Huge place...huge inventory of games and TTRPG materials. Super-nice people who know their stuff. They responded quickly to an email request and set aside exactly what I was looking for.

Love this place! They always so kind, and helpful. They have classics for a decent price like the original Metal gear, and other vintage PC and console games. One of my favorite, if not the best vintage/collector stores in the area.

This place is the best!!! Sarah helped me out and is the nicest woman ever! I come here about every week and there’s always something new that’s worth checking out. If you are into ANYTHING retro, from records to VHS tapes to old video games you will find something! This place is definitely worth the drive from any distance.

Ryan at the counter is so knowledgeable about product in the store, very personable and if you have any question about stuff on display or consoles he’s more than happy to talk to you about it. I felt very comfortable and welcome in the shop and the quality, variety, and diversity of games and movie stuff they have here is worth the difficulty the parking lot poses.

If you love video games regardless of generation or origin they have SOMETHING for you.

Sarah has been the best in both professional and friendly way to me whenever I come in here to grab my games. She deserves this recognition and more. The store has most of the desired games and they are all in great condition. Great place to shop for games.

I came in without any knowledge of technology but needed something for my grandson to have fun while I had him over. Sarah was wonderful and her main obligation was to save me as much money as she was able and she did!!! She was patient, polite, knowledgeable, and very efficient and helpful. I will definitely be making this my go to store for my gaming needs...

So I traded in a game system and they were extremely quick and efficient to make my trade I also learned a ton from the staff there.

I live in upstate NY & planned a trip in south Connecticut. & This is one of the reasons that motivated me to make that trip.
The store was fantastic & very clean/organized. Also, the staff was super friendly, attentive & definitely knew what she was doing. I'm planning on visiting the other 2 Connecticut locations at some point.

Build a retro games plus in mid east upstate NY! Near the border of Vermont. You'd get people from 2 states going to your store! :)

Incredibly awesome place! Their selection is fantastic, the people that run the place are all very nice, and it feels like a very welcoming environment for all people. It's everything you want in a local game store and more.

Unfortunately many years ago (under old ownership) a judge at the time made up a story and the old owner told me i could not shop there without hearing my side of the story.
Now i am able to order online and they honor my purchases and allow me to pick them up but make it very uncomfortable to be in the store any longer then the few minutes it takes to pick up the items.
With the amount of acceptance they have for people you would think that the manager of the store would not hold a grudge for something that didn't involve him or the store at all this many years later.
Giving a 2 star because the selection is good, but behind the scenes they are not as nice as they portray themselves to be.

This store is awesome. Huge selection and the staff is always in a great mood when I’ve stopped in. Everyone I’ve seen on staff has been incredibly helpful and informative for a newer D&D player as well as helping my 6 year old explore new games she would like. Worth the trip out of town for the atmosphere and huge selection of products.

Man, these guys are fantastic. Literally the most welcoming gaming store I’ve been in with smiling faces wall to wall. Prices on paint/basing mats were perfect too. I’ll be a regular. 😊

Edit: just wanted to add, I bring my two-year-old son here all the time, and sometimes he has ants in his pants and so we have to go and do some dance moves down an aisle. And what’s really really nice is not once has anyone given me a cross eye or said a rude thing. In fact, they often give him the bag of paints to hold on our way out which MAKES his day, which makes my day. And he cackles all the way to the car.I just want to thank you guys so much for always keeping it a special experience for my growing family.

Checked this place out today and they have so many things! The prices are fair with many options for many different consoles. I would use this spot over any other game store any day!

I really like this place. Every time I go here I impressed with a plethora of board games they have for sale. They have tables to play games here with friends. I have hung out here to celebrate my birthday with friends. I will note that items here are expensive. Board games are generally expensive these days. They have a good selection of D&D stuff but I was hoping for more. Lastly, the staff here is always friendly and informative.

4/16/2023 Chistopher was extremely helpful! he was playing 5 roles at once, salesman, Clerk, manager, you name it! He was super friendly and knew a lot about games and merchandise. He was so polite. He deserves a raise!!! Need more staff there.

The store had good stuff, a lot of games, very organized. I got some cool stuff.

Nice service that looks out for the customers. Mellow was very helpful in my search for a PlayStation 5 and helped me most out of any of the stores I went to since.

I called the store to ask questions about trading in a console and buying a new one and Chris was very helpful and informative. Later on I came into to trade/buy and it was Chris who helped me again- he was very polite, infollrmative, and made sure I knew every option I had.

They were really nice when I needed an extra day to come and pick up my pre ordered game. They are always really friendly. I do wish more women were on the staff though. It's kind of bro-ey in there.

Cool spot for gaming. While I don't love the general location, the store itself is solid. They have a ton of games, equipment, etc. This place even has space for people to come and play games. It's worth checking out if you're into board games, D&D, etc.

RIP off . My son purchased a new game and took it out of the wrapping and never played it. So we went to return it for a refund. They offered $10. For the game if we swiped my card. $8. If we wanted cash. Originally the game cost 59.

I would rather download games then go to this place again.

I don't give a lot of 5 Star reviews on any platform but these guys deserve it. Every time I stop by, I end up having amazing conservations about everything. Games, Events, Upcoming releases, movies. These guys are so friendly. Keep up the great work
