My wife found this place and we were super excited to visit. It is about an hour drive for us, but we love checking out new parks, especially dog friendly with water! There is a designated dog beach that is just small enough, yet just big enough, not to mention the miles and miles of trails to walk!

Was a very good experience. Was there for a concert. Really enjoyed it.

Nice to look at the water, but not much else there. You are in walking distance to a bunch of restaurants.

Lovely park, lots of paved trails for bike rides and walking. There are a lot of shaded areas, too, and beautiful picnic areas. The sculpture garden was also beautiful.

This is a great place to go to quiet your brain. There are several paved hiking trails through lovely wooded and waterfront areas. There are many species of wild animals, deer, foxes, blue herons, jellyfish, and more. You can't get too close to them, but if you're very careful, you can get to photo range. (I took these pictures with my cell phone)
There is a fishing area, a dog park and a dog beach, picnic areas and an area where they have concerts in the summer.
It's a great place to get away from it all.

Deeeeep breath. That's what it's like. Gorgeous overlook of local waters - well maintained walking/jogging and cycling paths. People are friendly and everything is beautifully kept up regardless of the season. Thank you to all the rangers, employees and volunteers for keeping this place so beautiful.

Annapolis Clarion Prayer for the City. Mrs. Terry Henson lead us on a weeks long experience to cover the City of Annapolis is prayer. This has been an exciting and spirit lead week..

Wonderful, safe, clean, well maintained park for families! There's a small entrance fee. Walk for miles in beautiful woods with very few invasive species, filled with deer in August. Bring a basket for lunch at the multitude of picnic tables and playgrounds. Rent a kayak or SUP, Stand up panel board with Capital Sup and paddle the bay. The bay water is hot, like bathwater, and full of stinging nettles. ( jellies ).Or just sit and watch the sunset. During summer, enjoy outdoor concerts and composting demonstrations. Reservations needed for pavilions. Dog friendly. Did I mention a dog park and dog beach?Beautiful gardens near the visitors center. No swimming for humans. The Visitors center closes at 4pm. A few scattered port-a-potties. I just can't help but wonder where are all the birds? Paved walking and biking paths.

👍

Beautiful little spot in Annapolis.
I love walking my dogs here and admiring the scenery and wildlife.

Great place for a refreshing mood and a relaxed mind, for you alone, with your friends, and your family.

Earth Day - Helping to clean the trails from litter. Beautiful view of the river. Lots of shade on the wide paths. Roadways are also used by people riding bikes. There are several areas to have a picnic. There is a central building with activities inside and outside. Dogs are allowed, but they must be on a leash. There are canoes to rent as well.
They had billy goats 🐐 from Kinder Farm and Adopt-a-Pet personnel with a few dogs to adopt.
Very well kept! There were food trucks there that day. Reasonably priced.

Had a great mums day out hiking with the children. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Entrance is $6 per vehicle (card or cash). Plenty of outdoor space to walk, hike, play, have a picnic etc. Had my maternity photoshoot here a few years ago. Great places to take pictures. Playground was through enjoyed by all 5 children in group (aged 2-7 yrs).

A nice park with all the strange hyper governmental regulations for children's playground.

Looks nice, but wasn't allowed in.

Large fenced playground with some natural shade. Equipment for climbing, slides and swings.

Private park open only to neighborhood residents; no trespassing otherwise.

A great little playground for my tiny daughter. We played on the swings and climbed the structure and then chased a couple of very nice dogs around for 30 minutes. The boating club set up for their yearly party. A great local resource.

Very simple park. Just a table and a few benches. Nothing special, but clean and pretty.

Small cute and beautifully landscaped waterfront park. We had a nice picnic and even got to see jellyfish in the water!

Ok area to catch the sunrise. Earlier views of the sun were blocked by the Naval Academy (which there's no way getting around that), so just be thankful and take in what mother nature is giving you. A few early birds on the pier, fishing, and a few like-minded photographers, who are super friendly.

This is one of my families go-to locations for relaxing and entertainment. We go here at least once a week during the spring, summer and fall. Plenty of places to sit and listen to the water and people enjoy the location. Music performers frequent this location. Highly recommend and we always find parking pretty quick. Kilwins ice cream is close by and our families favorite. Free after 7:30pm but check parking signs.

Nice quiet spot to walk in the shade. There are some benches if you want to eat outside. There is a small parking lot near Taylor Avenue and Rowe Boulevard.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years and this is the best park it's clean beautiful and always well kept

AWESOME

This park, benches and scenery have contributed to my quiet and solace for years. What a treat to live just down the street! We’re you to need a place to meditate or paint, you won’t find better anywhere.

Nice little garden, Maps might not have the right location though, this is on the property of the Maryland Judiciary complex, with the entrance at 580 Taylor avenue

Small park in Annapolis - has baskeball courts, playground and swings.

The garden was not well-maintained during the pandemic. It may look nicer with spring blooms, but it is not worth driving out to see the garden in the summer.

Always fun clean and safe fun

Not a big park and no restrooms.

There is nothing like a neighborhood park.

Very nice little park

Great community pier and water craft storage available to Members and guests of the Admiral Heights Community

Part of history. I grew up in Parole

Unfortunately the garden is not well taken care of. Went with family and it was just not a good experience.

Small and perfect for a small group of children. The equipment is like a ship. Also there are b basketball courts.

We came to Annapolis from Baltimore to sightsee and have a date night. Susan Campbell Park is located in the heart of Annapolis. We went to one of the restaurants and then walked to the docks and on Main Street to checkout some stores. The park/city docks have benches to sit on. There are newspaper machines too. Cobblestone walkway creates part of the historic feel but beware you can trip easily since it is not flat/even and some of them are coming up. There are bathrooms and showers for boaters nearby. They have parking but it can be a bit tight – some of it is free while others are metered. We hung out a while just looking at the water and people-watching. Great area for people watching if you are into that. We did not partake in getting the famous ice cream nearby (Storm Brothers) since we were still full from dinner but it is a popular place. The Naval Academy is nearby as well if you want to visit that but check the times. It is very beautiful at the docks/park. Main Street has a ton of different restaurants, dessert/ice cream shops, services like real estate, shopping such as spices, clothing, books, Maryland souvenirs, beach themed items, gifts, and specialty shops. I would definitely recommend going to the park/city dock and main street. It is great if you are by yourself, with friends or family, or a date night.

Great for young kiddos and older ones that want to play basketball or do something else on the court. Fully fenced which is great and new playground equipment. Our kiddos love doing scooters there too.

Excellent place to spend the day, but bring your wallet; don’t expect it to get you’s very far either, everything is overpriced...

Nice street park with a dinghy dock, benches, trash can and dog waste bags.

Very picturesque little park with a bench and a dock.

Very nice playground.

Safe and fun place for little one to play! Fenced in playground 😊

Great neighborhood park with dock and kayak launch. Very peaceful and beautiful

It's a really great public park. Good for dog walking and playing fetch with your dog. Also you can catch lots of fish

There is a great bench to sit down and rest a little bit while looking at the bay. Don’t miss the chance to write in the Leon Wolf Journal, a lovely community notebook you can find beneath the seat.

My only interest in this park is for bird watching. The flowers are beautiful and well maintained, but it's quite a small park in a busy government park, and there's many places to see flowers.
You can actually do quite well here during migration, especially on weekends and holidays when parking is easy and there's no one else in the park. There was a very reliable Red Shouldered Hawk nest here for a while, but the tree had to be removed.

Absolute perfect place to watch the sunrise. You'll often see students from St. Johns, people in photo clubs, and other photographers. Myself included. I wouldn't suggest taking food if you want peace though. Plenty of the local DTA ducks will aggressively approach you for a bite or two, or everything you have! Literally there's no "ducking" them within that twenty five yard perimeter. I'd stick to coffee or tea.
You can see from time to time; boats docked from all over the world. Including New Zealand. Not often are there people passed out, whether homeless, or just sleeping off the excessive drinking.
All depending on when you visit, you might be fortunate enough to catch members of our local Naval Academy as they're initiated.
Keep your eye's peeled for huge blue heron that often hang out around the docks before sun breaks. Lighting is good and there's usually joggers passing through, or crabbers on the opposite side of the docks "chicken necking" and occasionally that cute couple experiencing their first or one of many Annapolis City sunrises... It's certainly a must do if you're in town.

Great neighborhood boat ramp!

It's a basketball court.

Pretty view, street parking, bench, trash can, it is small but beautiful.

Beautiful place to rest and view the different boats and yachts after spending time walking and shopping on main street. If you want a fun boat tour, Watermark Tours operates right off this park also. Gets kind of busy with school field trips and tourists though.

I just went earlier today - It was about 20 degrees (Fahrenheit, as it is the middle of December), and despite the wintery look it really was a gorgeous little nature walk. The gift shop is small, and there's not much on offer, but it seems to be a typically underfunded little touristy area - It'd be great to do lunch and then sit out on the benches and look at the ponds when the weather is warmer.

Lovely little garden with a beautiful area to walk sit.

The gardens are very well maintained by an under served, part-time staff. Enjoy a walking tour with Lisa S. to learn all about the amazing variety of habitats our lovely state has!
