We rode this trail years ago when it was crushed stone. Now it's paved, great improvement.

Great ride , i love this trail !

in my expert opinion, the nicer end of the bike trail. generally less crowded, parking is plentiful, and is in a nicer looking area (downtown ayer is lovely).

Beautiful rail trail for biking and walking that goes through Ayer, Groton, Pepperell and Nashua. Some nice off-roads that you can take near the Nashua River as well.

Great place to ride bike and hike. I will update with more pictures.

Great day of riding with my sister from Connecticut! They've done a lot of work on this trail. As far as the frost heaves, still some to be fixed but all in all much better than last year! Thank you to those hard workers that take care of our trails!

My lunchtime rides on the Nashua rail trail are literally the only thing that have kept me sane since I took a job in Shirley MA five years ago

You can park here for free if you are using the rail trail. There are outdoor spaces and covered spaces. The adjacent paved trail is in three sections, all connected. I park here to ride my bike to Groton by their library. I refer to this as the 'easy' ride. Stronger riders could continue all the way to Pepperell and on to Nashua.
