Great place for children of all ages. Plenty of shade and plenty of seating and tables.
Nice foreshore with good views across the Swan River. Good for dog walking, they can swim in the river too.
My husband and I took 7year old and 11 month old girls to the Water park there and they both had a blast .
Outside of the water park you have a path that follows the beautiful park with more grassed area for family gatherings and to walk your dog. The only thing is there is not enough parking in the area but there is an allocated area on the grass for overflow.
Apart from that I love the area and the park .
This place is adored by children of all ages - for good reason. The splash pools, fountains, water features, rocks to climb through, shade, lawned areas, bbqs, riverside location and play areas all congeal to make this place a little bit special. The splash pool is especially loved by toddlers - well, my toddler anyway.
The waterpark in Mayland is a beautiful place to go on a hot day with kids.
Lots of enjoyment for little ones and plenty of beautiful area to sit peacefully for parents.
It's really busy on weekends but in week days it's less crowded..
2 different areas in the park according to age.
Refreshing place for a quick stroll or evening leisure time with kids.
Went fishing with the family. Good Bream fishing. Good for a walk along the river.
Great water park for most ages. I have a 9 month old, 2 year old, 7 year old and 10 year old and they all had a great time exploring and playing at this water park.
Nice kids loved it great spot for a kids party or picnic look out for old creepy men though
Beautiful river views and lots of varied birds to watch. Well maintained with good facilities.
What a lovely place for children to play. Water activities and great play equipment. We had our grandson's birthday party there and there was plenty of room to run around..... burn off the party food
Lots of shade and space. Easy parking, the times I have been there usually quiet too. Great for taking reactive dogs for this reason.

This is a nice park and convenient to where I live. It has no toilets but a simple playground. Plenty of area to run around. It is very quiet as a park.
Maylands Waterpark is good for families with smaller children. A lot of trees for shade etc, BBQ available. Lots of fun and a wide space to play in. My only downfall is how far the time and travel is to get there for its worth. Definitely more suited to those living closer or IN Perth City.

A wonderful place to take a walk by the river located in a very quiet area at the back of Maylands. Away from main roads. Large open parks making it a fantastic place for a picknick lunch with friends under a large shade tree or purpose built shelter.

Beautiful place for picnic, walking, relaxing, and playing sports like tennis.
Excellent, many people would know that here had one time been a aerodrome in this area this spot commemorates that it was once here. A great spot on the banks of the swan river for a family picnic or walk.

一小片草坪,算不上景观。
Great little place for taking my dog (Tazz) to go play. I've noticed they've planted almost 30 new trees around the perimeter but still they haven't installed a drinking fountain that I've requested multiple times over the years...!

In my personal experience this is a nice place to sit and eat a breakfast wrap and drink a coffee, but your mileage may vary- if you don't enjoy it I suggest trying the breakfast wrap and the coffee on their own and make sure they're not the reason you didn't like it.

Tranby Reserve has so much history as does Maylands Suburbs itself. Tranby Reserve sits along side the old "Chase Farm" where you can read about the history of Maylands and the land which Tranby Reserve now is. Great place to walk the dog, go for a run , admire the stunning river views or just have a BBQ in one of the BBQS here. There is also a cover Gazebo where you can sit out of the sun if a hot day.
Tranby Reserve looks out on to the Swan River and Hardey Park where you can watch lots of boats cruise past slowly.
Also when there is a full moon its stunning to sit here and stare at the moon . Plenty of parking available next to the tennis clubs or further down Tranby Road towards the boat yard
Clarkson Reserve in Maylands is a wonderful spot in summer time or winter. Summer time you can sit on the grass and watch the world go by whilst admiring the stunning view over the river. You can also take a walk or ride a bike along the pathways next to Clarkson Reserve and follow it as far as you like. Along the way and at Clarkson Reserve you'll see an abundance of birds including Pelicans, and sometime in the river you might be lucky enough to spot one or two dolphins swimming.
This commemorative park gives detailed history into the first airport in Perth and gives credit to the people who played an important role in this historical place.

Such a lovely park!! lots of BBQs, playground, a nice fishing spot and also a good swimming spot if you're up to it.i live nearby and swim here all the time. There's also a mini orchard with lemon, pomegranate and mulberry trees nearby for fruit picking in certain seasons.
Nice exhibit about the old aerodrome.

A peaceful Cafe by the Swan. I found it while walking the dog, and was pleased to discover that little Lola was a welcome guest. There is a relatively limited selection of rather expensive meals, but for me, a scone with the traditional jam and cream, or its savoury sister with lemon cream cheese and salmon was sufficient and well priced at 11.40 aus dollars. Peaceful and beautiful, it is, indeed, a favourite spot.
Maylands Foreshore Reserve is beautiful parkland on the Foreshore of the Swan River in Maylands. It’s an excellent place to take a walk with the dog, or a relaxing picnic with friends or family & the kids to run around.

It also has a kids playground with sand pit plus two (2) free bbq’s & picnic table & chairs.

You’ll find plenty of shady tree’s if in summer time & you’ll see an abundance of wildlife & birds including Pelicans on many occasions in the wetlands on the river foreshore.

In summer with it being close to the river it would be wise to take some mosquito repellent as they can sometimes be fairly persistent.

The Park is actually located next to the Maylands Waterland and in the same spot as the first & original Perth Airport which opened in 1924..

If you go on Saturday mornings there is a little cart that sells coffee - Lisura coffee that comes from the guy's grandma in Kenya - incredible coffee, well worth walking down there if you're nearby.
Maylands Peninsula and Foreshore reserve feature some beautiful and diverse elements including parks, lakes, and natural riverbank areas hosting many different wild birds. Take a picnic/use the BBQs dotted around in the park areas.
