As a flight attendant, I'm thrilled that this franchise exists. I've had the pleasure of trying it in Paris as well, and the quality consistently meets my expectations. I appreciate the simplicity and clarity of their menu, and the food always tastes fresh and homemade. For this particular Five Guys in Montreal, I hope they'll do better in the space cleaning. Thank you Five Guys!

I got the small cheeseburger (1 patty instead of 2, that's the difference because the regular and small cheeseburger) and it was very satisfying!

I said I was goinf to eat indoors, but they still gave me a brown to go bag and no tray. So I ended up eating right outside on a bench insteach.

It was my first time at the Five Guys so I'm not sure if it's all the time served in to-go bags, or if it's because I went a little late, around 8:30pm.

This restaurant has a moderately sized dining area.  It is easily accessible from the street and not too far from the nearest Metro station.
The staff were fast but not to chatty with clients.  They were very chatty with each other, though.
The food is good.  If they definitely have way better burgers than other fast food chains.  The fries were a bit soggy, though.  Expect to pay at least $20 person when eating here.  This said, I still wasn't 'wowed' like many people told me I'd be.  It was basically just a burger and fries.  I've made better at home.  There wasn't much seasoning to the meal.
I might go back someday but for the price, I can have better elsewhere.
Avoid the bathrooms, they were pretty dirty during my visit.

Very thick burger with lots of fillings and very tasty.

I didn't really like the cajun fries. They were tasty at first, but the more you go through the bottom of the cup the less i liked it. As they fill it up a lot, they get soggy and cold at the bottom.

I took a large fries but i think the small is more than enough for two people as they pack it in the cup and add more in the bag. Definitely an abundant amount.

Service was quite fast and the staff was very friendly.
As for the restaurant's atmosphere it's as any fast food, nothing much to add there haha

If you plan on taking the food home, please bring some kind of container with you to put the fries in as it can get very very greasy in the paper bag and get oil all over your clothes like i did ( warning for the people that are just like me🤣)

Overall i ate very well and my boyfriemd loved his burger!

For reference, we both got the cheeseburger ( it's the most popular one)

Note: there are no meals (trios). Burgers, fries and drinks are all sold seperately.

I had a craving for a good old fashion burger. This is exactly what you are gonna find at Five Guys.
Their burgers taste like a real homemade burger with simple ingredients.
It is not healthy foood, its all comfort food. Their fries are delicious, probably one of the best fast food fries available.
The milkshake is good and thick, you can customize it with many different topping at no extra cost.

My recent visit to Five Guys McGill Street left me with mixed feelings! 🍔🍟🥤 The highlight of the meal was their delightful fries and lip-smacking milkshakes, which truly lived up to the restaurant's reputation. However, I have to say that the veggie burger I ordered was quite underwhelming. 😕

Let's start with the positives—the fries were outstanding! 🍟 Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were the perfect sidekick to our meal. And oh, those milkshakes! 🥤🤤 Creamy, rich, and full of flavor, they were simply divine. Five Guys definitely knows how to create mouthwatering sides and treats!

Now, onto the not-so-great parts. My friend and I were taken aback by the prices. 💸 While we expected to pay a bit more for quality, we both felt that it was a tad too expensive for a casual burger joint. The veggie burger, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment. 😔 It lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for and turned out to be quite bland.

One thing I have to mention is the A1 sauce, and it's a big no-no. 🚫 We decided to try it, thinking it would add some zing to the burger, but it was far from enjoyable. The taste was off, and it didn't complement the meal at all.

On a positive note, the restaurant's atmosphere was inviting with an American-style burger joint vibe. 🍔🇺🇸 The ambiance was lively, and the staff was friendly and efficient, making the dining experience pleasant overall.

While the quality of the ingredients used in the burgers was good, I couldn't help but feel that the overall pricing didn't quite match what was offered. It's essential to strike a balance between taste, portion sizes, and pricing, which, in this case, seemed a bit skewed.

Five Guys McGill Street excels in certain aspects, such as their delicious fries and mouthwatering milkshakes, as well as providing a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere. However, the veggie burger's lackluster flavor and the higher price point were notable downsides. For those who crave a true American-style burger experience, it might still be worth a visit, but for me and my friend, we left feeling slightly underwhelmed. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
