Come here for the dogs to enjoy fresh air and lots of interesting smells. They love it and we humans love the vibe of this area too. Dogs and kids love the sand bar on the river here.
We really love this beautiful place. It's an amazing place to have a little picnic and to watch the sunset with your loved ones 💖

I really love how beautiful this place is, when the water level is low, you can walk to some distance.
Walter Point Reserve is a picturesque area located along the Swan River in Western Australia. It offers stunning views of the river and its surrounding natural landscape. The reserve is known for its lush greenery, including grassy areas and trees, providing a peaceful setting for picnics, leisurely walks, or simply enjoying the scenic beauty. Visitors can often spot various bird species along the riverbank, adding to the area's charm. Walter Point Reserve is a popular spot for outdoor recreation and relaxation, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Also, it is excellent in fishing and crabbing opportunities. The reserve's tranquil setting and abundant marine life make it a favorite destination for fishing and crabbing enthusiasts alike, adding to its allure as a natural haven along the Swan River. It is also distinguished by the presence of a sandbar, which extends into the Swan River, offering a unique feature for visitors to explore. This sandy stretch adds to the scenic beauty of the reserve and provides an excellent spot for relaxation or recreational activities such as beachcombing and sunbathing. The sandbar also creates a shallow area in the river, making it ideal for wading or cooling off on hot days. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply looking to soak in the serene surroundings, the sandbar at Walter Point Reserve offers an additional dimension to the natural beauty of this picturesque destination.
Nice quiet beach away from the busyness of the other popular beaches. Lovely space to have a birthday party or just meet up with friends.

In a beautiful part of the Swan river. There’s lots of activities to do such as boating fishing, swimming or even riding the big pedal swan boats. Can get busy on the weekends and might even be difficult to find a park but well with the effort.

Beautiful spot, great for cliff jumping! You can see dolphins, jellyfish, swans, and more! Apparently it’s a popular breeding area for bull sharks but we didn’t see any. Lovely view. Definitely would recommend!

There is plenty of room for everyone. A lovely area for a picnic, BBQ, or if you prefer to sit and relax at the cafe.
There's a playground for the kids, bathroom facilities, all of this right on the river.
Great place to walk and admire sunsets.

Really gives a soothing calm relax feeling. I highly recommend visiting this place. It has long walking and cycling area . Fishing too can be done here as there is a jetty extended into the water.
Beautiful spot to chill out and even watch the dolphins swimming by
Absolutely wonderful. The baths are a great touch for kids. Hard to choose, walk to Point Walter or to Zephyrs hard choice. Peaceful, natural, great for a picnic, swim or walk a coffee van would be good, but hey, this area offers so much tranquillity who needs coffee ?

Such a beautiful place, shame it is not dog friendly, but there is a dog beach located not too far down the road. There isn't much parking right out at the Jetty but plenty to be had up on the side of Honour Ave. Looks to get pretty busy on good weathered weekends.

A fantastic place to start a walk.
The fenced track alongside the river is well maintained with areas you can enter to get to the waters edge.
Lovely places to sit relax and watch the world go by.

This place has beautiful views, lovely sea breeze and a lot of picnic areas. Plenty of parking available. People come here for boating and fishing. My favourite part of this place is that there is a narrow path in the river which is hardly visible. From a distance it looks like you are walking on the river. In dry seasons this path goes all the way to a very tiny island. Amazing experience.
Great views. Great running and walking path along the river. Educational and great for children.

Such a lovely place for fishing, swimming, and a nice walk. How crystal clear the water was. You can see small fish through it. Definitely wanna make another visit soon and would love to introduce here to friends visiting Perth.
