Off the beaten path! It's a must see in Paris especially on an evening when most shops are closed. A quick walk from the Latin quarter you can enjoy your ice cream while you sit among the flowers. It's simply beautiful
Beautiful Gardens. And plenty of space to relax with your love or friends. It's a shame so much reconstruction is going on. It's ruined the view of the palace. However, on a lovely summer evening... this is perfect to spend a couple hours relaxing after a long day of sightseeing or working.

A well-kept and nice garden. I wouldn't go to hang out in the garden only and the payment doesn't justify it - 7€ per person. The facilities are suitable for family fun with children up to 12 years old.
This place was incredible, couldn’t imagine a more naturalistic place than these gardens. The park there is also profitable. Highly recommended! 👍
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Luxembourg Gardens during our trip to Paris, and the experience left us utterly charmed. From the moment we entered this enchanting haven, we knew we were in for something special. The meticulously manicured lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and stunning fountains set the perfect backdrop for a romantic escapade.

As we strolled hand in hand along the well-maintained pathways, we were captivated by the serene atmosphere and the sense of history that permeates the surroundings. The sight of the Luxembourg Palace added a touch of elegance to the landscape, making us feel like we had stepped into a fairytale.

One of the highlights of our visit was the Medici Fountain, an exquisite masterpiece that exudes tranquility and beauty. We found ourselves spending moments of quiet reflection by its side, taking in the soothing sound of flowing water and the gentle rustling of leaves.

The park's ambiance was made even more magical by the melodies of talented musicians, creating a romantic backdrop as we explored the gardens. Watching children sail their toy boats in the pond brought a smile to our faces and added to the sense of whimsy in the air.

Luxembourg Gardens isn't just a place; it's an experience that deepens connections. As a couple, we were able to share intimate moments reading beneath the shade of trees, stealing glances by the fountains, and finding hidden spots that felt like they were meant just for us.

In a city as vibrant and bustling as Paris, Luxembourg Gardens stands as an oasis of tranquility and love. It's no wonder that generations of couples, like us, have been drawn to this place. Our visit here was a highlight of our trip, and we're grateful for the memories we created. If you're seeking a place to rekindle romance and create lasting memories with your loved one, Luxembourg Gardens is an absolute must-visit.

Jardin des Plantes is definetly worth a visit. The greenhouses were beautiful and the lush vegetation, beautiful plants a joy to walk through. The second greenhouse has plantsspecies that have changed only very little throughout the ages and give you a prehistoric feeling.

Beautiful place to visit as there's so much to see. You get to see the garden, the Eiffel Tour and the Sennes River which offers awesome photo shoot backgrounds!
The best place to kick your feet up and relax if you are in Paris. There are so many little food stands to get a snack or a coffee if needed. They also have a really fun playground for the kids if your children need to blow off some steam. I love this beautiful park.

Beautiful old 19th century menagerie housing rare, endangered species and a few miserable looking big cats, of which there was no sign of them this time. In need of revamping, some enclosures have been modernised but some others lay empty and in disrepair. Fun small zoo, in a pleasant park.
Great park overall. People just sitting on the grass and enjoying the view. You can really feel the greatness of the place and the times it was created. Champ de Mars is a beautiful public park in Paris, famous for its iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. The park offers a stunning view of the tower and is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. It's a perfect place to relax, have a picnic, or take memorable photos. The scenery and well-maintained gardens, and tranquil atmosphere make it an ideal escape from the bustling city. If you're visiting Paris, a walk through Champ de Mars is a must-do to appreciate the charm and grandeur of this historical park and its iconic centerpiece.

Nice park in front of Eiffel tower to enjoy your day and evening and you can click your pictures of the Eiffel tower and with the Eiffel tower.
People are enjoying their time with family friends and in groups.
I saw a group of old persons playing and even they were engaging tourist kids as well to play.
This Luxembourg gardens in Paris is breathtaking and you can walk around it and sit on the many chairs found around to relax. We only had limited time in Paris but we made a point of going back. Our absolutely favourite part is the Medici Fountain. We are huge readers and I cannot begin to explain the peace found at this fountain. There are chairs all around filled with people of all ages sketching, painting, or reading and relaxing. We made this our reading spot the following day when the weather was better and it was such a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also located away from the rest of the gardens so it was quiet and very relaxing. I would recommend a visit - there is a stunning palace, the majestic fountain as well as these beautiful trees for a lovely photo taking point for tourists. The whole place is stunning. Worth the visit for sure.

A beautiful park in Paris. Lovely pond with a bridge across it and ducks swimming around, Roman columns and statues add character. Plenty of bench seating and a vibrant place with people of all ages enjoying the environment. A lovely place for a relaxing walk or brisker jog.

The most splendid park with sweeping views of the central gardens. Plenty of spots to sit in sunbath or cool off in the shade. You could spend all day here exploring and enjoying the gardens, sculpture, museums and people watching.

This garden is breathtaking. My husband and I briefly visited but the wind and rain came in so we went back to our hotel. We only had limited time in Paris but we made a point of going back. We took a snack dinner with a bottle of wine to watch the lights kick on at night of the Eiffel Tower. Lots of people go to watch this nightly event. Amazing fews. Once in a lifetime bucket list item for most people! We even got to see a marriage proposal right next to us. Lots of entertainers too

One of the best spots in Paris in my opinion and a must to visit. It’s very beautiful and well looked after. There are a lot of chairs and other places to seat all around the park. A great place for a picnic
🌿 Jardin des Plantes is a botanical garden that belongs to the National Museum of Natural History. It was founded in 1635 as a royal medicinal garden and has four centuries of scientific adventures. It covers 28 hectares and has various collections of plants, trees, flowers and herbs.

👍 I liked this place, which is nice to walk around if you like parks. It has different thematic gardens, such as the alpine garden, the rose garden, the iris garden and the ecological garden. It also has several greenhouses that display tropical and desert plants. It is a peaceful and relaxing place in the heart of Paris.

👎 The only drawback is that some parts of the garden are not very well maintained and look a bit neglected. It could use some more care and attention.

🌟 I give 4 stars to this place, which is a beautiful and educational place to visit. It also has several museums and a zoo that are worth seeing. It is a great place for nature lovers and families.
A wonderful escape from the canyons of buildings in Paris. Beautiful old park full of rare, and not so rare, trees and plants. It’s free! It’ll make you feel so relaxed to take a stroll through here.
Amazing. Lovely and big park. The air is so fresh and the walk ways are wide. Very clean and perfect for kids to run and play. The number of attraction and museum is amazing. The only problem is that the museum as well as the "manege" close at 6pm which is very early since the sunset is at 10 pm

Either you book your tickets on line in advance or you can buy on the spot in queue, it doesn't take more than 30 to 40 minutes. The place is to be experienced and not explained, awesome, very beautiful. Whole Paris can be viewed with birds eye from Eiffel Tower. We enjoyed very good pizza & tea. Viator app is very useful.

One of the most beautiful parks in Paris. A quiet oasis in the middle of the city, you can see ducks, turtles, fish in the pond and a lot of dogs.
You can either sit on the grass and have a picnic or on a bench, there are plenty available. Really close to the metro as well. As a bonus, they have little fountains with drinking water and even soap if you want to refresh and clean your hands.
Always a pleasure to come back to it. 🌳

It is good for a leisure walk or the occasional jog, but it is not very pretty or kept. It looks a bit untidy and a mixture of different styles, so not so pleasant to the eye. Also good for kids to run around.

This beautiful place is off the beaten path, and well worth a visit. It reminds me of Kew Gardens, in London, because of the combination of gardens, greenhouses, thematic landscaping, and museums, there. This is a place where families gather to stroll along tree-lined avenues, have picnics, or walk through special gardens like the Alpine one. The natural history museum is a bonus. Don’t miss out on that!

Small Park with a cute play area. Has food (pretty good Belgium waffle). Mostly runners doing laps on the outside trail. Kids playing in the inner area.
A delicious park for picnicking, playing ball with children, resting under a tree… And it offers a free sparkling water fountain! Not far from Trocadero, in a more residential area, a very beautiful one!
Nice I first learned about the Eiffel Tower in my books as a child. Then I thought that if I get a chance in my life I will go there 1 time. That opportunity has not yet come. I hope to go there in the future when I can earn a lot of money. I wish if i could see it from very closely. It would be great for me. I will wait for this day when i could see this special thing from closely.

This is a very beautiful and pleasant park for walking. in one you can do exercises or go in for sports, in the other you can take a walk with your child, there are many benches everywhere to sit. there is a pond with ducks. landscaping. very clean and in summer you can have a picnic on the green grass. you can't walk with dogs in the park, but sometimes people come with dogs until the park guard notices them and asks them to leave. children ride in this park on ponies and horses. and also in this park there are interesting monuments, one of them is the first parachute descent in the world, which took place in this park. if you want to relax in an oasis of nature or do an easy jog. play with kids or friends. make a picnic then this park will suit you

Un scandale le gardien ferme le portes à 16h20 alors qu’il est indiqué que le parc ferme à 17h. Quand on lui demande pourquoi ? Il nous dit qu’il fait froid ! Scandaleux! Et tout les jours en plus ! Il est désagréable et irrespectueux

Very nice place for a walk, interesting plants but could be better organised. There are much better botanic gardens to see. The entry is free of charge though.
Beautiful park to visit, stroll around and especially be there for the final stage of the Tour de France!! You’ll need to be in this area early or best to buy one of the grandstand seats…better to be across the Champs in one of the sponsor private tents!!!

Lovely garden with amazing views and lovely water fountains perfect for taking a break
Really disappointing that all the fountains were turned off and empty. They had at least kept up the watering so the little flower patches were nice, but a number of them were behind tall fencing so that kind of ruins the ambience of the park. Only reason this gets 3 stars rather than 2 stars is that you can't beat the views of the Eiffel Tower.

Jardin du Ranelagh is a peaceful oasis, just a three minute walk from La Muette stop on Line 9 of the Paris Metro. People have picnics here and there are well resourced children's playgrounds. Across the road is Marmottan Museum.
Beautiful gardens from the Louvre to Eiffel Tower. Lots of seats and snack places. There’s even some ponds that kids can rent an remote controlled boat. This is a lovely walk with beautiful views of Paris. Would highly recommend doing this.

Discovered this beautiful garden during a Photography walk. Very concrete and beautiful garden on top of Train Station Montparnasse with little sound of the trains passing under the way. If we are waiting for a train then we can definitly visit here and sit down in the sun during summers.

I discovered this garden by mistake while entering the Gare Montparnasse. Its a sort of concrete garden with greenery between buildings and on the roof of the train station . The kids section is fine with a big sandy area .
It needs more maintenance it looked outdated though . Not easy to stroll with a pousette . Thete is some ping pong tables and basket ball courts .
At the end of March it’s supposed to be Spring season beginning, but it looks like the flowers and the leaves are yet not at peak. I would recommend to visit the place in April mid or end of the month. Nice and pleasant to stay in with a company having a clear view of the Eiffel tower.

Exeptional garden in paris!! There are some lovely trees and plants that you can see for free. There is also a tropical greenhouse, the entry costs 7€ but I really think it's worth it!! Outside of the zoo you can also see some kangaroos
Good area
Perfect place to relax and enjoy viewing the Eiffel tower. Bring a picnic and blanket to sit on and relax in the park. Playground located nearby and some garden areas to stroll around in the area as well. There was live music the evening we were there and the festive atmosphere was delightful.

Very '70s, surrounded by high rises (you get a fascinating view straight into people's office and/or home windows from the elevated walkway). Yes, the corners are sometimes used as public toilets (which, let's be honest, isn't unusual for Paris) but the landscaping is really creative and I love the weirdness of this place.

The children’s area is not well cared for at all. I’m shocked this park is so highly recommended! We walked twenty minutes to get there and found it smelly (lots of private corners to pee in apparently) and the pirate ship that is supposed to be the main attraction is completely run down and the slide has plywood screwed on, preventing any use. My husband noted the entire place looked like it should be the scene of an apocalypse movie. Head to the kids playground at Luxembourg Gardens - about 20 minutes walk from Jardin Atlantique but dramatically better.

Très chouette cette petite jungle verticale.
L'on peut s'asseoir à l'abri du bruit de la ville. Cela fait du bien.
Nice open spaces. It has 2 playground areas for children, separated by a street with cars passing by, so you have to choose. It also has an outdoors fitness area for adults. Passing cars across the middle keep it from being truly quiet. There is puppet theatre with sessions at 3:15pm and 4:15pm for EU3.50. And there are ponies available for rides in the afternoon.
