This place was absolutely beautiful relaxing not too busy. Great way to cool off escape the valley.
Dogs kids families can enjoy the day here swimming, plenty of shade to avoid the sun

We went here since Slide Rock was too packed and it was nice here. Everyone sort of gathered near the entry to the creek, so the vortex area was really peaceful with a nice view of Cathedral Rocks from afar. You can find many trails from here when walking past the creek.

Absolutely great staff. The creek was so soothing.
Sadly, extremely limited parking on the weekend. They do have a shuttle/Uber lady who will drive you to and from closest alternate free parking. The just $3 to enter. If you’re meeting people set a spot to meet before going to the creek. Phone signal is also limited.
Beautiful park! Such a fun place to take kids to swim in the creek. Parking is $12 and is limited. Parking gets full on busy days like Saturday mornings. Parking was full on Saturday in July by 10:30am. You can park in the neighborhood leading into the park but that is limited as well and a far walk depending where you park.

Keep in mind people...when you go to these kinds of places and want to spend time with your family. Please just understand, when a family goes out of their way to stay away from large crowds, chooses their own spot and you stumble across a family having fun in their own spot... simply just go and find yourself another spot, tons of area and places to play. Overall great day other than weird guys coming to be around a family having fun, and even more so, some unpleasant families trying to make their ways into your space.

Wonderful place to visit. Beautiful scenery and easy trail. Be aware of rattle snakes.

Be aware guys parking spots are small so come early!!!employees not the best customer service👎🏽, do not unload on the turn around!! Reservations are for “big groups”. Parking is a mile out, residents will “call cops” as the employees stated lol . Dirty bathrooms , no handwash station only sanitizer outside . Place is beautiful though so I hope this helps 😂

Ecstatic dance Thursdays with live DJs. Lots of dancers show up. Dogs and children too. The pavilion is shaded. Grassy area to lie back. Dance floor is a kind of cement so best to dance lightly on the feet. Peaceful easy going accepting atmosphere
Get there early, parking is limited. Don’t forget your anti-slip shoes because the red rock is slippery in some areas. Great out door fun, very peaceful and relaxing.

Every beautiful park, my family enjoyed coming here.

I do wish they had a shower stall to rinse off.
But over it was a beautiful experience. Highly recommend

I love Arizona and this is one of my favorite parks. The guy who sold us tickets was so cooperative and helpful. The road from Flagstaff to Sedona is true adventure too. Amazing views!!!

Cool park with some awesome downhill trails/tracks with jumps and berms etc
We didn't have that kind of bikes so we stayed on the easy trail

This was an okay place to explore…nothing super super exciting like bell rock. Also, it’s a mountain lion state park, so hikers be aware!! It was $7/person to get in. Skip this place and go to Tortilla Flat, much better choice!

The trails are well maintained and you can't beat the view! We chose their "hardest" trail, Eagle's nest, which was a little challenging and short. My only complaint is that the signage for the trails tends to be confusing. The up/down arrow doesn't seem to be consistent.

Always beautiful no matter if you take the drive through the park or stop to enjoy it. It's clean and views never disappoint. You can stop in Crescent Moon are to swim etc it's definitely a must due atleast once if you've never been. If you're lucky you may even see some wild life. There are so many different hiking trails as well. So bring your gear and make a day out of it.

Great park! I have littles ages 10 months-4.5 years old and each of them had a great time. Plus the view was just beautiful! We missed out on the season where the splash pad is operating but that looks fun as well. My only complaint would be parking. There are not that many spots or it was very busy the day I went. I’m from out of town so I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing.
A beautiful place to walk or hike, and there is a mini nature museum in the visitor center. All the rangers provided great recommendations for our hikes and picture spots. The paths were pretty clear and there is a great variety of levels.

Nice area to picnic. Electrify America fast charger available. Beautiful views of red rock.
Love the breath scenery here. We played a round of disc golf at the neighboring Sedona Disc Golf Course, truly stunning course.

This park was ok. Not wonderful but a decent play ground... or so you'd think. They however have that plastic ground that's super cancerous and banned in Europe so I would never bring my child here. I came to ground and the grass is hard, dry, and brown. I know it's winter in the desert. But I've also found other parks nearby with green grass. So all in all. It will do in a pinch if I need to ground and am in a rush, and can get over rock hard pokey grass stabbing me.

My grandchildren love to visit this park. There are two covered play areas with fixed play equipment and both have foam rubber ground cover to protect from a fall injury. One area has small play items for preschool age. The second area has more challenging play items for school age children. The park also has a water play concrete area with various water sprays in the summer. Lastly there are tennis courts and open grassy areas and a few picnic tables.

Very nice community part. Tennis courts, picnic tables, restrooms, and a kids splash pad. I wish I brought my tennis stuff, tennis with a view! They also have some charging stations as well.

We had family in town with a two year old. He and his parents LOVED this park, especially the 5 or so water features. Lots of screams and running in and out of the water park. Very fun to watch for a great Aunt!!! Time we'll spent and beautifully maintained park.
Go with family or friends and enjoy!!🥰
Great photograph spot for the backside of Cathedral Rock. Very easy trail. Minimal parking space though. If it’s rained recently, you’ll be able to get some amazingly cool reflection shots, and it’s a great spot for sunset. Takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the large Mesa rock from the parking area. If you’re into photography, definitely check this spot out!!
Feeling a state of calmness, our untroubled minds wanted to be close to Cathedral Rock that symbolizes these. Since we weren't up for a real hike, we wandered to #SecretSlickrock. Slickrock is no secret to locals, as they say, tourists see the world, travelers explore it. This is an easy, 0.4 mile short, rarely visited trail to a wide, flat area of solid rock with the best view of #CathedralRock.
The weather took a turn when we got to the platform, it was hard to get decent photos but we had fun jumping and running around and shouting at the top of your lungs (destressing) like children LOL! It'll be nice to come back here, seriously.

Love love love sunset park. Walking trails, friendly people and kids. The splash pad is free, but in the sun, so sunscreen! It's 10-5 I believe and the button to turn it on is on the pad itself.

The littles play area and the big kids play area are well kept and always fun.

Visiting from Wisconsin, we stopped here every day this week. Very nice shaded area and grassy area for our dog. Beautiful views to the north. Great park system in Sedona!
This was not on our list, reached here while driving the upper scenic route on our way back from Red Rock State park. It offers an awesome Vista and we loved it. Just spent 30 minutes on the trail which was pretty easy.
Absolutely beautiful and shaded with a variwty of landscapes and views! We spent an entire day here just to relax and enjoy because it is THAT nice! Talk to the locals and find out about the secret enterance! ;)

The play ground is up on the hill to the left when you drive in. Really nice playground just installed in 2022. There are 6+ pavilions with grilling areas great for a picnic. Public restrooms and vending machines are available. A wonderful park for families with children of all ages.
We got the secret slick Rock trailhead at about 10:30 in the morning, and park the car as we hike down to Buddha Beach. Hike is about a mile long before you get close to Buddha Beach, maybe 1.5 MI. Be careful sometimes they tow vehicles that aren't parked inside the parking area. Buddha Beach area was fun water felt great. Make sure you're ready to search for the Beach area and bring a compass, cuz you can get lost

Great place to walk my dogs. Has a nice area for kids too. The surrounding sites of the mountains were great. Be aware of Coyotes in the neighborhood. They were wandering the street just outside the park.
This is an easy short hike to N open red rock with an incredible view of Cathedral Rock and Crescent Moon! The trail head is marked at the top of Chavez Ranch Rd. Not to far from the back gate of the entry to Crescent Moon Ranch house. It's only about .7 mi and we'll worth it! Have your camera ready!!
Easy and accessible trail. You can park and then take a small walk to the top of the "slick rock". It probably takes about 7-10 min to get to the top of the rock. Once you're at the top, I would suggest bringing a little blanket and having a picnic. Definitely bring sun block, it's all sun and very little shade. Super beautiful views!
Beautiful place to hike, watch the sunrise or get married, take your pick. On a hot summer day just get in the creek.

We stopped here to grill some burgers on their park grills. They have bathrooms and trash cans, as well as a playground, a skate park, and a dog park :). This is a great park in the mist of some beautiful scenery!

This is a great park, loved the grass, nice clean grounds, the views were perfect. There were picnic tables under shaded ramadas. Excerise series.
