The popcorn chicken was tooo salty. The pork over rice was fine. Hot bubble tea was okay. Overall, that's not as Taiwanese as I expected.

5/10 little eats have big greed.

5 is for bubble milk tea. Ordered fried chicken leg bento and combo. The food quality is not good. Chicken leg is dry. I don’t know why they name it Bento cause Bento supposed to have sides, which it have none. $9 for dry chicken leg and rice is kinda expensive. Black pepper sauce is fine but $1 more for that.
Chicken nuggets is not freashly made. Inside of nuggets is warm and outside is little soft. I guess they fried them beforehand and heat them up before serving.
Milk tea is good. And that’s it.

We ordered giant fried chicken cutlet (original). This is pretty good. (Crispy and tasty)
However, we also ordered the green onion chicken bento. Chicken was too dry. For rice part, I personally prefer soft rice. The rice they provide is a little bit hard for me.
Overall, this is a good place to visit! Recommend the giant fried chicken cutlet!

This was my second time eating here. I came once last summer and again this summer. Like most shops on state street, it has a small interior. However, they seem to maximize the space to the best of their ability.

You can order at the counter or the kiosk next to the counter. The format of the menu has changed a bit since they last time I visited. It took me a minute to find the dish that I ordered last time. The new menu format does allow you to customize your meal more, so that’s cool!

I ordered a bento box with popcorn chicken, curry sauce with spice, rice, and a veggie side salad. The veggie side salad comes with thousand island. I’m not a fan of the dressing, so I’ll probably order the veggies without it next time.

I added a tea egg to my meal. It was good, but not as dark and flavorful as I remembered it to be last summer.

I topped off my meal with a pineapple jasmine bubble tea (lychee included). That was light and refreshing! Not too sweet, but also not too watery.

I can’t wait to come back in the fall and winter. The cool temps would pair well with this hearty warm meal! 🍛

My family loved this place. I would absolutely go here often if I lived closer. We loved everything we got (braised pork bowl, chicken cutlet with curry bowl, sweet potato fries) except the shrimp which was not as amazing but still, this place is so good and one of our favorite meals on our trip to Madison.

Good food in good portion sizes! Ordered Tainan braised pork with rice and came with vegetables and soy marinated egg. Make it a combo and add a side and drink. Very tasty and not too much food at once. Food is served relatively quickly and everything is readily available for you. My only note is that there is limited seating so you may want to time when you get there!

The Braised pork over rice was 🤤 so good. The egg was super good too, very very delicious. The pineapple balls were okay .. definitely not balls, but shrimp covered in sauce and pineapples diced up, messy presentation too.

Atmosphere – 5 Stars
Overall Service – 4.5 Stars
Food taste – 5 Stars
Food presentation – 5 Stars
Price – $$$ Expensive

Great Taiwanese restaurant with cool decor. Menu was simple but the taste was excellent. Lots of authentic Taiwanese famous food and the owner was from Tainan so most of the dish is a little sweet. We tried salt and pepper chicken, Mince pork over rice and chicken patties over rice. Highly recommend the minced pork
