Pleasant views and good fishing on offer. I don't recommend angling alone as a few supposed members of the local club were trying to intimidate other anglers off the lake. Day tickets are available but the place can get busy from around lunch time. Parking is free but, again, can fill up fast.

Nice place to visit for all the family, Small car park, can get a little muddy if it’s been raining, If you follow the path around there is a cafe at the other end, and another car park, quite a few benches to sit on, very nice all year round, it can get busy at peak times in the summer.

Quiet, you wouldn't know that you were so close to urban areas. Swans, geese and ducks patrol the lake. Car park is close by and it's only a short walk to Daisy Nook visitor centre where there is more parking.
