Came here for a team lunch.

The food was very delicious, however we all agreed that the portions could be a little bit bigger. My colleague had a vegetarian dish with brussels sprouts, and indeed, he could´ve had more veggies on his plate considering how quick that´ll be digested.

Otherwise nice ambiance but there was a cold breeze.

We left rather disappointed. The food was okay - could be personal preference - but the service was chaotic and rather slow. We were early so service started quick but then slowed down a lot while the restaurant filled up. I noticed other tables waiting a long time to even order and then getting wrong orders or missing drinks etc. We could also hear the chefs in the kitchen talk and listen to music. The sommelier however is friendly and competent.

Chez Harvest is a hidden gem in Brussels. The owner, a wine enthusiast, consistently extends a warm welcome and offers excellent advice on beverage pairings for your meal.

The “around” formula is exceptionally unique. Whether it’s around vegetables, fish, or meat, the menu selections are inventive and meticulously crafted. What’s most impressive is that since the introduction of this menu concept, the culinary standards have significantly elevated. One can sense the passion and dedication in every bite. While some flavors may be less familiar, it’s a strength to introduce forgotten vegetables or cultural variations.

In summary, I absolutely loved my experience and can’t wait to return.

Absolutely the most awful culinary experience of my life in the world!
The food is absolutely not good, both in taste and composition.
Nothing tastes good , everything is dull and no ingredient connects with the other. Every course gets even worse and the wine pairing is very bad!
I couldn't even finish the entire dishes since they were so bad.
Seriously, how can this level of food even exist??
The restaurant is poorly designed, the atmosphere is non existent and the service is super slow. You wait more than 20 min between courses.
The dessert was just awful .
On top of all that you pay 190€ for 2 people!!
Shame on this place, it should be closed immediately!
No word written here can truly describe how awful this place is.....

Good food but we had slow service and it's quite loud inside
Loved the courgette soup! The service was very slow on a Wednesday. Very friendly staff but no explaining of the food when brought on the table. Variety of wines and suggestions on what to combine was good. Presentation of the food was also good. Bad choice of the black plate, feeling of it not so appealing.

A restaurant with exceptional fine cuisine. We were warmly received by our host „ Mus“ though we came late. The friendly service, the special ambience and great wines made this dinner unforgettable !

Booked to come here on a Saturday evening because we wanted to try a more upmarket restaurant in Brussels for dinner on our last night.

A relatively small restaurant offering an amazing culinary experience. Had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing, followed by coffee and petit fours. All courses were creative and beautifully cooked & presented. All of the staff were warm & friendly; we really enjoyed the evening.

Definitely more of an experience than a meal. Expensive but worth it.

A Fine dining place where portions are small as usual but the presentation is really nice.
Food is delicious.
If you would like to experience such a style, it is a good place to try.

Very nice restaurant with phenomenal food! Wonderful wine pairing with the meal. The music is at a very good level and allows you to have an opportunity to converse. Great spot for a meeting or romantic date with a great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

We came in a group of >4 people - we had a nice evening but we’re disappointed by the service. But to start with the positives: very nice table setting (see pictures), creative dishes, traditional French food, professional service. On the other hand, service was not what I would expect at this level. To name a few concrete examples:
1) We were not proactively offered a drink or water while we were waiting for our last colleague to join (we had to ask for it),
2) after the second course, the waiter stopped serving us water,
3) My friend didn‘t like the desert and left 90% of it, there was no question asked why she didn’t finish it,
4) the petit four were brought after we had finished our coffee,
5) Not after any course there was a question whether we liked the food or not.
And a final thought: you really need to be into French cuisine - herring, foie gras, oysters, asparagus with lots (!!) of butter, iberico pork are things I personally like, but may not be something for everyone.

It’s my second visit to this restaurant . The first one was in November and the other one now in Mai.

Menu has changes since November. Service is very good , the same waiters as the last time. We’ve had 7 courses with vine pairings . We came at about 19:00 and left at 22:30 .
Atmosphere is relaxed.

In general everything was good.

However the vine pairing was a very big disappointment. Reason for that was that the same type of vine was served with several dishes.
I have never experienced that before.
Well i am expecting to be served different type of bine for every single dish. I think that the waiter should be informed us about what kind of vine will be accompanied to which dish. Or the restaurant should have a vine pairing list to be given to the guests. ( my experience from Michelins restaurants, probably that’s the reason I’m aspecting that)

If I I would know about the things above I would rather have ordered a bottle of vine because the combination of wine and dishes was not really good. ☹️
This moment was very disappointing.

If this moment is important for you as much as for me than make sure to ask for information before you device to go for a vine pairing.

Food is delicious , well presented with finesse . Different techniques used. That’s I liked a lot.

This is an expensive restaurant . And the expectation is accordingly.

What a nice experience. A personal touch can really make a difference in an already savage market in Brussels. Restaurants are good in general here but, the staff and owners make the real difference. Now, the food is amazing. Wine pairing exquisite. The wine guy, funny and pleasant, the waiters and picolos always present but without bothering you. I hope the balance of this restaurant will be forever kept because I want to come back here very soon and not only once! What a celebration 🎉

Was good quality, though I would say very expensive for what you get. Service was efficient. Note on a Friday or Saturday evening you have to order the 4 course meal as a minimum. For the same price I have eaten at a 1 star restaurant but this place doesn't have a star. The beef cheek for me was the best part of the meal.

Very interesting, adventurous, colorful, fun. Plates are small, I recommend having the chef do the wine pairings and getting the stories behind the food and wine. Be patient. It is very good

Update 23 Jan 2024.
Second visit. Food was great. It was a bit busy and there were 8 of us, it took 3 hrs. Still recommend. It is a fun experience. Recommend the wine pairing.
