We are very happy with the swim program, Miss Jackie is an excellent instructor! Highly recommend British Swim school, east Boca Raton
Small class size. Teachers excellent at conveying concepts. Positive responses to children at frequent intervals. Each group based on skills needed to learn. Rapid advancement.
My granddaughter learned pool safety and how to swim strongly in just 5 weeks. So pleased!
Ms Jacqueline is an excellent swim teacher and has the patience to work with the children and teach them water safety skills. I would recommend this swim class to anyone with children.
My daughter has been taking classes at this location since she was 6 months old. She is now 3.5 years old and loves it. The teachers are patient with her and she loves the interaction she has with them and the other kids. As an ex-professional swimmer, I would recommend this school to any parents who want their kids to learn from a young age.
I recommend this Swim school. My 3 year old starting to learn a few weeks back and he is floating on his own now! The Instructor was very patient and stead strong about him learning. She was always encouraging him to push .. I liked that .. he’s doing so well !
Thank you Ms Jackie!
This is by far one of the best swim schools in the area!!

The team is very very welcoming!! From the coaches to the management team they are all super friendly and help all the kids.
My kids started with coaches Sydney and Keisha and both are extraordinary!! The kids have been improving a lot. They even tell you when your child finishes a certain level and is ready to move to the next level, which is a great incentive for the kids.

I read a lot of the negative reviews here and they all share their bad experience with missing classes or cancellations. And honestly we never had a problem with cancellations. The school has a policy to request cancellation an hour before your scheduled time, which I think is very fair to them as a business.
My son is 4 years old and he goes to daycare so of course he gets sick a lot and it has been very easy to go online and request to cancel with the option for a make up class. It is actually very easy and the school never gave us a hard time.

Again this is a great school!! We highly recommend it!!
David has learned how to swim fairly quickly. I do love how Ms. Jackie teaches as her technique and approach are great! I feel that David is ready to get to the next level as he is able to swim confidently the length of the pool and just needs to perfect some strokes. He likes going for lessons so it makes learning that much easier and enjoyable. Going to the next level gives him so much encouragement to perhaps someday even compete. We not only now just want him to learn survival skills but be a good swimmer!
The school is very flexible with understanding parents and children's constant schedule conflicts with sickness or commitments. We are glad to have chosen this school for our children. It is a very necessary skill to learn!

I most highly recommend Florida Swim school. They truly care about kids learning to swim and learning water safety. My 4 y/o was terrified of swimming to jumping in independently. The swim coaches are so very sweet and have tremendously built both of my boys confidence in the water!
All coaches are very kind and professional; classes are very efficient but fun at the same time. Kids love it and learn!
I'm totally satisfied!
We recently cancelled our membership to the Florida Swim School. I want to start by saying Jill, my daughter’s instructor was great. The pool is also very nice and warm - perfect for the kiddos.

My problem is the management. I was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. I’m a stay at home mom so I am the one who takes my daughter to swim and knows all the details about her class. While in the hospital, I wanted her life to be as normal as possible and asked my mom if she would take my daughter to swim that morning. I failed to tell my mom it was a “mommy and me” and she would need a bathing suit as well. My mom shows up on time and they deny my daughter from taking the class since my mom couldn’t join her.

That was fine. I totally understand that she couldn’t take the lesson that day, but then they told us we still have to pay for it and they won’t allow us to make it up. This was our FIRST time ever missing a class. We have been there for 3 months and have shown up on time for every class. The manager had no empathy and was extremely rude about my situation.

I just don’t understand how you can fail to show people grace when it was our first time missing a class and we tried to be there for it!

Well, now we will be spending our money at the JCC.
Fantastic owner, fantastic coaches, fantastic all around. I am so grateful my kids are learning to swim here. The employees really care about the children and my kids light up when we get here. It’s also a great sense of community. I love Florida swim school!
Florida Swim School is a phenomenal place for young children to learn to swim, a critical skill for children. Our son started at one year old and within a couple visits immediately became so comfortable in the water. Ms.Jill truly seems to care about the children she works with and gives each “tadpole” individual attention and helps parents to learn tools to implement on our own. Would highly recommend this fun safe space to anyone looking to have their children learn to swim. We are so grateful to have found this space.
We've had a delightful experience with Florida Swim School so far! My son began shortly after his first birthday. His instructor, Jill, is a perfect combination of silly and serious! She helps learning to swim and water safety be something enjoyable for us all. (At his age, the parents get in the pool with their child.) The facilities are clean, the pool is warm, and the scheduling is super easy with their app. We look forward to class every week. We can't wait to continue watching our little minnow learn and grow!

First of all we had a bad experience at first class, but once they listened to our story and understand my kids need everything went smooth and good. I loved it the pool is indoor it’s off the sunlight no more sunscreen and the classes only 4 kids , and the best part is the makeup policy classes
My 5 year old son has been attending swim classes for about 7 months at this location and he has advanced through so much knowledge and skill; it’s very impressive. We have been to 4 different swim instructors and this is our favorite. Miss Jacqueline is caring, knowledgeable and patient and the program makes sense. I could not be more pleased. My son is safe and is now really enjoying his lessons.
We have been coming to Florida Swim School for years and love it! The staff and coaches are great and are really good about adjusting to skill sets and needs. It is a heated indoor pool so rain or shine classes continue. They are open late and on Saturdays, so it is a great place for working parents who aren't available in the middle of the day. If you miss a class it is easy to book makeup lessons through their portal. Both of my children have been going to the school since they were 18 months old (they have classes for younger babies and adults as well) but it is nice because parents have the option to get in the pool with their kids or just wave from behind the glass. Their philosophy is definitely slow and steady and really focus on learning fundamental skills and techniques that promote lifelong swimming and won't just throw your kid in the pool and hope they swim. We have made great friends through the school and will continue to be a part of it!
We're deeply grateful our pediatrician recommended this swim school. Miss Kathy and Rob practice a gentle, child-first style of teaching and the results are amazing.

It's incredible to see your own child blossom into a real swimmer - without fear, and with joy in the pool - after just a few lessons. It's also incredible to see that evolution in the other children with whom you share the class.

We enjoy their mindful approach for both parents and children in how they structure the classes. We also respect their extensive Montessori teaching background, which shows in how they treat each child individually, with respect and kindness and calmness, and approach swimming as a series of small steps that all come together for different leaps of skill in the water.

If you care most about your child learning to swim in a supportive, gentle and loving environment, this is the school for you. You will not only nurture a safe swimmer, but also a child who discovers joy, confidence and fun in the pool.
Kathy and Rob McKay are hand down the best swimming teacher around. They have been teaching for many years a technique that is kind, gentle, and non-threatening. Our baby girl has been in their class since she was 8 months old (now 3 years old). She can swim to the bottom of the pool (5 ft deep) with no problem now adays.
Their method of teaching lets the child learn at their own pace. The class is fun, infomative and the best swim class Boca Raton has to offer.
