Must See Place in Surfers Paradise
Nice as always
A vibrant and iconic destination on the Goldy. With its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, pristine sandy beaches, and a lively atmosphere, it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of the Australian coastal lifestyle.
The esplanade is lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it a hub of activity throughout the day and night. Whether you're strolling along the beachside promenade, enjoying a meal with an ocean view, or shopping for souvenirs, there's something for everyone here.
The golden sands and crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply taking a leisurely walk. Lifeguards are on duty, ensuring safety for swimmers and surfers.
The Esplanade comes alive at night, with street performers, live music, and a buzzing nightlife scene. The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets are a particular delight, offering a range of handcrafted goods and delicious street food.

Nice big park, a couple of shady spots for a picnic, great staging area for large artworks.
Such a beautiful place to go for a relaxing walk. I love the walk through here, near by shops, toilets and cafes. It is awesome.
Nice morning walk. Beautiful sea beach. Have walking track suitable for walking with dog.
Very peaceful and relaxing area to sit down with pretty views of the city scape. There are ferries from here to other parts of Gold Coast and toilets near by.

A beautiful small outdoor playground among the buildings and just close to the river with a pretty view. They have public toilets too which a plus point for mums with kids.
Great to walk the dog it’s an open area for your dog to have a run 👍
Beautiful place for evening tea or coffee. Nice board walk. Beautiful sunset picturesque buildings. If in the vicinity do visit.
It truly is a wonderful park to create memories with loved ones, the beauty of place is something to enjoy; come down and share a romantic sunset or even feed the fish and swans

A small but beautiful little park at the heart of Surfers Paradise. You’ll enjoy a stroll walk or sit by the side overlooking the river. There is fireworks show too on Australia Day or New Year. You might see a rainbow or two on a rainy day. On a great day, you’ll experience one of the most breathtaking sunsets. Here are some of mine to share with 😊

The park caters to toddlers and older children with it's wide variety of equipment from:
- a rock climbing area
- a double and single slide separated by a tunnel with stairs or alternatives to be climbed
- a merry-go-round
- a swing set with a baby seat
- a see saw
- two massive grassy areas for ball games or just running around.
There are trees EVERYWHERE for shade.
The park is next to a stunning canal where the kids can see little fishes swimming by, boats and jet skis or sometimes just the still, blue water.
There is also a unisex toilet block provided.

Great park for a quick “time out” in the middle of Surfers Paradise, not many people around, ferry wharf is easy to get to

Who wouldn't love Surfers Esplanade!!? Always plenty of people watching to do here & beautiful sunrises & sunsets of course. Just a great place to chill out
Lovely boulevard to walk on. There were a lot of small and friendly souvenirs shops. Everyone has a great vibe here.
How do I get to see the water ?
The only thing worse than the midgies, is the fat lady who dresses her cavoodle in silly clothes and moans about people behind their backs, thinking they’ll never find out.

If you havent been here, make this your next stop, surface Paradise night markets 🤸♀️ its for everyone and anyone 🧚♀️
Great spot with beautiful and quiet location. Easy street parking.
Great place to go and take the dogs for a run and relax. It's A Dog friendly Park. There's a children's playground and a great place to go fishing by the Chevron river. The public toilet on site are always kept clean. Perfect environment for a BBQ or picnic
My go to park with the puppies. Lovely space which they've recently fenced off. .great that it's off leash 24/7.. nice to watch the ladies do their South American dancing practice occasionally too

This is a great place for morning walks with your kids, it has a play ground, channel view, also you may walk along the embankment
Tiny but beautiful place
A beautiful green space so close to the hassle of surfers. Great place for local fish and chips in the park by the waters edge, only minutes from CBD of the 6th biggest city in Oz.

What a wonderful part, to walk in, take your dog. Whether to walk through and visit the memorial To local residents: Colin and Rona Connor or to Sit on one of the tables and do some work or study.
Or if with friends and family to sit down and joy the sunshine, company and beautiful food. If you don’t wish to make the food and bring it with you grab some takeaway from some of the great places here on Chevron Island.
There is a bus stop right next to the park. Or alternatively there is plenty of parking close by. Three hours free parking around this area. It has facilities such as toilets, seating, tables. It is right next to the Korman family park which has play equipment and barbecue equipment and a place to plug in any electronics you have. Also a fishing jetty. I have pictures of both parks for you to review.

Small but just the right size. Has playground at the lower end of the park. A few people sit by river and eat lunch, read magazines etc

Beautiful park. When I take my kids to Surfers Paradise I come here. It's a nice escape from the busy city. It's absolutely beautiful to see the sunset here. Playground for kids, gorgeous gardens, nice sandy beach on the root canal and lots of fish to look at in the water.
Apart from the great river views this place is fantastic for an evening stroll. Excellent vibe probably needs a council BBQ down here to make it a little more family friendly. Also has a nice little beach front where the smaller ones can wade around. You can not beat Surfers when it come to atmosphere period.
I really enjoyed this place, we spent some great times in GQ, will revisit again.

Perfect place to sit or walk on the grass watch boats and water scooters go by. No electric BBQ. No toilets. Just trees.
