Lovely venue (for a Care for the Family event . Ample (wide) parking spaces, and great AV. Light and airy feel to the whole place.

Nice park area, always kept tidy and good atmosphere, safe for families.. a new coffee hut outside the centre is a great addition.

Great venue, friendly staff. Fantastic resource for the community.

I absolutely adore this park because it’s one of the boggiest and most amusing parks in Birmingham! You have lakes , you have cafes, you have posh restaurants with lake view ! STUNNING, what else you want from a day out in nature ?! This is like all in one ♥️

Nice place for kids to let off steam.. however.. ground very uneven so be careful when playing ball games

Love to see the Exmoor wild ponies. Lovely parklands, great parking (free). Busy with dog walkers and families.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy walking through country parks a lot. It's just probably better to go here during the week when it's quieter. Lots of dog walkers and cyclists. Although a lot of paths are paved there are still paths that can be used that are not but these seem to be churned up by previously mentioned cyclists. So a bit of a quagmire if it's been raining. Cars are parked all over the place, forcing people to walk into the roads in places. A sad reflection of modern society. When you do get to the lake area, though, it is quite beautiful and if it wasn't for earlier reasons then this would score higher. Just go during the week to have a more enjoyable time.

Beautiful park, lots of paths to follow. Bistro on site serves snacks, hot drinks and a selection of alcoholic drinks.
Plenty of outdoor seating.
Staff very polite and friendly.
Ice cream van on park also

Stunning park in Sutton Coldfield with so many different walks and views.
This park is easily accessible with many different gates. Each gate has free parking available with access to all areas of the park.
It’s great for dog walking too, and there’s even a donkey sanctuary.
There are a number of cafes and restaurants around the park offering coffee and food.
You can take a picnic and enjoy all areas of the park but open fires are not allowed.

Lovely walk. Nice and peaceful. Good amount of bins and it was clean and tidy.

Lovely area for all water sports and nature enthusiasts. We went to the jetski club. Members can show their pass and park on the overflow. Other vehicles need to pay for parking. Staff are super friendly and there is a little cafe there that serves awesome chips =D

Wonderful park and such an education every time.
Love the markers on the ground telling you the history of the park as you walk round.
Met the wild ponies for first time and enjoyed watching them wallow in the shallow pools and roll around in the mud.
Totally recommend this for cycling, walking (Inc dogs), ice creams and just the peace n quiet.
Large park but can use online maps or visit the park office where there are displays and educational information.
Parking is plentiful.

I would highly recommend the miniature train ride. Only £3 per person, approximately 10 minutes and great fun. In total contrast the cafe can't cope on a busy day. At least 30 minute wait and then not worth waiting for. We gave up and came home. Take your own food and plan a whole day (picnic etc). There's a play park and rides for children.

People always flock to Sutton Park but this is a little gem. It's old, well established, central to sutton & beautiful. There are some pretty walks & woodlands & great big expanses of lush grass for a kick-about or a picnic 👍

What i thought was a lovely little park turns out to be used by irresponsible dog walkers, the ammount of dog mess around the wooded area is appalling. Pick up your dogs mess!

Enjoyed an early morning explore of Sutton Park - lots of good walking trails and places to explore.

A very pleasant walk that is nice and relaxing. You can walk through the woods or follow the path around the lake. Peaceful and serene with beaches overlooking the lake.

Beautiful nature reserve, unspoilt by commercial trappings

Absolutely lovely park. We went to Brace bridge for something to eat which was delicious but there's the actual pub with a covered outdoor area and then there's an outdoor kiosk that serves the same food (slightly cheaper) that has an uncovered area to sit outdoors - albeit with covered huts (however if you don't like spiders you won't want to sit in one of these!) You can't swap areas - which left quite a few guests including ourselves mystified.
Other than this to sit with a glass of wine looking over the lake was lovely.

Lovely time at Kingsbury despite the rain. We took the train (a half journey) and walked back. Love the greenery and wandering around the woody part of the park. The train workers appear to be very very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Would definitely ride the train again.

Lovely place for walking, particularly if you have a dog. Other activities on offer along with mini train and playground for kids. Good for picnics. Reasonable price parking and easy to get to by vehicle.

Absolutely fabulous place for fun, chill family time and great for picnic,
BBQ not allowed
Fires not allowed
And swimming in the lake not allowed.
U can take a gazebo or a tent.

Great place for a day out, and it's definitely busier over the weekend. £4.95 all-day parking, however, as we've been there only half day gave away our ticket on the way out. Picking tables, areas to hide in the shadow, and camp-van spaces. The toilets are not very clear nor the changing babies unit. The mini railway was an excellent experience (especially for the little one) -£2.5/ ticket (under 2 goes free). Overall recommended 👌

Lovely place to go any time of the year.
Went today not overly busy kids love it such a wonderful thing to see the young duckling there was a few today

A great little park with defined areas for sports activities, playground, outdoor gym, clubhouse, fields and wild forest area. Clean and friendly feeling.
Lovely for people to walk their dogs or exercise themselves or their offspring!
A real pity there isn't more parking as you have no other options at all locally. I understand not wanting to sacrifice more green area than necessary but at the same time adequate parking means more people get to enjoy it and in addition it's a safer environment for everybody.
Unfortunately not everyone can afford to live a walkable distance away from the park just as not everybody is able-bodied enough not to need to drive to a green space. Speaking of which there could be more disabled parking too!
This is very similar at Sutton Park's gates too. Always gutting for my disabled wife and disabled kids to make the journey only to have to turn around and drive away due to having nowhere to park.

Great place to take a quick walk and enjoy some bird watching. There’s some small paths all around the pool into the trees and it can be quite muddy if it has rained recently so usually opt to wear boots. A loop around both sides of the pool takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace as it’s quite small. There are a few benches to sit poolside but no amenities.

Fantastic nature reserve with lots of walking trails and routes get lost on. Lots of history and lots of wildlife. Lakes, open pasture, woodland. Many gates to enter, with car parks....some with toilets, cafes, pub etc, some gates are straight into nature with no amenities or facilities. Love a long dog walk here on a regular basis

An excellent park, good for walking dogs and very friendly people definitely worth a visit

Needs more attention to roads and parking

Great all round park. Kids play area. Football pitch to play on and nice walk around for dogs. Everyone is friendly when walking around

Great outdoor space, local, spacious and with coffee places on the go.

Ok the owners of this page claim the youth and weed smoking ppl have destroyed the trees . I just like to set the record straight. Last month we have the first storm of autumn and the rain wind did this to the trees. Not the youths.

Beautiful place but very much neglected. No investment by birmibgham city Council. Cannon Hill Park is their jewel in the Crown.

Great place to spend the day with the family. Cafe and playground keep the kids happy or walk around the many pools to find a good spot for a picnic.

We love the harvest fields park. It's a short walk from where we live, my children love to go and play there. We also visit "on the breadline" around the corner which is a gorgeous bakery

relaxing large park with a cricket club and outside gym and children's swings, and football pitch. Nice area for short walks off the main road.

Whilst this is a great facility for kids to play and people walking dogs etc in this park - i saw absolutely no sign whatsoever of any Dog mess or Pinnic rubbish strewn around. Clearly the Harvest Fields community truly value this great place - whenever i have met anyone they are always so friendly.

Lovely space to walk dogs exercise.

Small but very nice reserve with some interesting species.

This is a beautiful park to walk your dogs, I've lived here most my life and have been coming to this park since it was part of the army barracks, nowadays its much tidier and bigger and is a wonderful place to walk, play sports or just relax on the many clean benches, there are plenty of bins for poop and rubbish and the park is full of friendly people and adorable dogs, ill definitely be visiting and walking my dogs here everyday

Beautiful little nature reserve, hidden away within a housing estate. Plenty of wildlife and snowdrops starting to come up. I went today as there was an event on to help build Bird Boxes for the reserve, definitely worth a visit.

Wildflowers looked pretty while in bloom. All chopped down now though. Good place to fly a kite or fly planes with children. Five stars if there are no dog walkers allowed. Picking up poo still leaves a residue on occasion.

Lovely open space to let the dogs off or chill in the sun. Also play area for kids (or adults young at heart). Beautiful meadow flowers have been planted recently, well worth a visit if you are local.

Great display of wildflowers planted by the council, loads of bee's around.

A small park. Good for dog walks. There is a football club and cricket club based in this park which occupy most of the park. Those pitches are only accessible to club members.

It's is a lovely park. Children's area very good. There are no picnic tables and nowhere for the public to sit. It must be the only park in the area without a bench. Used by many recovering from replacement surgery, the elderly and those of an age where a stroll and a sit would work wonders it is so underused.

Lovely little play area.

Very local and green. Would be great to see people cycling here rather than driving and making the local roads busy. Please could I remind you to use the bins provided or take your litter home as sometimes the park has areas littered which makes it look horrible. Overall it is a great place to live near too. 👍

Great wee place for a wander with the kids. Feed the ducks, splash down the stream and hunt for bird boxes!

Big field. Dog walkers do bring their dogs there on lead.

Very good walks, stem from park. Following along the stream, plenty of benches along the way. The access also for bicycles are very good. A very good play area for children with picnic tables. Something for everyone.

Great playground with two slides, two sets of swings (4 'older' swings, 2 baby swings), steps, a tunnel, climbing chain etc. Brilliant setup. There's a large spider's Web made out of rope, but it doesn't seem as sturdy as it's meant to be. Great for a toddler too - ours loved the spinning benches/seats.

A nice little nature reserve. A small pathway around the edge (not suitable for a stroller). But there is a main path too where you can feed the ducks.

Great green space to have the kids roam freely. Nothing special, but always a nice place to walk to. Dog walkers use it a lot too - tend to pick up the poo, which is great. Not seen any in a while!
2021 Update: They have recently put a patch of wildflowers in and they have grown to be absolutely gorgeous (End of July 2021 this was).

Candleford Green is between Minworth and Walmley. It is is not in Trumpton.

Love walking dogs around this park, really peaceful and well kept.

I have found this little place on my way home from work!
My dogs have thoroughly enjoyed it there! I was lucky my Springer didn't jump in the duck pond!
Beautiful sea of bluebells! Who knew they had such a lovely smell!
Would love it more if it were a bit bigger!

What a Great place to go and walk the dogs, so much beautiful space and well kept grass, the dogs love to go there, Took the kids to the playground which is well looked after, Kids can play football on the fields using the goals they can ride there bikes etc, it is a beautiful stunning and quiet place, parking is free (taken advantage by the local hospital) and there are plenty of spaces too FOR PARK USERS NOT HOSPITAL as seen in my latest pictures all the spaces taken but nobody in the park I wonder where they might be? Good hope? Those people should be ashamed of themselves

Clean and tidy...lots of equipment for the kids to play with. There is a full size basketball court too. Superb local facility that encourages outdoor time. The community centre also offers a range of different clubs. You can buy a tea or coffee on a cold day. Plenty of benches including the memorial bench. A central bandstand.

Nice little 🐕-walky park with kids play area and 🏀 thingy.

Clean tidy park with footpaths around the edge, small selection of swings, slide and climbing frame for little ones and the mini basket ball court and football net for the bigger children. plenty of use by the locals and dog walkers, keep an eye out for Mr fox in the evenings

Smallish, but pretty, green space bordered by Lichfield road and Vaughan Close. Good for walking dogs, but there are no fences so keep them on a lead!

Lovely little nature reserve. The odd piece of dog mess here and there. 5 stars if dog owners cleaned up afterwards...
