Short but well-maintained walk. Watch out for bikers, though. We had a few close calls with speedy trail riders.

Great place to walk. Parking can sometimes be crazy but there are two lots. There are plenty of benches to sit along the way. Security cameras are in place so I feel safe. They keep the grounds nicely kept.
Very nice park to come to. You have all age kid friendly playground tennis courts, basketball courts, and 2 dog parks.. handicap too.

This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness nature offers us. It's a great place to have a picnic. Have been coming here for 5 years now.

A very well maintained, clean path around the reservoir. No hills, very easy walking of around 1.5-1.6 miles. Lots of places to sit along the way, water and baggies to clean up after dogs provided, plenty of parking and well landscaped grounds. Will definitely go back.

The owners of the dogs that come to this park are rude, they let their dogs come here before it’s open and they just bark nonstop. This is a dog park, not a let your dog bark all morning park. I can’t believe at the lack of control that people have for their nonstop barking dog. We live right near it and it is the most horrible thing to happen in this neighborhood. Lack of sleep, so much noise and it just gets worse. Imagine trying to sleep in Sunday morning just to hear 10 dogs not getting along. I am forced to wake up at 6:30 AM daily. Very nice job Brick NJ

This used to be a great trail, but in the past year, it has quickly become overrun by ATVs and dirt bikes, which are prohibited. They are dangerous and are also doing a ton of damage to the trail.
Great playground with 2 sections, 1 for bigger kids 1 for younger kids
Very nice small park on the water with beautiful views, nice bathrooms, fishing, boating, and a great playground for the kids.

The park is lovely but the dog park section could use some benches/picnic tables. Also the grounds are very muddy most of the time.

Great slides and decent size. Perfect for summer with the breeze coming off the water, but very cold in the winter, so bring your hat and gloves!

Very nice trail I always forget about. Pretty empty. No flooding even though many other trails in the area are flooded.
Very nice park and the atmosphere is also perfect. The dog park is amazing my dog tank went there and had a lot of fun.

Nice little bayfront park that's quiet and peaceful.
Awesome park settled right behind an elementary school. Nobody else was there when we were, but my daughter had a blast. Will definitely come back when we're in the area again.

Nice area to get your steps in and go for a walk .plenty of park benches to just sit by the water.
They have a couple of locations around the reservoir where you can even go fishing
Nice view but pricey ramp for the area
Great park. Lots of area to fish and crab and has restrooms. The other side has swings and slides for the kids. Beautiful view of the bay and boats going by.
Beautiful park. We were participating in the farmers market with many other great vendors and we will be back November 18th for the final market of the year

It has an Electric vehicle charging station, solar charger station and even places for adult to sit and swing on! It was very hot so there’s no one in the park but it perfect for pictures and date at the side of the water! There are section great for 2-5 5-8 and there are section more challenging for 9-12 years old. This is an well rounded all age park! Great for picnic as there are tables for picnic stations as well. At least 2 sets of restrooms! Things just seems rusted and most musical parts don’t work at all. But all the base are very solidly made despite how long this has been built. Would recommend and come again!
Good view, crabbing fishing
Came here for fishing and chilling. There's a lot of people that comes and goes. Nice area to hang out. There are tables for families to have a nice picnic. Definitely recommended!
This park is wonderful. The playground is very nice and well kept. They have many options for small and bigger kids. Restrooms are clean. The park overlooks a beach area which is beautiful. Through summer they have the farmers market on Saturdays which is really nice. Great place to pack a picnic they have tables. Very enjoyable area kids are always happy when we come to this park.

Such a beautiful place there is a lot of picnic tables and the park is so much fun then you have the grass field great to play some soccer and then comes the beautiful beach kids loved it, then comes the the best part the beautiful sunset so beautiful to watch as the day goes by.
We love coming here to do lots of different things! Crabbing and fishing at the pier under the bridge is lots of fun and usually pretty good! It's nice and big so lots of people can be there at once. The park is kept very clean and maintained meticulously. There are lots of people casually walking, dropping in their boats, and hanging out. A wonderful place for the family.

They also have a summer concert series set for Wednesday's in August, which we need to attend to get the full experience but seem to be a lot of fun!!

This is a great hidden gem. The place has a beach and playground for kids. The highlight is the fishing fiers. It is a great place for crabbing and fishing. A great place to bring your family. Just buy some chicken drums, tie them on a long string about 25', drop the chicken in the water and leave it. Pull them up slowly occasionally to check, if there is crabs, scoop them up with a net while the crab is close to the surface of the water. Make sure your net is extra long at least 15'. Also make sure you only keep crabs that is meeting the size requirements, which is 5" end to end.

Pretty nice trail to get a quick hike in. It’s also a trail for bikers and has a nice path.

I went after a day of rain, and it was still very walkable. Not to muddy.
Great park!!
Nice playground
Open fields
Relaxing beach
Good place to go crabbing and fishing. Parking very close and there is nice bathrooms by the parking lot

A large quiet Park, he won't bump into a lot of people here especially during the week. Very pleasant old-growth trees, nice feeling to it. It'll be cool most days even when it's hot out.
Nice park for familys with toddlers and baby swings. Also a swing for a handicapped child or young adult. Big ball park. And basketball courts too. Only complaint the restrooms were closed on Sunday at 5pm. Good recycling and trash cans throughout.
Beautiful place to go with small Kids or Alone. Yea, there's a very nice sized park but..
The views are just Amazing! Practically any time of day.
From the huge bridge up close and personal, the boats and wave-runners are going by making waves. Enjoyable for all ages really,
and a super nice place to go hang for a bit. 🌤 🏞 🌤

Nice little urban gem. No blue rocket/porta-john. Limited parking. Several picnic tables. Quiet even though in the middle of town. Unimproved roads and single track dirt trails. Good for jogging if you don't mind looping to get distance in. Pet friendly (*waste bags available at trail head). Trails are well groomed. No technical experience needed as trails are mostly flat. Some standing water and boggy areas.

Beautiful, simple 1.65 mile lap around a reservoir. Usually not too crowded.

Only downside would be that there are often a lot of geese from late spring to early fall. They usually mind their own business but can sometimes stay on the path. (And their poop will be everywhere 😮)
Always a great experience. During the warm months, plenty of areas to crab. The playground at the far end of the entrance is great for the kids. The bathrooms are next to the parking lot and are well maintained year round. The Mantoloking Bridge is accessible by following the pathway that leads from the park parking lot to the underpass, which brings you to the sidewalk for the bridge. If you walk over the bridge, the beach access is just across the main street.
Nice park.. Granddaughter and I enjoyed our time here.

Wonderful park! The photos folks have uploaded here really don’t do it justice. There’s a great big playground, beach, fishing dock, field, and beautiful views of the bay. And the Saturday morning farmers market is huge, high-quality, and the produce is actually quite affordable for the most part.

I bike ride here a lot when I want to go somewhere close to home. Be careful if you ride at night, I encountered a coyote once, just as it was getting dark. If something in the woods starts barking at you, the coyotes want you to leave.
Hidden away in the Lake Riviera portion of Brick Township is a picturesque park that allows residents and travellers alike a place to enjoy the township's tranquil atmosphere. Featuring a sizable playground for kids, a pavilion-covered bench area, two basketball courts, a pier for fishing and a launching area for small watercraft (boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.), Lake Riviera Park is highly recommended for any outdoor activities in Brick.

Just be careful with your steps in the fields or on the beach area, which are sometimes populated by the local bird life..

Actual Rating: 4.5/5

The Brick Reservoir is a beautiful place to walk or run. They have a 1.6 mile trail that I walk with my dog every day. It's a great place for dogs to make new friends. The water view is so peaceful and the reservoir is very well maintained and they have workers constantly maintaining the landscaping. One time during my walk with my dog, we got caught in a surprise storm and it was raining heavy. A worker came in his go cart and gave me and my dog a ride back to our car. How nice was that! They have gazeboes and benches around the path for you to sit and relax. There are water coolers along the path and well-lit lamps for your evening walk. Just beautiful!

This is not really a bike path or at least not one marked well enough to be clear. It seemed more like a nature walk with a few off shoot trails. But then markings stopped and we had to give up and go back. Not recommended if you want to get a decent ride in.
Nice clean park with nice walking trail

Nice place except for the neighborhood punks that pick on little kids and have horrific language. lots of parents have had issues with them and have had to call the police as long as they aren't there it's a very nice place just keep a look out for a group of middle school/ hs age boys on bikes up to no good.

Its got a great playground but there are not enough gates, or fencing like most parks have, to help keep the little runners in. I'm a shadow to my son with autism, because in a matter of seconds he can run to any number of escape routes. In fact there's more ope info than there are closures. Otherwise it's a great little park amd we love to go here. But safety is huge for me. Yes it's always my responsibility to watch my son, but for how close the park is to the parking lot, I feel that it should have one opening and a gate all the way around. It has three opening just on the side facing the parking lot. Just beware. If you have a runner, thus may not be the park for you. Matching bridge park is much more secure, but has no swings.

Park was ok. It is nice that it is fully enclosed and has trees for shade. Section for small and bigger dogs separated. My favorite thing about it was that it had a refillable water station. That said, I have been to better and nicer parks which is why I only rated it a 3.

Great little wildlife area, feels like a small remote wilderness even though it is in the middle of a suburban town. Reminded me of Wharton State Forest with the sandy trails and pine needles!
What a great hidden gem! Wide high path, gravel and dirt bed. No water on path. It's a magical place hidden between neighborhoods, a park, a highschool and roads. Great parking area.

As other reveiewers have noted, this is a well maintained trail...but it is very short. The main trail is only about 2 miles long, round trip. I was able to get my bike ride up to about 5 - 6 miles, in total, by taking the branches from the main trail that led to a nearby park and the high school. It's a good place to ride if the trail is local to you, or if you are taking young family members out for a bike ride.
My kids love this park. Could use a porta potty though.
Nice little local park here in Brick New Jersey

So clean it's nearly spotless. There are two small playground areas, one for ages 2-5, and one for ages 5-12. And I mean "small" as in two play apparatuses in the younger one, and four in the older one.

There are two basketball courts next to these. Extremely clean here too.

There is a BIG field outside of this area, probably 100-150 yards just eyeballing it, where your kids can burn some energy. A baseball field sits in the corner, and a paved walking path runs from the playground all the way around this field and back.

Plenty of benches to sit at, both inside the play areas, and around the paved brick walkway between them.

No restrooms here.

Great spot to bring the family. They have 2 separate play areas and 2 full sized basketball courts. Lots of grass area that backs up to hiking trail.
PARK is AMAZING !!! So clean and well taken care of. My 4yr old for playing and riding scooter as my 15 Yr old loves it for a workout !
I love this little park! The playgrounds are great for different age groups and the whole park is very cute. I do wish it had a few more features, like maybe a picnic table or two and a shaded area to take a break from the sun. My little one loves playing here so we visit often.
