Perhaps this a park by city standards, but blink and you'd miss it. Still, a good route if walking from the marina to Canada Place etc.
Coal Harbour Park is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of the city, offering a peaceful respite from urban life. The park's impeccably maintained trails, vibrant flora, and scenic waterfront views make it an ideal spot for leisurely walks and contemplation. Its thoughtful design seamlessly integrates nature and art, creating a harmonious and rejuvenating environment. Whether you're seeking a quiet moment by the water or a leisurely stroll through lush surroundings, Coal Harbour Park provides a tranquil and refreshing escape for nature enthusiasts and city dwellers alike
Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind, a family-friendly outing, or an opportunity to connect with nature, Prince Edward Park has it all. I highly recommend taking a day to explore this tranquil haven and soak in the beauty of the outdoors. It's a testament to the fact that you don't have to venture far from the city to find a slice of natural paradise.

Coal Harbour Park is a wonderful urban retreat. Its combination of natural beauty, recreational facilities, and stunning views makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the city's frenzy while still being in the heart of Vancouver.

This beautifully landscaped park, named after Hong Kong-born Canadian politician David Lam, offers an ideal blend of natural beauty and recreational facilities. The expansive green spaces are perfect for picnics and leisurely strolls, while the children's playground and the basketball courts provide excellent opportunities for family fun and sports enthusiasts.

The park's well-maintained green spaces and walking paths are ideal for leisurely strolls or jogging, while its playground and sports courts cater to families and fitness enthusiasts. The tranquil setting, with its lush lawns and benches, provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Additionally, David Lam Park is a hub for community events, including outdoor concerts and festivals, adding to its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
Prince Edward Park offers a serene and picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled in a lush, green setting, this park is a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. With well-maintained walking trails that meander through the woods and along a gentle stream, it's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a brisk jog. The park also features a children's playground, making it an ideal destination for families. Picnic areas are scattered throughout, providing ample space for a relaxing afternoon.

A small park by the sea. Also has a small playground. A nice place to chill in the summer.
Nice spot to appreciate the beautiful North Shore.
A small walking circle with a playground in one corner. Some seating to look over the Harbour and the mountains. At the time of this review there is noisy construction breaking the peace.
Even nearing winter, this is an amazing place to go for a stroll. Budget at least 1-1.5 hours to see everything, and take your time. For under $10 for adults, this is the best value attraction in Vancouver for sure. Lots of interesting/new plants for me, and even gadwall and hooded mergansers.
Excellent place for walking near Vancouver. There are many trails to enjoy with family and friends. Many types of nature views and Pic spots. A lot of history there. There are some stops where you can buy food and washrooms to use. Parking available.

What a great walk! The natural beauty of the rain forest and ocean. The trees were amazing! There was a good seperation between bike and walking paths. Inner trails felt so secluded. Overall it was fantastic!

Very nice view but small area to park, have to park on the street and walk down unless you want to block the alley
It is the place to visit. Enjoy the conservatory of tropical plants, multiple gardens, small
arcuate bridges, beautiful views to Vancouver City from the top of the town. There is a rose garden, picnic tables, restroom and other facilities.
You can park your car on the nearby streets.
Beautiful views across to the islands watching the planes land and take off.
A quiet little oasis from the city. This park feels like you are well out of city with no one around. There is a covered picnic area with lots of tables, a baseball diamond and a fun new playground for the kids!

I had a fantastic time riding around the park with a rented bike. The bike lane was well-maintained, although there were a few short spots where you had to dismount and walk the bike.

The ride offered spectacular views and plenty of photo opportunities along the way. If you stop to enjoy these picturesque spots for a few minutes, it takes nearly two hours to complete the path.

A memorable experience with breathtaking scenery and ample photo opportunities.
Even in October, the garden was absolutely gorgeous.
Even my 2 kids absolutely loved it.
We spent a couple of hours walking around and didn't even get to see everything because we had another stop to make.
Definitely would go again in the spring to see more things blooming.

This is a beautiful park in downtown with views of False Creek and Yaletown. The lawn is perfect for resting in the sunshine, or hosting an outdoor festival. In 1995, David Lam Park named after the 25th BC Lieutenant Governor David Lam, who was the first Chinese Canadian to be appointed as a vice-regal in Canada. He was known for his charitable efforts, donating millions of dollars and leveraging millions more to support educational institutions and activities in Hong Kong, Canada, and the United States.

Beautiful park, you could literally spend hours here just enjoying the nature and it’s sounds.. I highly suggest walking through the park trails instead of the seawall or the road.

Tall trees, critters, mushrooms and more. There’s so many fun finds here if nature is your jam. But please wear proper shoes and make sure to you take breaks cause some of those inclines are no joke!!

Loved it here. We rented bikes and spent the whole day exploring. Lots of great views of the city and the water. Riding under bridges. A couple designated beach areas. A brewery at one end. Would 100% recommend anyone take the time to explore if you can.

A MUST SEE if you're in the area. I come here around 3 times a week.

There's a really beautiful restaurant in the park as well as a pretty biodome. But you don't need to spend any money to enjoy the park. Between the really lush gardens, the fruitful blackberry bushes in the late summer time, so many beautiful sitting areas, you'll be spoiled for choice!

I personally come here to hang out with friends, have a beer and the drinking area, paint, see the mountains, exercise (running up that hill is a good way to get the heart moving), and anything in between.

One of the most beautiful parks I've ever seen. The park is huge and very pretty especially during autumn as you can see the leaves starting to turn yellowish and reddish. It's a really nice place to have picnics as they have a lot of benches all around the park.

I rented a bicycle at Spokes and cycled a whole round around the park. I stopped midway to visit the aquarium so the total trip took around 8 hours (including the occasional stops to take pics).

A beautiful place!
Paying for parking was a bit painful as the app wouldn't work for us and the pay machines were very slow (including one that the number 5 didn't work on, which was needed for entering our car registration). Once we finally were able to pay we were pleased to find out our parking ticket was valid in all of the Stanley Park car parks.
We went for a lovely walk along the perimeter path (split nicely into two for cyclists and pedestrians), then walked back to the car park via one of the forest trails. Really nice views to be seen!

Beautiful walk.
Lots of nice things to see and enjoy.
The blodel conservatory has some amazing plants and always love to see beautiful birds.
The love locks are super cool.
And there is a locks dated from 1940's will you be able to find it??
Such a lovely place.
A tourist spot.
Great choices of food.
It is beautiful, with many species of plants to see and admire. The design of the gardens is fantastic. It has a lot of spots to enjoy a sunny day, read a book, chat or admire the view. I can highly recommend it. I just bought my membership 🌟
Our Church had an amazing picnic here. Coastal Church Family Picnic.
We had bouncy castles, food, face painting, games, and so much fun. Great place for any event like that to take place. Thank you, everyone, who helped make it happen.

Huge and spacious park. The kids love the spray park and there are washrooms. During the summer mon-fri, the parks board has some activities for children. The playground is pretty big and has one swing for babies/toddlers and one full seat swing.
Awesome oasis in the city. We spent 3 hours leisurely strolling about and did not manage to see then entire garden. It is a beautiful place. Paths lead visitors through several different habitats. If I lived closer, I would buy an annual membership!

Beautiful park… highly recommend biking along the bike path that goes around the perimeter of the park. Gorgeous views! Rent a cruiser bike and you’ll have a lovely time! You’ll be able to cover it within two hours, including pit stops for photos.

This garden is wonderful! It is pretty large and there are many different themed areas to discover. The many different plants are very well arranged, properly labelled and you can see, that someone has put much time and energy into creating this beautiful place. Everything is very clean and tidy and it's really enjoyable to walk around. For so much work, the ticket price is more than reasonable.

So pretty. Super romantic place and lovely atmosphere at night with all the city lights.
A formal garden with some lovely highlights. There was plenty to see and it was well worth the entrance fee! We are from the East Coast and we love the botanicals so being at VanDusen was terrific because there were so many western varieties of things. Staff were extremely helpful. This is a hot spot for weddings. There were no fewer than 6 today while we were here.signage through the park is terrific, paricularly on the trees. Signs are present but not in your face, ruin your photo variety. Lots of photo ops. I also love how art installations were dropped throughout to enhance the garden experience. Very well done!
My kids are older now but they and I would have loved this place!!

Right atop the community centre.
Great views. We’re here for the Jazz.
One of my favourite parks in Vancouver. It has everything, playgrounds, green areas, tennis and basketball court, bathroom, weather trough and a beautiful view with all the sailboats ⛵ and if you are lucky you can see seals 🦭 too. Perfect place to watch Cherry Blossom season 🌸
My daughter loved it, mostly the big yellow slide....some other things that are in the water park are taken by other kid's and they don't share or give a turn......would be 5 stars but people bring their dogs and don't clean up after themselves and they have no manners. Some parents don't teach their kid's simplest thing in life...

Several picnic tables are under cover so protected from weather. Baseball field and lots of open area. Plus, there are restrooms.
Very beautiful and fun to explore! Not as busy as some of the other gardens in B. C, so more peaceful and serene. The entry price was great too, it was around $25 for 2 adults. What would have made it better would be if there were more signs telling you where you were throughout. I think we only saw 2 the whole time and my partner and I did a lot of backtracking etc to try and see it all, and even then I think we missed a couple areas because lack of signage. Would probably go back though if looking for something to do and was in the area!
We like walking our dog to the dog park at Queen Elizabeth Park, especially on sunny days. Our dog is always happy, smiling, cannot stop wagging his tail whenever we bring him to the park, cause he knows he can run around on the grass, very spacious, and play with other dogs. The park is big and beautiful, a bit hilly at some parts, a lot of trees and flowers, including cherry blossoms in spring time. We celebrated our daughter's birthday in Seasons in the Park last year, a nice fine dining restaurant inside the park. It's nice because we live nearby about 10 minutes of walking, so whenever we need some fresh air or need to be in a spacious open place, we can always come to the park, just to sit under a big tree, picnic, nice place for reading, playing with dog, walking, cycling, jogging, breathing... 😊
the fun and enjoyable park for children and adults.

This large park had several dedicated areas for sports such as basketball. Although I went there in the afternoon, many people were exercising on foot or by bicycle.

And that there was a beautiful sea in front of this park and there were many swans in that park, many of them were in the water and many others were walking in the park.

Although a little chilly at the time of our visit, this place has everything you need to keep small kids occupied and safe. The splash pad, playground, and open field create a very family friendly atmosphere. Tale is that a lot of families will visit this park and so there is very little space available for blankets and/or shade. There are public washrooms available with running water sinks.
Beautiful park. It has many spots to enjoy a picnic, talk, coffee or walk—one of my favourite parks in Vancouver. The gardens are stunning in spring and summer, don't miss them.
Best place to view the vancouver canada 🇨🇦 harbor.
Park was crowded but had great shaded areas and beautiful scenery.

Awesome park , the river front is so beautiful , grandville island is not far, the Olympic village too and all the skyscrapers modern luxurious. It s magnificent
The best $13 you can spend! I went in mid-June and the garden was beautiful, even though most of the flowers had bloomed. The roses were stunning!!

I went first thing in the morning, which was great because no people were in my pictures! I spent a solid 1.5 hours here just exploring - it was gorgeous! Highly recommended at any time of the year - the winter display is stunning!!
It's a nice place for a picnic. The only problem which is not specific to this place is the parking price. You should expect to pay around $15 for a couple of hours as it's $4.75/hour

Walked from Downtown and it was worth the walk. The park is a lovely distraction from the City skyscrapers with large green areas, both cultivated and natural, sports fields and views. It's worth the walk just to get a picture of the City with a green border. Free to just walk or you can pay to visit the Conservatory (separate review posted). The gardens near the conservatory are beautifully tended and watch out for the hummingbirds. I love the fact that the mountains distance and direction are marked on the wall to view the City.

One of the beautiful parks in Vancouver. The most attractive spot I like here is a view point where we can view the whole city and mountain range. There are a lot of varieties of plants and are beautifully maintained.
There is a restaurant inside the park which was crowded on my visit date. There is a small conservatory inside the park which we need to pay for entering
For adutha it cost nearly 7 dollar and for kids nearly 4 dollar.

Very big car parking facilities and a plenty of resting places. I didn't see these many resting place anywhere in other nearby parks.
Very good place for children.
Water slide open on weekend now and open everyday during summer vacation.

Beautiful park with many facility, such as washroom, basketball court, tennis courts, and so on. Well maintained environment and it's refreshing walking or biking along with the water with the spectacular city view. Especially Spring season is the best time to come here for viewing cherry blossom. Picnic under the Sakura trees would be a great idea. Paid parking available on site.

Beautiful park during cherry blossom season, went here during the cherry blossom festival and saw Japanese traditional dances and art while enjoying the beautiful river view with the city in the background.

If you come to the festival (which is completely free!) there is so much entertainment, with activities for all ages such as Japanese crafts, painting, games, performances throughout the day, authentic food trucks, and of course, beautiful cherry trees lining the park overlooking the river.

Beautiful lookout in the fall
We had our Sri Lankan gathering there. It’s a very nice place for events. Also you can enjoy the jungle area.
You have pay parking next to this
Very good and peaceful location.
Great fit as a picnic spot for family and friends. Fountain is really great for kids to enjoy. View is amazing from this site. Flowers used all around the place are so colourful and cheering. Place really gives warm and positive vibes. Must try walking barefoot in the grassy area, shade is great to sit around to enjoy the place.
💯💯

This park has a level playing field that is great for frisbee, soccer, or a game of catch. A corner fitness setup has chin up bars and a horizontal ladder for hanging exercises. A few benches in each corner, a spray park, a playground, a school garden, and bathrooms (though they were not open on a Saturday in January). Some grand old trees make this an all-around enjoyable green space. Enjoy!
Great location to walk riding a bike or hanging around with friends and family, enjoyable viewing area of Stanley park to north shore mountain or sea plane and of course beauty of nature it's everywhere.

A beautiful clean park across coal harbour to Canada place and Stanley park.

With rolling lawns and appealing views, Harbour Green Park seems to float at the edge of Coal Harbour. The park can be accessed from the seawall. Super convenient for transportation, such seabus, bus taxi, Uber. Different restaurant, cafe shop and souvenir places.
Nice views of the water. A bit overgrown now. Can access bridge to walk from this area. Not a superstar stop unless it’s bluebird day and you walk the bridge I’d say.
Its a good place to spend an hour or half. You get a scenic view of north Vancouver and to the right side its the beautiful Lion’s gate. Its good place for nature lovers. There is one ice cream cafe which serves good ice creams. There are clean washrooms.

Nice park for kids to play. Even on a wet muddy day.

The metal slides after the rain tend to dry ok so the kids don't get that wet bottom which is great for your car.

Wasn't too busy in the morning but with the large field and spaces out play areas, on a sunny day it can be a bit more packed
Amazing experience...!!! You get to see Lions gate bridge, North Vancouver with this gorgeous, breath taking view...!!! Woowza...!!!😍😍
Granville Island is a great place to visit. Bring the friends bring the kids bring the family. The waterpark is great when it's open. On a nice sunny day there's a great park for the kids and running water. The community center is close by with toilets. You'll see plenty of Wildlife with raccoons Ducks, geese and skunks and the occasional coyote. There is also food and a market close by. Remember that Granville Island for the most part shuts down at 7 pm. There are a few private restaurants that stay open late.
