We heard Suliko from a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Everything tasted very fresh. The vegetables and the meat are tasty! We loved the bbq pork and khinkali too. Thank you staff too for being so accommodating and making sure we have a great dinner experience. Will definitely recommend!

A charming place tucked away from the busy streets. We dined in the cozy basement, perfect for our family occasion, and enjoyed the menu. Each dish was fresh, expertly prepared and perfectly suited to different dishes.

We were two English speaking couples having dinner. They assigned us a non English speaking waiter that did not understand our order, brought the drinks one by one, and white wine instead of red, we asked for the bread 4 times in order to get it and it was put double on our check AND totali forgot one of the main plates that was finally delivered after talking with someone else and after the rest of us finished eating. All of this even if the waiter wrote the order on a tablet. In the end, when he came with the 2 checks, one for each couple, he did not know witch one was witch and they had mixed products. We settled things with someone higher, but the waiter was laughing in this time. They offered us some apologies, but they need English speaking waiters with polite attitude if they want to grow for tourist market.

Horrible service. Restaurant was almost empty, food took forever to come out. Lukewarm at best.
Ordered Tomahawk , but it was like a braised beef. Extremely tough and chewy. Smothered in a sauce.

Lovely little place tucked away from the bustle. The basement is a cozy space and since we were part of a touring gang, there was a set menu. Everything was so fresh and well done. Delicious even for foreign taste buds.

Ordered three different dishes and all of them were mediocre at best, unfortunately. Best thing about this restaurant in the pianist that was playing. Service was lacking and I felt like all waiters had not the best attitude. Wish I saved my coin. Really hope they will improve their service and food, since the place itself seems really nice.

If one wishes cosy dinner with friends, this restaurant is for you. U will greatly enjoy nice music, the staff and pianist are extremely welcoming.
The only thing that still bothers me, i could not manage to get their matryoshka of the well-known comedy character 😁😁🥰🥰🥰

I wanna order a fresh juice and they bring me a litter juice which for a liter and x4 price. I mean why they don’t tell me in the beginning that they just sell for one liter. Plus, order a vegetarian mushroom soup, they gave me fried mushrooms first, then I complained that was wrong, and halb an hour later they gave me a mushroom soup quite meat instead vegetarian soup.
We just wanna share bill but they don’t want to do that.

We have been for dinner and ordered khachapuri, spinach with butter and fruit tea. The food is extremely delicious, the atmosphere brings you to one of the most famous Soviet comedy, in addition there was a live music performance. We enjoyed evening a lot, recommend this place, thank you!

Great food and atmosphere, not sure why the TV plays fashion TV though. I definitely recommend the egg looking pizza. It’s super cheesy and phenomenal flavor.

Typical tavern in the center of Yerevan. The food was really good but unfortunately, we had to wait more than 45mn for our main dish to arrive, and had to eat all the sides we ordered cold. I think they forgot part of our order, which is a shame because the food was delicious. Grilled BBQ dishes seem to be the specialty, but there are plenty of vegetarian options available as well. It was a bit noisy with the music, but the band was not bad.
Not cheap, but I found it reasonable for the food, if it hadn't been for the waiting time.

I went there twice. The first time was good. The second time the stew was too salty and the lamb was mostly bone. Normally I put 1 star when something is too salty and uneatable, but the dumplings were good, so I put 2 stars. After two times overall I do not recommend here anyway.

It was the worst service I've ever encountered in the whole of Armenia. The waitress was so rude, was talking to us with sarcasm, and it felt like she was laughing at us. We were in the middle of ordering, and when we asked if they had a glass of Tan, she said no, then asked about natural juice (only a glass not 1liter) she also said no and then left and didn't let us finish our order. It was quite cold, and we saw that they were handing out blankets, we asked for them, and she only brought us 1 (we were 3 people), and when we asked for another one, she left and didn't bring it. Then something happened, and one of us were at the next table (we were calling a taxi for them), and the waitress came and asked "Are you here to ask for a blanket from them?". This is totally outrageous, that waitress should be fired.
The food wasn't the best. We ordered caesar salad, and the chicken tasted like old oil. Meat khinkalis were definitely not the best. We have tried so many better options, and Imeretian Khachapuri was also not good.

Stay away from this place (from this branch) as far as you can.

I was here two times - both times I ate Khinkali with mushrooms. I would really recommend this place for khinkali. Just please be aware that for the each type of khinkali (meat, mushrooms, cheese and so on) you need to order at least three. They also have Georgian lemonades. Good place.

Service could improve. The waitress was a bit cold. Tried summer dolma and chicken kebab. Underground restaurant with cool temperature. But it was sort of empty when I visited in the afternoon.

Ate here on our last day in Yerevan. Wanted to end our adventures in Yerevan with Georgian food, and it surely did not disappoint. Food was authentic, like we had it in Tbilisi. Prices were good as well.

I have no idea how this restaurant has a high ratìng. There are many other Georgian restaurants in Yerevan that are much, much better. Some are excellent. Suliko is mediocre at best. We ordered fish khorovats. It was not well cooked, the fish seemed to be old, and it had some weird mayonnaise stuff squirted on it ... which I have never in my life seen before. They did take it back and we didn't have to pay for it, but the manager implied that it was just a matter of taste. Maybe, but I never tasted anything like that! Not in Yerevan , which has an excellent culinary culture. We also ordered khingkali. These were better, but kind of oddly industrial in size, plus the meat was not consistently spiced ... some were really spicy and some were not. Also they brought about 20 and we only ordered 10. Didn't have to pay for the 10 extra, but still .... I don't know if the cook was having a bad night or what. We had to wait a long time for the khingkali. Better to spend your money next door at Lagonid, excellent Syrian-Armenian food. Never a disappointment! Just wanted to state that the wait staff at Suliko was fine, so no problem there. Also there was a young lady singing and she doing her best, but all in all Suliko was a dismal disappointment.

Took my mom for a birthday here. Food was delicious, portions were good size, bottle of Georgian wine was like $6, waiter was super friendly, service was fast and I saw many families come and go. Highly recommend, especially that prices are very affordable. Will come back for sure.

Khinkali were really tasty. Service was good except at the end. They don't bring the money back until we asked for it and they bring 2 coffees while we asked for one because we were 2 people. But my friend doesn't like coffee. Really simple mind they have...

The best restaurant in the world. I have been in many restaurants around the world, but so far this Armenian restaurant is the best. Quality food, big portions, cheap prices, very friendly staff and live music, it is the way to 5 star restaurant. Do not hesitate to visit this restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant, food and the people working there.

Great and wide selection of Georgian food. Very friendly staff. Located in a more quiet street off the main roads. We were lucky to get a table outside and enjoyed the relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Recommended by locals!

They serve food so fast i double check that its not a fast food place ) everything was on top! Good service and prices + free Wi-Fi .. only thing i didn't like is that restaurant has no parking place
P.s. try Beens (lobio) with Mchadi (corn bread) its fantastic!

Tasty food, moderate price, for Yerevan acceptable, nice decoration and live music.

When I visited Yerevan in Spring 2014, I went to this restaurant 5 nights in a row, and tried 10 different dishes. I loved at least 7 of them, and the other 3 were probably great, but not just my taste. Has different dishes and stews, with sausages and soups, bread and other filled pastries. Live traditional music and lovely crowd. Try it for sure!
