Love it but get yourself a map or you will end up in Belmont State Park like I did. Great walk, sadly alot of cyclist use the same trails so you have to be careful. Also alot of e bike are in the trails which kind of takes away from enjoying the nature walk.

Love the park. Love the overcrowded craft fair! Just putting this out there.... Do you know who made these Grinch cutouts? I'd love to get one.
Beautiful will kept park, great walking paths and trails, but dirt/gravel so you need a jogging stroller, a regular stroller is very bumpy. Great for dogs and bikes.

Beautiful park to see the magnificent water falls, ducks, swans and other wildlife. Nice walk around. They have information about the fish migration near the water falls.

It’s a great place for a photo shoot and it’s a great place to fish and play at the park.

I've taken my mom and aunt for a walk around this park twice and both times they enjoyed it. They are much older and due to the beautiful atmosphere of the park they didn't even realize we had walked about 4miles. They love the park now.

My grandfather took me and our dogs here when I was a kid, in the '70s. We'd feed the ducks & geese back then. It holds immensely warm memories for me. I miss Poppy, I miss the dogs. Such a beautiful place. I'm thrilled to see how well it has been kept up.
Beautiful scenery and excellent trails for walking or bike riding! Love it!!

Beautiful pond! A real hidden gem, so nice to stop for a break during our bike ride along the path and take in the beauty nature has to offer at Southards Pond!
Perfect trails for an outdoor run. Between the trees and the water, it's very peaceful.
We loved Argyle Park as the centerpoint to our day trip to Babylon. The pond itself is beautiful with lots of cygnets and goslings. Theres also a lovely floral garden outdoor seating in the front. The hike up to Sounthends Pond was also lovely, wooded, and with benches at the Pond and lots of animals to try to spot (frogs, turtles, carp, smaller fish, and various birds). 10/10 would do again!

Very beautiful park for walking and relaxing. Free parking lot but not a lot of space for parking, you would have to wait a little to get a parking spot.
Great courts near brook. Pleasant surroundings
Needs more love, maintenance and beautification

Beautiful local park. The cherry blossom trees this time of year are so pretty! There's a little pond and waking trail an we love that its dog friendly! The trail loops around the pond and its a little less than a mile.

Nice easy walk, good seating and wonderful bird watching. The great blue heron sat motionless for about an hour, the ospreys were diving for fish and the birds were merrily chirping in the trees.
Easy parking for Southards Park trails. I go and take my dog with me to walk around and it's a convenient place to park. Sometimes it can be filled, especially if it's a weekend given there playground and tennis courts right there. There are signs, but definitely beware of parking after sunset. Even just after sunset. I have been given a warning by a village officer.
Missing you Brother Every Day
Great place to walk (including with dog), run, bike, horseride, even fish. It is a six mile round trip from the parking lot up to and around the lake at Belmont Lake State Park. Take in the natural beauty in any season and keep your eyes open for a screech owl roosting in the day! A real gem in our Long Island backyard.

Absolutely beautiful foliage at this time of the year. This hidden gem is between Belmont Lake State Park and Argyle Pond, so many people have missed it. This tiny little park is beautiful, dogs friendly and the trails are easy to walk. You may need to share the path with horses if you are luck to see one. Limited Parking spaces are on the south end of the park.
Love going to this park. There's parking all around that you can find. The easiest spot would be next to the garden store. There's cool signs describing the wildlife here, so I think it'd be a nice spot to take young ones. They just did a country fair here this past weekend that we really enjoyed.
It's not a bad little park and close to home. The trails are right near the park if u wanted to go for a nature walk.
Every time that I go to the park I say hi to all those people's memories. A mere bench it's a memory of a father, mother, family member or a friend. Thanks for this great gift so we can seat and relax
Beautiful trails and animals. As I was walking I saw this beautiful fox
