Nice to have somewhere GREEN to walk. 3 parks in the area, Ed Hines, Rouge, Parkland & ?? I think a 4th park, can't think of the name... All very clean, no trash tossed about..
This was my first THS alumni annual picnic June 11 th It was a nice time. It anyone didn't have a good time I didn't see it. The food was good.
The family picnic was great. The patriarch picked a good spot.
This my park. The realest. It got a river, swings, and a playground for the kids. It's really pretty at sunset, too.
2½ stars, really. Below average park for Hines drive.
Picnic tables and shelters, wildlife, sports areas, walking and biking trails, but be aware this is a natural flood plane and often closes following sizeable or fast rain storms. Some indoor bathrooms. County sheriff does patrol the parkway. Long, winding roadway. Holiday lightfest in the winter. Playgrounds, charity walks, sledding, boating, and more.

Great place to come with lots of open space. A kids’ playground and a little shelter area.
Parkland Park is a sprawling Dearborn Heights park. The main points of focus are the youth fields for football, soccer and tennis courts. There is ample parking, pavilion area along with BBQs and an indoor bathroom. You’ll often find many people walking or running the park as well. Come visit Parkland Park.

Parkland Recreation Area in Hines Park is an inviting space fitting for children playing on the playground, baseball field, woods and bikers path give people so much to do. Additionally there is parking and barbecues available for folks looking to cookout. Swing on by and enjoy.
Helms Haven Recreation Area is a conveniently located park in West Dearborn. They offer a softball diamond, playscape, picnic shelter and plenty of parking. There are nearby party stores for those in need of last minute supplies, as well as cement trails in both directions that goes for 15-20 miles west in Hines, and about 5 east to Michigan Ave. Great for reunions, parties or a rest in the park.
This area of Hines Park is great and not too busy. I've used the very large Pavilion for parties had games at the ball field and also take my dog there to run around. There is also a children's playground area and a restroom.
Nice little park. I think 2nd level slide is not very safe for little kids.
Would’ve given five stars but there’s a lot of trash around the playground area I feel that they could be cleaning up a little bit better over there and I need to maintain the play structure a little bit more

Visit today taking a scroll for exercise Beautiful scenery and also have tennis court/ soccer/ football field picnic area will do my scrolling on a regular basics

The set up of the shot put and discus next to each other was extremely convenient to watch both competitions.

Not very kid friendly how is it even called a park
This is spacious outdoor gathering area family friendly ( shed and very close by restroom )
It was quite nice. Sounds of nature, playing children and folks enjoying themselves. And the bathroom was surprisingly well-kept.

they need to add basketball hoops but othervise it’s fun to go there and hangout
it is decent. the baseball field is dirty, the pavements are cracked and beat down. the park playground is nice and clean, the gazebo area is nice and clean as well. the other fields are big, clean. it has a restroom. the place is a bit small though, especially when compared to other nearby parks, which is what brings its ratings down.

Aka the holiday Nature Preserve Trail. It is a partially paved and wood walkway above water. That leads to all the other connecting trails. Beautifully finished although they are still working on completion of parts of it but this part is gorgeous
Nice recreation area of Hines Park. Plenty of available picnic tables and bbq grills. While out exercising I and some family members decided to have an impromptu grill session. We bought some groceries and aluminum foil to cover the public grill (grill grates don't appear to be cleaned regularly by park personnel) and had a great cookout. We cycle here every weekend and always find other park visitors to be extremely friendly and cordial. It is always a very diverse crowd and Hines Drive is closed to vehicle traffic every Saturday morning in the summer to facilitate safe biking, running, rollerblading and walking.
The trail behind the rec is close to my house, so i like to walk or ride here. It could be a little more kept up, but overall a cute spot for sports, a walk, or play for kids.

It's a very nice park. I've been attending an annual picnic there for more than 10 years. It's spacious, the play area for the kids is nice and the restrooms are always clean and useable.
Awsome place to take the kids! Although there is some construction going on they keep out of the way from where the kids play!

Clean area nice for kids or family gathering
Great location! Nice soft ground, so you don't get hurt too much when you fall. Clean restrooms. Loads of bees and yellow jackets if you are bring any sweet foods or drinks, but they are mostly harmless if you leave them alone.
Great place to spend a summer day.

I ride my motorcycle around here for hours.
It's also very safe with regular Shariff patrols.

OH MY GOD, this place is the park of all parks. Just recently the city replaced the bathrooms and the tennis court. Also the place has GREAT GREAT views and is just fantastic. The park also has an area to rest in and sit also area to make food. Also there is a water fountain wich IS AWSOME because it really does complete the park. What is even more incredible is that the park has a bottom portion with is easily the same size of the top portion wich is amazing. The bottom portion, don't even get me started with that, ITS INCREDIBLE. The bottom also has bathrooms with a play ground 2 OF THEM and so much more again all the things other then a water fountain is down there. IF YOU ARE COMEONG TO THIS AREA YOU MUST CHECK OUT THIS PARK IT'S AMAZING!!!!!😁
Amazing area, it and many parts to it and you can go everywhere. There is first my favorite, a tennis court, witch is beautifully colored and looks amazing(the city rebuilt it) there is a football field and a soccer field. Also the park does include a bath room and areas to sit at. There is a a little house looking thing that has tables and grilling stations. Not only these the park also includes a "downstairs" portion where there is a playground another house looking thing and more tables and grilling station's.

Nice quiet park. Make sure you're able to see the area prior to renting it. There were alot of problems which could have been rectified if the area was available for viewing prior to renting. The gates remained locked and wasn't available for viewing. There were problems with the grill (rusted out holes at the bottom), restrooms(washed down but all the toilet paper was wet) and the shelter wasn't sweep out, all of these things were fixed after being brought to the park management attention.
Huge park that is right next to an elementary school. Park has clean bathrooms. It also has a full sized, paved track for running or walking. The football field, softball field, baseball field and soccer field are all kept in great condition. There is also an area for small children that has swings, slides and a few basketball hoops.
Great facilities and great place for youth football... District 7 does a great job!
