Tiny, Taiwanese cafe was a great place for lunch.
This is a cash only business, so come prepared.
Everything was prepared to order.
Portions are generous. Very friendly service.

This Taiwanese style restaurant offers delightful vegetarian options alongside its regular fare, earning four stars. Their stinky tofu is a standout, boasting authentic flavors that please even non-vegetarians. The fried rice is equally impressive, with a perfect balance of textures and seasonings. What sets this place apart is the warm and friendly chef, who goes above and beyond to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.

Great food! Beef noodle soup broth is very flavorful, noodles have a great consistency. Bean curd appetizer is very good. Dan Dan noodles have a great flavor but not the usual beef Dan Dan you get at other restaurants. Cash only, small parking lot. Limited hours for lunch only

Their beef noodle soup was decent, but hard to justify their price ($18 for a mid size bowl). Service was pretty non-existent unless you speak Chinese to them.
The beef noodle soup looks spicy but is actually just mild.

This is a warm cozy spot for me. Their menu is pretty simple with some noodles and side dish options. There’s a reason why their menu is so small. The noodles are just fantastic. I love their sesame sauce noodles with spicy sauce.

But beware that this restaurant only opens from 11am-2:30am
So remember that if you craving some really good comfort food.
Their sample platters you can choose a variety of toppings so if there’s something on the menu you don’t like you can ask to change it.

I was so excited to try Dai Ho. Service was very nice. My wife got the dry minced meat noodle and I got the Taiwanese beef stew. I ordered the small side dishes and unbeknownst to me, it was so pricy. I felt the noodles at $18 is fine and minced meat noodles was $14. The mustard green came in a small tupper ware container and it was $12, tofu skin with jalapeño and anchovies was $14, peanuts with brine shrimp was $16? There was no price on the side items and my bill was almost $80 for two people. Food was great, I just wish I knew the price of things and it was labeled before I bought it. $16 for peanuts felt too high, if I had known it would have been fine. In general I still love this place, food was very good but just wish I knew the prices.

My weekly noodle place when I lived in LA. It has some hard core fans among Asians in the community. My absolute favorite was the sesame noodle extra spicy and chicken soup. I went back again today after over 3 years away and it's still so satisfying. It can get crowded pretty fast and they only serve lunch. Expect to spend $20 to $30 per person here. It's premium noodle place.

4.4 does not do it justice here. Incredible noodle spot. Sides are boxed in plastic containers therefore you can just take the containers with you of you cannot finish your food. Fantastic spot and a must try! I tried their beef Noodle Soup. Their menu is only a handful of items and they do it really well!!

The sesame noodles are the perfect treat for a vegetarian! So rich and flavorful, they feel so nourishing and comfy.

I love all of their sides too, tried the green Papaya today and it complimented the rich noodle dish very well.

This is my favorite spot for a quick lunch!

Decent Taiwanese food at a decent price. Ordered the lightly battered fish fillet today with rice, cabbage, fried tofu, and hard boiled flavored egg. I ate the whole bento box. I was quite surprised. The winter melon iced tea was delicious too. $13 cash only. Plenty of parking. Next to subway sandwich shop. Mandarin speaking but there are pictures on the menu. Fast service. Went at 4pm. 5 min wait time.

Definitely would return again with my Taiwanese friend as she loves the oyster noodle soup. I will try their stinky deep fried tofu and oyster omelette next.

Half dishes are still vegetarian!! yeah. But just Ok ambiance and seating. Parking was kinda full when we went there, choices were ample, price was great for the serving of food received, and service was alright- you could speak either English or Mandarin to the staff. Good vibes.

QQ has been around for quite some time, but I haven't actually dined in until recently. I remember they used to serve only vegetarian food, but it seems like their menu has expanded back to vegetarian and Taiwanese food. They're located in the same plaza as Subway and Domino's, so parking is not hard to find.

Decided to relive some high school memories and dined here with a few friends (one of which is vegetarian). I was surprised at the number of vegetarian dishes offered (noodles, soups, rice), but I stuck with the regular Taiwanese dishes.

Pork and chicken rice ($7.25) seems to be the most worthwhile combo. For a relatively low price, you get a pork chop, a chicken steak, some vegetables, a soy sauce egg, pickled vegetables, and rice AND a complimentary black or green tea. What a steal, right? Their menu claims to not use high fructose corn syrup, which is nice. Food came out fairly quickly and while it was slightly oily, it was a comforting dish that filled me up with some leftovers to spare. Pork chop and chicken were both really good - although the pork chop was better just because there was more fat. The chicken was a little dry, but there was marinated flavor. Came with the perfect amount of rice - really enjoyed the sauce over the rice. I finished about 2/3 and saved the rest for lunch.

One friend ordered the sausage rice ($7.25) and another friend ordered the vegetarian curry fried rice ($7.50). The vegetarian dish normally doesn't come with a drink, but the owner was nice enough to give it to them anyway, probably because they ended up ordered side dishes that more than compensated for the price of the drink. I tried the sausage and I really enjoyed the flavor - on par with Sinbala's sausage rice and it came with the same vegetables and egg and tofu side dishes as my combo did. Didn't try my friend's vegetarian dish, but he said it was tasty.

We also got an order of popcorn chicken ($5.99) and vegetarian mushroom omelet ($5.99). The popcorn chicken was plentiful and lightly fried. I did think there was more batter than chicken, but it was a nice snack to munch on while eating the dishes. The omelet as alright - a vegetarian take on the oyster pancake, but I wasn't a fan of the sweet and sour sauce poured on top. Flavor was alright, but probably not something I myself would order again.

As for the teas, we all got the green teas, which was a nice addition to the meal. A bit on the sweeter side, but very refreshing. I do have to say that I ended up saving the tea to drink the next day and it tasted like water.

This place is cash only and seats are quite limited. They do get out orders quickly, and lots of people seem to eat or order take-out so it's a matter of luck if you decide to dine in. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you want something quick and cheap or you're in the mood for vegetarian dishes.

It's always been pleasant to come here for food. The place is very small, kind of hard to find from the street. It's next door from a Subway, across the street from Ralph's store in Temple city. This place been changing ownership but there's this older lady that always been there. Prices used to be cheap but they raised it quite a bit now. Customer service is great but I wish they can speak English better. They used to serve soup and dessert also together with the food that we ordered but not anymore.

Very Asian fast food. Cash only so keep that in mind. Hard to see from the street but it's right next to subway so can't miss it. Food is decent for the price but the indoor seating is very tight. Good for a quick bite.

My family has been coming here for years and despite ownership change, this little place has stayed great. There are plentiful vegetarian options, interesting variety and generous combo meals. Manage those expectations about amazing service, evaluate it for the food and you'll have a great time!
