The school is not that bad but the students are horrible.
An ex-blgian here! I live the teacher and friends that I made along the way. Everyone is super nice and kind. And the school’s interior is amazing and magical. I feel that the teachers need to better understand students more as they do not listen to kids that often. THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE. Idk how they are doing now but from their Instagram page, it looks like teh kids are in good hands 💪🏼

Some people here are rude but some are nice and teachers here are passionate about teaching and there are some cool teachers. The school has a nice aesthetic kind of vibe towards some of the interactions we can go during our break. Overall its ok
The school is so-so. Some teachers are mad strict while some are TOO kind. When I say too I meant as in not caring about the noise of the class and more. The teacher I would say I like the most is Mdm Toh who was my Primary 5 and 6 teacher. She is very kind, caring, understanding and listening. It's almost like as if she took a degree in children's psychology. Best teacher. My MT teacher for p5 and p6 is also not bad. His name is Mr Koh and people say he is boring which is a little bit true but he is also cheerful and jokes around. The food is very good but a little pricy and the decorations are fire! Overall: Four stars.
Phoebe thinks that this school is okay, though some people seem unfriendly or rude. The teachers are okay, the food is nice, though Phoebe is afraid of western special stall spaghetti, as it has made me have a stomachache most times. Phoebe wishes for school to decrease price of food items.
I am very pleased and contented with BLGPS. It has Great Principals,teachers , support staff and even security guards. I love that teachers gave homework to my child as I can monitor the progress. BIG heart student care teachers too are always on the ball actively updating the app with children activity therefore I know my child are engage. Their security measure are very tight too! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

This school is bad, the teachers are selfish, ignorant, we were given a lot of homework everyday especially in p6, and the teacher would pick on you if you did something wrong, I had to walk up 5 levels of stair everyday, my teacher also didn't allow us to use lockers, the teachers always screamed at everyone for the simplest things. The cheese from the Western stall was not even cheese. I wish I wasn't in this school

I used to study here. It was honestly a good and mermorable time. Majority of the teachers can keep their patience and personally I think this is what makes a good school. Year heads and discipline master are in the majority which definitely is good. They have two lifts for people who have problems and I used to be one of them. I was in a wheelchair for PSLE and they were super caring. The teachers allowed me to pick whether I wanted a seperate room by myself only for or a room with my friends. Speaking of friends, my friends were incredibly welcoming and I think the other people who join will be welcoming too. Majority of the teachers listen to feedback from the kids and asks what they would want in the lesson. They also have prefects leading most of the programmes. One of which is the national programme. It is fully hosted by the prefects and the teachers are there only because they want to say something, not because they are worried. They have full of confidence in their kids and if the kids are feeling down, the teachers will cheer them up. They are also very rewarding, giving rewards for people/classes who have the right behaviour. They expanded on this last year, introducing champion classes which was a very cool project that will impact the kids in the long run. Definitely worth coming!

graduated in 2021. after i graduated, the school's facilities improved alot. teachers/staff members here are incredibly supportive and kind towards students.

I loved this school. Although the students there might be rowdy sometimes, they're still not bad and can be nice. I was in 6G of 2023 and my form teacher was the absolute best, he's very helpful and understanding. Even though I didn't really like him at the start of the year, now I see him as a father figure. It's hard to accept the fact that I have to forget about everyone here and just move on. 6 years, 6 whole years of making friends and meeting new teachers. Overall, I'm really thankful for my form teacher this year. Thank you, Mr Loo. Your the best! 😉❗
As I am a student from this school, I don’t recommend u to choose this school the teachers here are all biased and they only support girls. For example my English teacher dr Lee saw a boy homework and it is half way done and she scolded the boy and when she walked behind she saw a girls work and was completely not done and she didn’t scold the girl. Some more is that the cleaners are Soo rude if u accidentally spray water on the floor and the is a cleaner nearby he will put ur son/daughter shirt. I know as they have did this to me before and the teachers here are mostly bad and baised except some good teachers

Good stuff, lots of memories being detained and writing down hundreds of lines as punishment when I was there a little more than a decade ago. I even got a nice little palm strike with a cane once. But hey, the food was nice, and so was the layout at that time. Spent almost every recess in the library. The teachers (some) were pretty decent.
I studied here for 6 years and I enjoyed it sincerely. Honestly, it is an amazing school! The teachers there are great and very nice! School events are also very fun! Great facilities too! But even after 6 years, I still don’t know about some places in the school. Overall, amazing school for students nearby. However, as P6 student, you need to climb 6 levels to classroom. Wide range of CCAs but heard that Infocomm and Design and Innovation CCA getting merged. Canteen food is good too! (but I can’t say much cause I only buy from 2-3 stalls.) But canteen vendors nowadays here and there. All the teachers in the school are very polite and willing to listen to your problems as well. Some upper primary kids quite naughty though. Good discipline as well. I am going to secondary school in 2024 and will miss Westwood dearly.

very boring. The food choices in the canteen are very limited. and the toilets are damm smelly should do something about it. The uniforms are also very hot might get heatstroke.

my "friend" accused me of something terrible and victim blamed me, the principal took the other person's side and never bothered to even ask me about my side of the story. The only person who truly cared and asked me about my story is the counselor. She made me feel that atleast someone would hear me out and that they cared about me even the tiniest bit. I truly hope this school will take their time to listen to both sides of peoples storys and handle situations like mine professionally.

sttended this school 5 years ago, when i was in p1 there was this teacher "mr chua" or smthing who refused to let students use the restroom even tho we r basically kids. The student population is not friendly towards quiet kids and i got discriminated against for my bad english (migrated from china). canteen food is meh, lessons are meh. good memories but unlikely to recommend

This school is great. Teachers there are nice and friendly! One thing I would change is definitely the food. This school allows students to take the initiative to plan events and more. inspires students to do their best and teachers are always there to lend a helping hand. Once a laker, always a laker. This school ensures all students are leaders, even if they aren't prefects (for instance) this is extremely important in building children's character. :) Overall, amazing school and is great!
The location of Shuqun Primary School is really convenient as it is within walking distance from the nearest bus stop and the Lakeside MRT station.

One of the more popular schools in Jurong West. Great environment and the teachers are caring and responsible. I would highly recommend you to enrol your child to Shu Qun. I have family members who studied here and rave about the school.
Very popular school in Jurong area , Mostly the P1 seats are filled in citizen creteria itself , foreigners won't get successful school registration due to its high demand. Very nice school admintration and school teachers are good.

I got bullied there, the school classroom is very high. Many rude teachers, many rude students they insulted me by calling me fat and ugly. Many homework and the math teachers are not very understanding. Recommend to not let your kids go there I have experience it.

But one thing i dislike from the school was the staff. There was this time a teacher cursed during her class. And once- i had a classmate who was screamed at by the teacher for not having a Science Wb because it was sold out everywhere. Honestly, i dont think that was her fault that it was sold out. Once, i got called “Useless” and “Horrible” by a teacher for not bringing my HandBook. I felt very uncomfortable and sad. I dont think its fair that my parents paid $500 every month and i get treated miserably. There was alot of bad stuff that teachers did. One of the teachers Threw my classmates book out of the class after she reprimanded her to not read it, but the problem was that my classmate couldn’t speak english. The only thing that’s bringing me to school was the friends there, they were incredible! The food selection there was very limited, especially for muslim students. Most of the food there were not Halal. During recess, After Covid-19 Struck, Where it wasnt serious anymore, we were allowed to play sports like soccer, Basketball etc. But you had to bring your own sports ball even through they had plenty of it. When i was in Primary 3, I saw my friend getting slapped by a teacher for washing his hand at the water refiller, i know washing your hand there is a very silly thing to do, but slapping a child isnt. One of the teachers threw a basketball at a student as a “punishment” during physical education . Overall, the school isn’t really bad. Its the staff who are. This school really made me sad, stressed and other things due to the pressure the teachers gave. But what can i say? maybe it has changed, cause it was in the past. Hopefully they hire better teachers!

My child has been in lakeside and he graduated with flying colours. the teachers there were all nice and understanding. He always missed lakeside and wished that he could go back time to lakeside with the lakeside family. As he said, once a laker, always a laker. I am a lakeside student and now my son is a laker. Lakeside had gave me and my child a great life experience and I really appreciate them.
Lakeside is amazing and fun I really had great life at lakeside, teachers there are literally so so nice especially Mdm Lin lan. she's a beautiful and friendly teacher with a warm and soft heart.
Your students were incapable of expressing basic courteous behaviour on Bus 243W today. No spacial awareness (I was shoved and barged into multiple times) and very noisy
What can i complain about as my children are studying there! But scary part is when dropping off and picking up children, where loads of cars jam up the road just like other schools. Hahahha
The school is good, the facilities are very good but they need to be used more frequently, students are just stuck in class everyday from 7.30am to 1.30am . subjects are quite boring until p5. most teachers are either kind or very cool but the rest are too strict. over the school is populer and good amongst the jurong neighbourhood but the school itself isnt that great

The teachers here are so unfair , they have favourites and chooses there favourite students for awards although they don't deserve it. If you are unlucky, some teachers are lazy and don't even mark their student's work properly sometimes, the students even need to tell the teacher what they did wrong.

Too much activities that involves parents to so called 'bond' with child. We don't need the school to help us bond with them. We néed them to teach our children the curriculum.
Expected children to attend extra classes for PSLE June holidays but was given art and craft projects instead. Guess the teachers needed a long break.
Younger pupils are also expected to do homework on PowerPoint. Which they assumed we all have the a Microsoft licence. Which also means, we must sit down and finish the homework with the children. Which child knows PowerPoint by heart?
No choice but to send my kids here due to distance.

Never regrets being in this school. I really like Yuhua Primary School. The lessons was very interesting. My marks in every exams improved a lot! The school principal is also very thoughtful, there is 2 lifts for the teachers and the injured students. The school is really very amazing, the students and teachers are very kind and they are willing to help anytime, anywhere.
There are 3 gardens in the school, butterfly garden, music garden and science garden. Music garden helps us to discover our weakness and strength in music, it also makes us discover the different types of instruments. Science garden is used for Art, Science... lesson. There are different types of plants there. There is even a pond and waterfall in the garden!!! In butterfly garden there is different kinds of butterfly, it is also used for Science and English lessons. We can plant vegetables when we are in Primary 3.
In the school, there is a art corner for us to look at other people's artwork. We can also give some comments to it. There's also a study tables near the basketball court. The tables are for students to revise their work. The teachers will also use it to help the students in their weak subjects.
Beside the general office, there is a wall with the history of the school. Students can learn the history while waiting for their friends to come out of the offices.
Even though, Yuhua is not the best school in SG but the school always strive the students to excellent. One of the students in PSLE got 280+ and went to a top few secondary school. I want to thank Yuhua for giving me a fun experience.

Was in Class 8E1😅The field was big,used to catch grasshoppers.Now it looks small.The main hall was on the left,below it, was the canteen.Nasi Lemak was 30cents,drinks was 10cents.Used to play marbles/soccer behind ground classrooms.A small garden was created a year or two before, I left.

Studied in this school. Even with all the difficult homework and being flooded by homework, teachers are there to help you and can definitely say this school thought me my moral and values well. Parents if you wish for a primary school that is good you should definitely let your child to study in this school. Worth every minute of my time there :).

This year is my daughter final primary 6 level in this awesome school. No regret sending your precious kids to this school, as all teachers and admin staffs is all so helpful, friendly, and excellent👍👍👍 Prefect 👍👍👍

This is my pri school and it is the best.The school made me improved academically and behaviourally and I'm proud to be Juying student.

This is my school.I prefer this school as all of the teachers are teaching all of us well.The stratergies they teach us are very useful.And because of that i had improved in my exam.
Kind and understanding teachers.Staff there are reliable and kind towards students.Good place for social interaction.Not to mention,there is air-conditioned rooms on the 3rd floor.The food there served is one of the best I've ever tasted.I can't say everybody likes here,but it has my best moments so far!
I am a resident here.. My house is just near with the school. There is a playground infront of my house block. After school,the kids will play there and make so much noise shouting. I feel really so uncomfortable

I was there from year 199+ (cant remember exactly) now i was pregnant and suddenly craving the malay aunty stall that sell set lunch set.. Dunnoe where to find that aunty.. Omg.. Pls help if anyone knows..
This primary school is my daughters primary school.She is now primary 4 in the year of 2014.She likes this school because there is a lot of outdoor activities at Singapore or other countries.Primary 1 or 2 will go to the Singapore Zoo's，primary 3 is swimming，primary 4 is going to Malaka trip and stay near the hotel for 1 days.Primary 5 and 6 will have camping trip at Siingapore.When you go to camping trip at primary 6，there is 1 activities called Dragonboat.So please come and join and choose this school.
This is my school and it has teachers that are very kind and helpful. It recently changed the principal. It also has 2 vice-principals. The new principal has added a few enrichment programmes so we could learn more.
