a waive for the 300$ fee since last time I had paid and only lasted a month. Times are REAL HARD for my husband and I at the moment and I’m paying for his classes from a small minimum wage job I took, I explained this to the gentleman, they declined to waive the fee however gave me a discount on the fee at half off which is fine I guess, since I already had a uniform. They specifically said that they have 500 students and everyone including parents need to follow the rules, if not, they can go somewhere else.

I understand his point. Nevertheless, I did find this particular comment to be unnecessary. Tbh I now regret enrolling him in this school even though we loved it at first. We hope to not come back next year.

They do have the dome tent for the winters and they have the fake turf so it’s nice to have the year round practices. But with a fee that hefty….it may not worth it.
Only if my son says he loves it.

I should mention that there is ZERO way to see your kids play once they’re on the field. They don’t have cameras for certain angles of the field and you’re not allowed on the field either. Part of it it good so the kids can focus on practicing but part isn’t that there is no way to even see on the cameras AT ALL. So your blind to what is going on with your five year old.

We mentioned it to them, they didn’t care much, they are doing well at the moment and aren’t in the position to have to make parents happy.

I’d give them at this point 3 stars. I appreciate the treatment of my son from the coaches. Which is great. I just don’t appreciate their arrogance, audacity to charge parents 300 registration fee YEARLY. I literally feel like their stealing from our pockets just because They can.
I wish I had not given in to that attitude.

In the end I recommend them because I love their coaches and location.

Review from 2022
First of all I can’t believe these guys only have 15 reviews on here. They should have plenty more considering the quality of experience they provide.

Ok here goes. I signed up my 3.5 year old boy five months ago just about. These guys are very kind to little beginners. Parents can get involved and we stand next to our babies on every step to encourage and support them. After a while I stepped back like most parents and these guys pick it up perfectly. They are kind but firm and encouraging.

They also have about five coaches for a class of 6-8 kids! They provide attention to every kid because they have the manpower.

I honestly have no idea how they’re making money, but they make it reasonable enough.

They have various drills every week, they change it up to make it interesting and yes it is very structured, which I like. They divide the kids in groups and every small group of three kids or maybe four gets a coach.

The head coach, founder of the company, is a pro athlete, he played soccer on a profesional level and really wants all these kids to succeed.

I def recommend these guys. They offer a free trial day, I recommend getting early on Saturdays to see the previous class of older kids, never in my life have I seen 6-7 year olds play like professionals. It was a sight to see.
The park seems to be renovated and I had a good time there, but be careful going there. As long as you not looking for trouble, you should be able to enjoy yourself
My review will not be completely objective because I work there. However, when I was looking for a job, I really wanted to get a job at Bridgeview because the Academy attracted both by its professionalism and its family atmosphere.

Bathrooms seem to be always closed. There are tons of kids till 8-9pm, but bathrooms close at 4pm! The playground stinks like it IS a bathroom
Best place for play soccer with less crowd
Very dirty, it needs to be repaired. I've seen nicer and better. They should do some repair the kids deserve better. 2 star because there's still water and kids still play however it could be nicer.

Un lugar muy bonito, para el deporte y lo más importante la limpieza del lugar
The environment is normally very quite. Some areas are inundated with garbage the Lawn Tennis section I used was the cleanest. However, the chairs and other furniture needs to be removed. The play area and children's play area is deplorable. Over grown shrub, leaves, food containers, and bottles and idlers smoking. Pieces of clothing are normally seen on the basketball court
Pro: The complex is very new and very large. Perfect for short walking.

Con: There is a newly install solar tracking solar panel, however, it is reserved with restricted access (no public EV charging). Bathroom is located near parking only while many field are quite far from the bathroom.

The track around the soccer field is disgusting and filthy. The park employees don't seem to clean there. Beware running around the field. Glass, broken branches and all other things are there.

Good place to bring dogs when no one playing on field. Please pick up after your pet . No need to contaminate field and future athletes.
This playground has nice features on its own but isn’t treated as a space for young children. Too many childless adults hanging out — I get it, there’s no park nearby, but still this is a playground for toddlers through 5th grade. Lots of litter strewn everywhere, including broken glass in play areas. Grown men riding bikes fast through a little kids’ play area. Unsupervised older kids.
Nice field with benches for parents and ample parking, would be nice if they paved the rear side of the park so cars don't have to dodge the ditches. Kids had a blast!
Great facility and great atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. Currently in the winter league and play on weekends there, great especially with how cold it is to play outdoors. One minor issue I have is when booking a field I sometimes have to call 2 or 3 times before someone picks up. Also I have to call once to ask for availability and second time to confirm the booking. An online booking solution would be great to save time.

Bathroom along with a half of the park are still under construction for over six years. Temporary bathrooms are dirty and full, never maintained. Grass is not cut/trimmed, fence has sections that are missing, paint is pealing from swings, fountain does not work. Simply said - park is in horrible condition and no maintenance for over 6 years.

I go there sometimes but I heard from my own friends that they are playing there the place is nice you could play Free I do like to recommend it for people wants to have fun
Nice area but the soccer fields only look nice. Balls fly across the turf and the goals and stands are pristine, however, the turf is only perfect while you don't touch it. It feels like sandpaper and scrapes knees and elbows every time you fall. I fear getting fouled or being aggressive on these fields because of how much the turf has hurt me before.
