Super cool store. Very interesting collection and reasonable prices. Great place to jazz up your apartment with new furniture, or just accumulate more nick nacks. The staff were cool and very helpful too.
Vendors please read especially, I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. This venue is a SCAM for both customers and vendors. Customers have reviewed a year ago on how antique vendors would SCAM them with fake rugs and watches… which is unacceptable. It’s not worth the trek to go since they only have 10 vendors as well… no increases from last year.

Nothing has changed even from that and in fact, as I learned from the assistant manager, those vendors don’t even pay their fees or parking unless they feel like it so this shows you how deep they are in this mess and how they got played themselves. These people scammed me out of a vendor fee, I asked for a cancellation and refund and I have not gotten a response. I was kind about things but clearly this company doesn’t understand kindness.

Owner is extremely rude as well and makes fun of new vendors, she is VERY unprofessional. Along with the coordinator hides and never shows his face. New small businesses, I think you deserve better and you get nothing for how much you pay.

Also, I was a part of homophobic harassment at the Sunday Market, letting everyone know this company cares about the gay dollar more than gay people, they are only gay friendly to earn money. That’s very dangerous so let’s all be careful and not be around people like them. They did nothing to keep me, my staff, or my customers safe. Almost all places generally have a zero-tolerance policy, just a new thing for the Parkdale Hall to learn about.

If anyone is an upcoming business, having a wedding, or is looking for a event space, please consider elsewhere since the last thing you would want is a business to ignore you when you have problems. Best of luck to you Parkdale Hall, you will need it. You could have done the right thing but judging by how much of a failure your Sunday Market is… you clearly don’t know how to do that.
Ok if you’re passing by but don’t bother going out of your way to come to this place. Only 10 or so vendors

Love shopping at this store! Not only do you find one of a kind really unique things, the people are super helpful and friendly. Very pleasant shopping experience. Will be back!
The place an interesting collection of antiques. I would have loved it even more had it housed some larger items…but it had some interesting items, especially if you want spice up the decor of our house

An actually affordable vintage/thrift furniture store. Great collection and helpful staff. They also have a very comprehensive website with all the items.
Found it kind of disappointing. The building itself is beautiful but there weren't many vendors and prices were very high. This is not a rummage in search of deals kind of fair, but the item selection and quality isn't really up to par for a proper antique show either.

Had an excellent experience shopping here. Came to Williams looking for a unique gift, and Arry instantly helped me find something perfect! Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone interested in antiques and vintage pieces.

I bought a lamp with a switch issue for a great price at another local vintage store, and immediately took it here as I know they are experts in light fixture repair. After a couple minutes of looking at the switch, the friendly, helpful man working at the counter fixed the issue - for no charge, while I was happy to pay for the service. I have another lamp in need of repair and will certainly be bringing it here for service. I highly recommend this place both for light fixture repair and for unique vintage/salvage wares they have on offer - its selection is like no other shop I've seen in Toronto.

As a west-ender, I was extremely disappointed to see a local business in my neighbourhood advertising their support for the illegal occupations currently happening in Canada. (See pic of the storefront.) Even more concerning is the distinct possibility that proceeds from purchases that customers make here would be used to support these occupations via donations. It is therefore not only important for prospective customers to understand where their money is going to, but it is directly germane to the very nature of the business that is being operated here. Caveat emptor.

The owner of this store is brave enough to tell others her opinion. Our country has been built on discord, not shame.

Blog TO has proven itself to be biased...and therefore " fake news" as it made no attempt to be middle ground ( real journalism).

I will be buying something from this store soon. My tenants are haters of Suitcase and I'm going to be a supporter.

Shop local, freedom of speech, polite discord, and show love ❤️ not hate

This is one of my favourite places in the city. It is full of interesting, beautiful treasures at very reasonable prices. Also, they are super friendly and knowledgeable and will take the time showing and teaching you things. I had a beautiful lamp that was broken, I took it all over town and everyone told me it was going to be either impossible or expensive. Took it into Williams to see what they would say….. fixed the switch in 10mins, and are going to send me option for a new milk glass shade in a range of affordable prices! He also took the time to show me the materials he used and how he did it so I could do it on my own if I ever wanted. Best shop in Toronto.
I was definitely expecting more vendors and selection. Hopefully they pick up steam as they go, but currently not worth the trip.

Always a good time - like visiting a gallery of antiques and curiousities from various eras. No matter your taste and style you’ll find something intriguing. They also have a great selection of vintage door and lighting hardware.

I was very excited to shop here as I am an avid antique collector and have seen most antique stores in Ontario. In all of my years shopping I have never seen a store clerk play hide and seek with customers. I am still shocked. I arrived at the store 3 hours before closing time, the door was closed but the lady working inside clearly saw me, she left to the back and never returned. The store sign said open till 6 pm and there was the lady working inside so I assumed she would greet me. However, she stayed hiding in the back of the store and did not even pick up the phone. Worst customer service.
My first visit to this Antique Market was such a huge letdown. It was promoted as something special, I went .. scant few vendors, not much selection. One vendor that had a few small carpets tried to justify his high price saying it was silk - it wasn’t, it was mercerized cotton, one of the oldest scams. I left with a very bad taste in my mouth because of him. Hoping in time it will become a mature vibrant scene when it grows up, and that the con wakes up to realize his deception hurts everyone’s image in the whole market! Looking forward to having a better impression in a future visit, as the hall is a lovely venue and great location!

Suitcase is a store you don't find enough of in Toronto. Everything is one of a kind and they have items for everyone's budget. Lots of vintage items, hand made art and furniture and a selection of unique antiques/memorabilia. If you're looking for something different - this is a special place.
