Haven't been here before. It's hard to access the beach from the bottom of the stairs because logs have washed up there.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Altamont Beach Park is the sense of tranquility and serenity it offers. The park's secluded location ensures a peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere, allowing visitors to unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you're seeking solitude or quality time with loved ones, Altamont Beach Park provides the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Beautiful little seaside park . Has good views of the waterfront . And a annual Christmas/hoilday tree 🎄 that's huge .

A smaller park nestled along the Seawalk between sprawling Ambleside & John Lawson, but what an amazing location for towering Christmas tree. Super bright and festive.

This park in Ambleside is central, was site of the "Millennium Floral Clock" (2000 - 2012 | sadly dismantled, as this public art work was prohibitively expensive to maintain) and plays host to several events, especially during Summer, (e.g., Harmony Arts Festival in August: beer and wine garden in past years).
Peaceful place to sit and enjoy a good sunny day
Nice seawall walk!
We saw three seals.

☀️🌊 Unveiling Paradise at Whytecliff Scuba Beach! 🏖️🌅
Prepare to be utterly enchanted by the hidden gem that is Whytecliff Scuba Beach! 🐟🦭
First off, let's talk about the view. It's like a dreamy painting come to life – rugged cliffs, lush greenery, and the sparkling blue ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. Nature's masterpiece in its purest form! 🏞️🌊
The beach itself isn't really heaven and there is not too much space where you can lay down, but the place offers more wild spots. 🏖️☀️
Now, let's get to the star attraction – the sea lions! 🌟🦭 These charismatic creatures grace you with their presence, playing and dancing in the waters nearby. It's a mesmerizing spectacle that brings joy to all who witness it. 🌊🐾
Whytecliff Scuba Beach is more than just a destination; it's an experience that weaves together natural beauty, relaxation, and a touch of wildlife wonder. If you haven't visited yet, put it at the top of your list – you won't want to miss this slice of paradise! 🌴❤️
No beach. This small overcrowded stoney lane cannot be called a beach. Maybe this park is pleasant for some walking, but not for enjoying the sun / swimming
Fantastic place, it is a must see.
It's a nice place to relax but it's not too comfortable. You should bring chairs. You can bring food and drinks.

A nice beach park looking to Downtown Vancouver and Lions Gate Bridge. The views are so good.
People enjoy counting how many cruise ships is leaving Vancouver in summer.
It's good for walk or just sit in the benches or bring your own chairs sitting in the beach.
A nice gallery and beautiful community gardens in this park too. There are many good restaurants and supermarkets offers good food in this area. The parking is not a problem.
If you come in early August, the Harmony of Arts Festival offers many free outdoor concerts in a week time.
There are also with beers and food trucks with lots of seats in the festival week.

The community garden in the park is so amazing. Colors are fantastic as are any of the plants. Obviously a lot of devotion.

Beutiful view
Its a hideaway hidden rural rustic rocky beach. Its got a hiking trail starting from marine dr all the way down to the beach. Its got limited parking at south main entrance . Its got very rugged trails down to the beach once at the bottom of trail some climbing over logs to get to the rocky beach. Its like 98 %all rocky with the odd sand patch here or there type. Fyi Its got No public washrooms . Its got good views of the shoreline around . There are lots of big logs to sit on around . Its a good chill picnic beach .
I really enjoy this little area of rocky beach its very beautiful its got wildflowers around the stone staircase to the beach . Its got a green grass area on top at the road entrance . Its got a small group of very curious friendly crows lol . Its got nice scenery views around . Its clean and quiet . There is NO PUBLIC PARKING & NO PUBLIC WASHROOMS here . Its a nice park to chill with a picnic type . I really like the layout here for a tiny off grid rocky beach park and its next to dundarave beach . It does have one bench at the top of hill entrance here . There are TONS OF BIG BEACH LOGS to sit on here and enjoy the views

3 hour max parking between 7am & midnight but only 3-4 spots so best of luck to you - nice quiet bay grass area no services what so ever.
Ambelside beach in West Vancouver BC..
I have been in many different places around the lower mainland and the beautiful secluded beach area of the area here is one of my favorite places to go to be alone with my thoughts and feelings.
Somewhere to go to be able to unwind and relax in a friendly atmosphere where everyone is just "fine" (lol) but seriously folks the sunrise and sunset here intertwined with the natural beauty of the area is what I can come to count on.
CHECK IT OUT!

Nice park to play fetch with your dog while kids are playing on the playstructure. Fun for the whole family!
This beach in West Vancouver offers a perfect view of the sunset and is great for walking around. It's just a few blocks from Dundarave and has easy access to the sea. However, be careful as the rocks can be slippery. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness, just go! Fantastic views from what seems like a never ending beach with an amazing off-leash dog beach and plenty free parking at the neighboring shopping center.

Very quiet park. Close to Horseshoe Bay. A good park for relaxation and letting kids burn off energy before a long ferry ride!

Not big but very nice place.
Great place to go for a hike. It is beautiful here. The stream runs very strong in the colder months and in the summer it is very tame. A good place to record a ‘nature sounds’ audio for tranquil backdrop.

It’s clean and a nice outing in the West Vancouver neighbourhood.

This is a large field enclosed by trees for animals to run free & a small playground with baby swings, climbing structures, a digger & sand. NO bathroom! NO parking. That said, it’s always deserted, well-shaded & many places to sit.

The part facing the sea is mostly rocks, both small (gravel sized) and large (fist sized). It did not seem to have any amenities or things to do there.
Beautiful rocky beach with pockets of sand just west of Dundarave in West Vancouver. At lower tides this beach allows to explore both rest and West for a few hundred metres in both directions. Parking is limited and the staircase is pretty steep.
Cool little spot to explore. Not much parking. There's a picnic table and a little great area but not real beach-just rocky outcrops.
Lovely cozy place to tan in the summer. Love hanging naked and or in a thong.

There's not much of a park and with the big construction project going on there it will take away the tranquility of the area. The parking is always a major issue in the spring summer and fall. The area was always known for Troll's restaurant for fish and chips but its not like it was under the original owner. I woukd look else where for a day out.

A really cute park in West Vancouver that has one of the best hidden views in the city. Take the stairs up and you find a lovely area with a bench. Take a date there, get the family out, or have a picnic with friends. It's lovely in all times of the year. Take a drive and park on Esquimalt or Braeside and you can forget where you are when in this park. It can be a bit steep in areas but it's also a lovely off the beaten path spot for your dog to have a run around!

This is a small park with access to a beach with great views of English Bay. There is a few parking places beside Park Lane. The park is divided in to two parts. The lower part has a trail leading to the beach. The upper part above the train tracks have a tennis court in bad condition. The lower part with beach is the best part and is a nice place to relax. There is plenty of places to sit on logs.

Nice little small park with one bench to sit on to enjoy the view. Entrance is hard to find but is between a couple homes with steps leading down this park. There is now a blue sign at the entrance. This is a nice place to enjoy the sunset. There is many places to park on Gulf place road or take the bus on marine drive.

Tantalus Park is barely a park. It's hidden within a wall of trees and shrubbery, which provides nice cool shade in sunny weather, but can be quite dark otherwise. The only indicator of its existence is the knee-height sign and a bright yellow barricade blocking off the main entrance. Alternate smaller entrances lead to the desolate and derelict playground with a couple of benches. The large patch of open grass, while surrounded by trees, ends in a sudden drop down a relatively steep muddy cliff and into some cliff-side houses. Dogs must be leashed, and, it goes without saying, children need to be watched attentively when playing.
