Council car parking is substantial. So you can go there if you have appointments in the city, if you want to go to Australia Fare Shopping Centre, or if you want to take a wslk through the park to the water's edge

Check oit these beautiful yellow flowers on the trees, they are gorgeous

This is a densely populated area but it is always nice to visit

Amazing beach, literally picturesque iconic Gold Coast photo can be taken here
A nice park overlooking the beach. There are many cafes around to grab a bite. Parking is limited. There is a small free 3 hour car park. Paid street parking is also available.
It's a good place to picnic, go for a swim and enjoy a day out with friends and family.

Cool go see the flying foxes are still living there although the population seems much smaller than it was over 10 years ago.

Nice war memorials, senior gardens and view of the canal. Nice green space, wish the walk was longer and more to explore.

Had a brilliant day at the Crafted beer festival in this park. There is great facilities and plenty of parking and shady spots for picnicking in.
Great place to relax and go for a walk or have a picnic with family and friends.

Awesome accessible play ground with a changing places restroom nearby for wheelchair users (who have an mlak key) there's an AAC board, a balance ship with ramp access that kids with wheelchairs can use, a seated flying fox and a super cool submarine that kids of all abilities can walk or roll into. the inclusion here is so wonderful to see. LOVE to see playgrounds that are accessible for children of all abilities, really hope this becomes a lot more common, just wonderful!
Fantastic park for kids so close to the beach a must visit for families with young kids

So great to have green space beside the beach rather than just highrises and units. Well done whoever had the forethought to make it a reality. And so well used. Makes the area that much more liveable. And all lit up at night too.
Really nice park for the kids. Lots of things for them to do to keep them occupied

Pratten Park is in a fantastic location - you can literally smell the sea from here. The train. Bicycle thingys provide lots of fun for kids 3 years and above. Supervision is required as I’ve seen kids almost bump each other off these before. Gets really busy as expected on weekends and school holidays.

Unfold a table cloth, get your portable gas cooker, and cook up garlic prawns while overlooking the water.. add a packet of your pre mixed salad and a wine.. That's what I'd call a chilked arvo. There are also electric BBQS.

The park is quite expansive with a monorail which kids can pedal around on, swings, climbing equipment with slides alongside a few smaller items for younger children. There are a few picnic areas around the park, with an off leash unfenced dog park and toilet facilities nearby too.

Lovely clean park which stretches for quite a way, offering an off leash and unfenced dog area, a children's playground, toilet facilities and access to the beachfront from several locations. Parking is available on the adjacent road, although it gets quite full quite quickly, and the off leash dog area is clearly marked, with other areas including the beach requiring dogs on leash.

Nice place for fishing, biking or to walk to.
Great spot for the kids here. So much for them to do and interact with. Right on the beach at Kurrawa (Broadbeach) so handy for a swim and food and drinks are available at the Cafe under the Surf lifesaving Club , Plus at the SLSC.
There's also a beach volleyball area on the sand that when people are playing you can enjoy too!

It's one of the nice parks on the Gold Coast. Have picnic area with barbecues. One side is facing Gold Coast hwy. The other side is facing the Nerang river. Both sides are nice. Beautiful nature sounds on the side river. Many birds around. Makes your mind very relaxing.

Large, spread out playground with lots to do. Better for younger kids as the slides aren’t very fast. Good location between beach and shopping.

Nice little park to sit and eat your food from one of the nearby eateries if you don't want to sit in there
Such a beautiful park, needs some more seating.plenty of tall trees and green grass but not enough places to sit.
We spent time at both the parks here. This place just blows most parks out of the water. There are so many things you just don’t see at other parks. We actually enjoyed the next door park more but i think that’s because my son is a bit younger
Wrong photos 🤣
Don't listen to photos
Beautiful at night
Nice place for kids to play and family. Close to beach and Wollie's. It's secure with fence.
Lush grass, picnic tables, BBQ and kids playground. Lovely spot
I enjoyed this park with my daughter. Very quiet. Lovely trees

Nice family friendly park and beach on Gold Coast. Have a play and swim. The beach is amazing and is part of many miles and kilometres of the Gold Coast beach. There is a market on every first Sunday of the month with lots of home-made goodies, homecooked food, great art and craft pieces and lots of gift ideas for pets and children. But the beach ⛱️ is the place to go, and I consider it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Lots of people go to the beach for early morning walks and surfing before work, and on the footpaths just outside the sand, by the road, there are lots of walkers and joggers. The beach is not busy and has a good breadth of sand as well, so you have plenty of space to sit, put your beach umbrellas up and other people don't have to walk around you. The beach is also patrolled (at specific times) and there are surf life saving outposts at regular intervals along the beach. Shops are not far off, and there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, fast good joints all close by. Best time to go to the beach for a stroll is either early morning or late afternoon. Heaps of car parking for early morning walkers to park cars, and car parking next to the beach is free till about 9am. Overall an amazing place to just enjoy.

Good little park with nice location. playground, car parking spaces too. No public toilet.
A most comfortable space. Always interesting 🙂, walk through to beach, discreet art gallery with wheelchair access.
Great place with nice location, car park, BBQ, playground (needs to be upgraded)
Id put a half star if I could. An extremely dangerous place. Seems like every time I go there I get hurt.

Absolute serenity right around Kokoda Memorial and Cascade garden. Complete with a beautiful waterline, fishing boats, park chairs, trees, beautiful birds, adequate parking space, and public toilets. This fishing spot is a must see for anyone who loves fishing or enjoys nature. The environment is also very calming.

I go there Wednesday mornings to workout with a few other people. There's a kids playground for your young ones and it's a relaxed little park. It also has a BBQ area with hotplates.
Update 20 Nov 2021, there is new garden called Seniors Garden, there are many beautiful garden attractions mostly dedicated to Dementia Australia from Cedar House Mudgeeraba , I am very impressed with this new addition. I have been here about 11 times mostly passing through on my bike. It’s such an interesting park it’s multi purpose firstly a war memorial so some great history it view, secondly it’s home to the largest bat colony’s on the Gold Coast and lastly it’s a beautiful manicured garden with a huge variety of flowers also there is about 6 Barbecue s and riverside seating as well as a lush forest walk all in one small area... right in the city, so cool. Plenty of parking or you can just ride your bike or better walk so you miss nothing , bring your camera.

Nice to take a rest. Very calm , peaceful, and fresh air. There are many of birds here so that you can hear many of varieties sounds here. Also you can see the wild bat here.
Thanks to Australian military who joined Korean war and we can see here the memorial. We will never forget about it.
