Great place to take your kids of all ages and much to learn for yourself about the history of Newfoundland from the beginning of time.
Displays on oil & gas, icebergs, the phenomenal world geology that can be learned in Newfoundland, and much more with the changing displays.
They also have a great gift shop!
So many ducks and pigeons. I love feeding them ❤️

Lovely place with history , there is nice trail to work along . Best time to visit will be summer and spring but any season is still okay . Very good view of St. John and the waters bring chill to your spine that you are part of history

Great spot to view Signal Hill as well as visit the Geo Centre to get a sense of what lies below Signal Hill
We finally made our way up here on our last day in Newfoundland when the fog and rain finally broke and a beautiful sunny day broke through. The views of the harbour are worth it alone, but Signal Hill is worth it for many other reasons. What happened here played a big part in the world of communications we live in today.
Signal Hill a wonderful autumn walk breathtaking Rock Formations - scenery . The Eastern Coastal Views of St. John’s Newfoundland with the stunning Atlantic Ocean. Great place for simple hikes and walking trails everywhere you look :) bring a camera and water
I would consider this one of the must-see sites in St. John's. The hill was the location of the last battle in the Seven Year’s War in North America and was later the location where Guglielmo Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal.

Tangible sites include the iconic Cabot Tower and the various British military instalments around the hill, such as the Queen's Battery Barracks and the various canons which are scattered around. While you can drive up the hill, if able, I would recommend walking instead, as there are various interesting tidbits around the different walking paths, such as the ruins of the old canteen.

A beautiful park in the city.
Great play area for kids and family swimming in summer.
A stunning and historical site. Make sure you check out the trails along the bluffs. It's an uphill hike to get there so if you have some mobility issues take transit. But I must see.

Went to experience the anual Blocks on the Rock LEGO exhibit. I was very impressed with the hospitality and creativity! I was also able to experience the offshore drilling exhibit, while I was there. It was also very fascinating!

Brought back some memories from a field trip I've taken back when I was in elementary school , this time I've taken my daughter and she was so fascinated by the gigantic planets , it's all she talks about .

Best forest and beach 🏖️
Cool historic site near St. John's. Nice trails, and you can walk up into the tower to read about the history. Beautiful scenery, but it is very windy, so hold onto your hats. Parking can be busy during peak times. Extra parking is down below, but you will have to walk up a very steep hill.
We really enjoyed visiting this place, we hiked along the Signal hill road, up to the Cabot Tower. Spent about an hour there and enjoyed great views of the ocean and the St John's harbor and city. We also learned the history of St John's military battles and the first wireless transatlantic communication. On the way back to the city, we hiked along the North Head trails which was the most beautiful and exciting hiking we had.
One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It’s a huge park and there’s lots of trails to walk and things to see. The tower at the top of the hill is historic, the view from the bluff is breathtaking. Just be warned, the stairs to get out to the viewing point way out in the harbour is MURDER to walk back up, but still worth the view. There is a large visitor center and plenty of parking. There also doesn’t seem to be any kind of entry fee, or even a gate. Not to be missed on a trip to St John’s
It was fun there was a basketball court 2 tennis course swings and a play ground with monkey bars and that kind of stuff

Simply amazing park with many nice walking trails, small waterfalls, sunny lanes, lake and many ducks. I enjoyed walking there sooo much. It is beautiful any season of the year and has lovely trails outside the park also. Try my favorite South Brooke Trail

Beautiful park, with lots of walking trails. Lots of parking. If you bring some duck food there is tons of ducks that are more than appreciative for the meal. Overall would highly recommend visiting here for a casual stroll and great scenery

Quaint and quiet park with a wonderful shaded trail. Connects with Virginia lake - lots of spots to sit and access the water. The playground is quite small. There are a few swings and a slide, as well a nice bench. The trail is as quiet as it gets, and the sound of running water will make you feel relaxed and at peace. Great for mid day walks, although I wouldn’t walk it in the evening/night, as it can get quite dark

Beautiful park. It was very busy but not crowded because there is a lot of space. There are some touching monuments from Newfoundland's World War past. There is also a Peter Pan statue in memory of a little girl lost at sea. The statue has all kinds of hidden little details.

Not much to do
Its a cute safe looking, self contained, park with trails on both ends. It was very quaint.
Excellent
Love this park because there is a lot of space for kids to run and play. There is a nice green space near the park too. But the down side is the playground is often littered with broken beer bottles in the summer time and graffiti has been drawn on the equipment in the past. Thanks to the city, graffiti is usually removed and bottles are picked up in a reasonable amount of time. Also, dogs frequent the park which is fine but the dog feces left behind in the greenspace is disgusting! Watch where you step in the greenspace.

It's got a playground for kids, tennis courts for preppy adults, and an open field for everyone and their dog. I like to fly kite there

Very nice little playground, nice neighborhood. It is on a busy road but the play structure is a good distance away from it. A bit of woods behind it that kids can run around in. Play structure is above average compared to others nearby.
Park needs some updates
Awesome place for family friendly environment

This is actually officially called Stavanger Park, next to Bloomsbury daycare, not Bloomsbury park. Also, it is not a skate park. We went there b/c it came back in Google search as a skate park. Just an FYI for anyone else looking for it.

Great place to know about geology and history of Titanic. The third place exhibits the stories of Titanic in Canada I've ever seen. The other two places are Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax and Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.

Great open field and a Pokestop to boot!
This park was amazing because not only is it big but it has tennis courts and basketball nets
Great park located in the Eastbourne Crescent area. Has a basketball court on blacktop, two tennis courts, playground, and a large green space area. The park can only be reached by following trails from the main road, making it nice and quite at all times.
Great little neighborhood park!
