Reviews

I've been going to this park since I moved to Rose garden in 2006. It still looks great and my dogs love playing here.

This is a great park for ages 2-7. It has two large play structures, swings, rock climbing wall as well as a water play area (which is quite basic but good on hot days)
The park has bathrooms (with out door showers), small parking lot, and large lawn area as well.
There is a reservable covered table area which can accommodate 20 easily. Plan ahead as it is usually booked on weekends for birthday parties

One of the nicer parks with a water splash area for kids, you can smell the chlorine so be aware of the for kids with sensitive skin. 2 separate parks for big and little kids, clean and nice little rock climbing area for kids

Very nice community park within housing community. Large area useful for community events, daily walks. Park is pretty when roses are blooming. Very nicely maintained. Good for picnics too.

It's very spacious, has three main structures: a rope section, a playground, and a mini playground. Is not geared towards older kids, more for kids 12 and younger. Would give it five stars but no swingset.

This park was nice. A little dirty on the play structure but it wasn’t too bad. Nice grassy areas and a walking path area. Pretty mosaic benches and a water feature. The tuft is broken with little holes- can cause tripping especially if wet.

Great place for soccer practices

Nice place for kids. It was great splash pad. Restrooms are nearby and open during Park hours. Restrooms were clean.

Clean plenty of grass some tables with shade when the sun is right.
Came on a Fri. The water was coming on and off. I called and was able to get someone out to fix it before the weekend so I recommend calling if you notice something is off. Kids love this this park.

Visited Blue Goose Park for a birthday party.
This park is fun for your little ones of all ages. There is also a small area of a splash area which is a bonus! This splash area is perfect for hot summer days.

It was different experience on 4Th July. Kids and us like. Instead of fireworks they did drone color light show. Also they did live music show. Show was also very good. It was too crowded. Around park all over food truck.park was looking very good. Definitely i recommend go next year on 4th July, you will not get disappointed.

A very nice splash pad and a big playground structure at two ends of a large grass field. It was very fun on a hot day! (Good shady areas for parents by the splash pad too)

Fun place to take the kids on a warm day. There is a timer for the fountains and if you’re not familiar with the park you may not know where to reset it to turn it back on.,There’s no signage for it.

This place has lot of shade and walking pathways. Kids play area and basketball courts.
Perfect for picnic and evening walks as well as kids play time

Nice place, my daughters special needs adult program has a Luau picnic. Best day program, they provided so much food, activities for the disabled. Great day!

First time ever was very hot day kids enjoyed it very much , just to sure water was recycled so very much smells

It’s a great park. Too bad the ppl there utilizing it were just as “good”. The bathroom was decent and clean, the sprayers were all working fine, and the grass was well maintained. The only “bad” I experienced was interacting with the parents of other children. We came with “our own” toys, yet the tweens who just come along with their family’s seem to “pray on” the youngsters who have brought their water guns with them, then try to straight up “steal the water gun” what is wrong with ppl these days?? Is it really “cool” to be a bully or just not have a conscience at all anymore?? The other bad thing was the “very loud and explicit language” in the music that was being played publicly!! Are there any Citywide regulations as to prevent small children from hearing nasty rated “R” types of lyrics being “publicly” played by “respectful ADULTS??” such as “WAP” by Nicky Minaj!!?? Or any other types of filthy & disrespectful non family friendly cussing songs!!?? These YOUNG kids are playing in parks with their “families”… NOT EVERYONE WISHES TO HEAR RATED R MUSIC PPL! Parks should be enjoyed by EVERYONE not just the “Mr. Cool guy’s who are flipping burgers listening to explicit music!! 4 stars.

Meant for little kids 1-5 year age group. Quiet place

This park is beautiful!! Nice splash area, swings are perfect for small kids. Love that there are shades over the playground. This park has lots of grass and a couple of grills.. I would advise to bring a chair though. The benches fill up fast.

Prettiest park aound here, closest you can get to a botanical garden within an hours drive

Wonderful town and park!

Decided to sit and rest in the park after a 10 mile ride on my bike. The park was in great condition. No trash on the ground and facilities were in good condition. I saw children playing on the slides and swings. A dad eating lunch with his son. People just being happy and enjoying being outside in the park.

Love love love this water play ground. It was 100° kids was having time of their life. Something simple. Good place to have a birthday party or picnic. Recommended.

The kids all had a blast in the water shoot ups. Only problem is that are no toilets

I came here for an Arts and Crafts event and it was fun. There's a water fountain for the kids to play in and a play structure. There are plenty of trees and open grass areas.

The park is cute but does not live up to its name. Beautiful community and neighborhood though.

Pretty nice and clean park, with shade, water fountains, & bathrooms! The kids loved the water feature, but BE ADVISED the water only turns on from 11a-7p AND to turn it on, you rub the teal pole over by the bathrooms back and forth a lot and the water comes on ... trust me, and no you're not on a prank show! 🤣🤪

Clean, nice friendly park with a fun and vibrant Friday night. Pics are from the Friday night.

Excellent small neighborhood park. It features a small chess players area and some BBQ grills as well as a small kids playground.
The park is next to a private gated community but it has a public entrance off Sungold Ct.
You can spend afternoon on a hike on trails next to the small creek.
If you cross the bridge there is a park on the other side — Kestrel Park.

This is a great park featuring two playgrounds (one for small children, one for bigger kids), a splash pad, basketball court, exercise stations, a gazebo, easy access to public transit (Metrobus and Ride On), plenty of street parking, and free electric vehicle charging stations at the town hall parking lot (for public use).

What wonderful sprinkle water park. Clean and well kept. Safe and beautiful. If you come please keep in mind to take your belongings and clean after your kids and disposed of your garage in the trash bin. Do not litter.

Best water play park for kids. It has big free parking and huge park for recreation. See my pics

Plenty of shade and places to sit, but two very small playground areas and a few swings. Water feature is fun for kids but plan ahead because it's recycled water.
Also, the city forgot to take down their holiday street light signs... 😆🙃

Nice park but no shade and not many benches easy to get burnt by the sun

This is a fantastic little park that is set back in a usually-quiet neighborhood with houses on 3 sides of the square (4th side is a long sidewalk that's a part of the Brentwood bike/walk trail system -- or heads to that system and can also end up at Creekside Park), that is usually kept quite clean -- and I know community members will help keep it clean on their walks. It has 3 sections to it: (1) playground area, (2) basketball courts, and (3) huge flat grassy area for sports or burning kids'/dogs' energy!
If you're planning a gathering/event, this is a very nice locale for all age groups to gather if you bring a folding table or two and some chairs/blankets.
🚻🚽Be aware, NO BATHROOMS.
💦There was a water fountain pre-COVID, but not sure if it'll be back.
📚 Between the 2 playgrounds, there's a box that allows people to trade books back and forth! Read the plaque (pictured) to see who sponsored it!
The playground area has 2 playgrounds with shade over the top of both -- great in HOT Brentwood summers! Both playgrounds have bark shavings on the ground that makes landing soft, but still easy to walk on. Watch younger kids that might put pieces in their mouth.
- The larger of the 2 playgrounds is for older kids: monkey bars, plenty to climb/swing, a slide swing that you hang from and someone can push you, platforms to the money bars, etc.
- The smaller of the 2 playgrounds is for younger kids: less-fast slides, a tunnel to crawl through, etc. ⚠️Be advised that on the ground are dinosaurs for kids to climb on -- THESE ARE HOT HOT HOT IN THE SUMMER! ♨️🌡️
Plenty of benches and several with tree shade, but benches are a hard wirey material that aren't the most comfortable and are hard to balance cups on. FYI if you plan to picnic here -- perhaps then use one of the several grassy areas to sit.
There are many sidewalk paths, fun for riding bikes (bike people, please remember to give sidewalk preference to people walking) that cuts through the 3 sections of the park and plenty of picnic tables right off the sidewalks.
At night though...well let's just say it's a teen hang out. Be prepared to see 😳🙈

Nice, clean, beautiful park! Great place to take pictures... #SUPREMEPHOTOGRAPHY

Big Gate prevents the unwanted park goers out. Shouldn’t be listed as a Public Park. You have to own a home in Carmen Estates. Sorry poor people! Go take your kids some where else.

Nice, quiet little park.

But homeless people think that they can setup in the park.So sad they have nowhere to go.

Beautiful park with multiple playgrounds for all ages and a large field for sports or letting your dog run around. There's also a basketball court. No bathrooms

Kids friendly

My kids love this park because they can go between water play and all the other fun activities, they just really need to fix the broken down playground

My grandkids loved it! Nice shade for all

It's a good little neighborhood park, for small kids to play on equipment and there are some shaded tables for people to sit. Some tables have chess or checker boards. There are a couple barbeques.

Great park. Lots of shade in the play areas and in the grassy areas. Perfect for my 2.5 and 4.5 year olds. The dinosaur structures were cute, but beware, they get HOT in the sun. No bathrooms, but great little spot for a picnic and some play time.

Beatiful Park with unique seats and the pool looks so clean and inviting.

A shady park, with extra rock walls and climbing challenges. Great for kids 3-10. No bathrooms.

Had a really nice time. There are 2 sections to this park. Lots of shade. Trees plus shade things over the playground areas. Nice and clean. The benches are super hard though, shoo bring a folded towel or something to sit on if you are going to sit on the benches. There is also a lot of grassy area to sit on.
Took my grandsons and they had fun riding their bikes these.
Took my grandsons and they had fun riding their bikes these.

It is a challenger playground for kids.

Great play structures for the kids and not a lot of vehicle traffic next to either street entrance. Shaded sitting areas and picnic/bbq areas all around as well. Very well designed and executed park!

I don't understand why no one else outside today was wearing masks, but the park has everything you need for kids of all ages!

It's so fun so much to do.🥳🥳

The park is open now, but no water in the faucet and the fountain is broke since the last summer.

Great park! My kids love to make the jungle gym an obstacle course.

Nice park and trails to walk the dog.

A place to entertain children over 4 years old, no restrooms

Modern and sleek fun place to bring kids

This park is really beautiful. There is a large variety of flowers of all kinds of colors here. The gazebo is also beautiful and relaxing. This place would be perfect for a picnic.

My dog loves this place, plus they have a water fountain for dogs

Nice, small shaded park with a little splash pad. In a quiet neighborhood, not over popular like over splash pads in the area. Geared for younger kids

Quiet park at the end of a neighborhood. Has two climbing structures one geared for littles abd the other for older kids. Has swings(not baby ones) grassy area and is mostly fenced in. Is a bit away from the street parking but has picnic tables and checker/chess tables. A plus is that if you get tired of this park you can all over the bridge to Krestel Park and get two park for one!

Brentwood city park is a really nice place. It has a great water feature for kids and they put on tons of events throughout the year. Put on 12 Friday Night concerts during the summer time and they just had the art Wine & jazz festival and later on they will have harvest fest and Beer Fest. In the pictures the guy with the blue chair and yellow shirt is the mayor enjoying himself at Art Wine & Jazz Festival.

Beautiful little park, well maintained.

Very pretty park with lots of picnic space and grassy areas. Two separate play structures, one for toddlers and one for older children. Adequate shade and plenty of parking.

The water feature is nice, but a little small. They play structure is fairly large for the size of the park and there are picnic tables and benches which is very nice. The biggest problem with this park is the lack of bathrooms. Kids playing in the water for an hour or two will inevitably need to use the facilities and here it means having to leave the park.

Great Park. Nice playground. Was able to play ultimate Frisbee for 2 hours on a Sunday. There were people they're throwing what look like to be Spears which was a little unnerving but they seem to be very careful about it. I would go back here any of the day the week.

Beautiful park but the visitors don't treat good the park, they throw all the garbage and dont clean up.

no trail activity due to poor air quality. but it was a nice visit. peaceful and quiet.

The plastic steps on the play ground look slippery for kids especially if damp but nice place overall.

Small but fun park, has 2 play structures. One for ages 2-5 and a 5+. Also 3 water sprayers only on during late spring and entire summer.

We love Brentwood and their parks. They’ve done an outstanding job in placement, variety, cleanliness.

Brand new neighborhood and wonderful homes in one of the best cities in the SFCOBAY👍

Cute park located in very safe neighborhood. Has shaded picnic tables, playground structure, and full court basketball area! The only downside is: No restrooms.

Great little park. Went mid day and not too crowded. Great play equipment! Several slides and a mini climbing rock wall! We had a good time

Nice big neighborhood playground. There are several slides and climbing features. Nothing huge, but enough to keep a 6 year old or younger occupied for 30 minutes to an hour at least. There is plenty of shade from the large shade canopies covering the play structures. There is a drinking fountain and a misting tower if you need to cool down. There is also a bike rack and bike repair "station" (tall stand for fixing a flat or simple repair).

No place to sit. Bring your own chairs.

Wide open space for all kinds of outdoor activities. Several picnic tables and BBQ pits. Climbing and swings for the kids. Baseball diamonds and Basketball hoops. Good family venue in a nice neighborhood.

This is such a wonderful Park to come to. I love the shade in the summer months and the playground is great with lots of different activities. Nice Shady trees, big basketball court and walking paths. Nice big grassy areas to run and play sports in as well. Great quiet neighborhood. There are two playgrounds, one for bigger kids and one for smaller kids. It is perfect for our family since we have a 6 and 2 year old. The park has always been clean and nice to visit

Family fun in the sun! There's a huge community pool here, playground equipment and sports field for Rose Garden homeowners.

Super cute! It's the perfect size for toddlers.

Cute but overrun with black widow spider nests. Found two egg sacks under the train itself. Needless to say my three year old and I didn't stay long.

This park is for very young toddler age to about 4 yrs old. The shade was plentiful and pick nick benches all had BBQs. Water fountain and small sand box. This park, like most in Brentwood, had tanbark ground cover which brings the star rating down as well as the lack of playground structure for any kids older than 4. I should mention there are two swings but both are for toddlers. It was perfect for my needs at the time but overall this just for little kids not big kids.
