We were just checking River out. Access is good. Boat ramp in great shape. No real amenities except for an old forgotten picnic table thru the poison ivy.

We ALWAYS stop here and picnic with our kids when we are in Searcy or even just driving by. The playground is great. The bathrooms are clean. The picnic tables are shaded.

I'm from Missouri and took my grandbabies there to meet my son a resident of Searcy who suggested this park, they had cool play places, and bike trail with ramps, wooden bridges and jumps, lots trails etc, it really a nice place to visit.

Largest park in Searcy. Has quite a bit to do. Could use some remodeling on some of the play equptiment. New pickle ball courts/tennis courts. Nice paved walking path. Has a small baseball field attached to field part. Cute little creek that runs through there. Wheel chair accessible swings for anyone with any special needs.

Playground, restroom with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; beautiful trail. What more could you ask for.

Edit: I think there’s some poison ivy around.

Amazing park with tennis courts and Pickleball courts!!! Very clean and inviting. Playground equipment for children. Love playing Pickleball here. Be sure not to leave valuables in your vehicle and lock your car when you leave it in the parking lot.

The doggy poo bags have been missed dearly. Bring some Walmart snacks or something!

Love Searcy and all it’s parks! Very friendly and safe environments for family’s. And they always have an amazing Christmas display up for the holidays. We’ll kept park. WITH restrooms! Also can’t forget about the great walking/bicycle trails that start at Berryhill park.

Small little dog park that is a quick and easy stop if you need to let your dog go run and play. Few activities but big enough fenced in area your dog can get all the zoomies out.

Nice place for sitting and listening to your favorite podcast or a Sunday afternoon nap, or both!

Quiet, intimate, and remote feeling. It's a great place to take daily walks in my opinion! It's always nice when your looking at the different trees as you pass by vs different cars!

Nice little park. Has a good walking path around the park, mostly in the shade. Has a couple of well kept tennis courts. Basketball goal, and some standard playground equipment.

Stumbled upon this park during Christmas time. Very beautiful. They also had an officer out there walking around which was nice.

Very Small...Searcy needs to be more dog friendly
Finally got some decent bathrooms to use. Now, they just need to fix the bathrooms that have been there.

Beautiful park. Not sure why we needed so many pickle ball courts when we could have had several different types of sports courts there. But otherwise great park and well maintained.

The park itself was great. My young kids (3, 6, 9) had a blast. The Little Tikes merry go round was perfect. It's hard to find playgrounds that keep my oldest and my youngest satisfied at the same time, but Yancey park was able to do so. It is really easy to get to and we were able to park in the shade all day. The only drawback is that there were a number of teenagers who were smoking marijuana upwind from the playground equipment. The smoke blew right down to us. It smelled like a rock concert for about an hour. I mean, smoke what you want, but be considerate of others.

Good lil spot for a band to perform but that's about it as far as a park goes

Only downfall for us was the distance from the parking to the heavily shaded area because I have to use a motorized chair.
Love the quiet surroundings.

It would have been better if somebody wouldn't have left at least a dozen fish chopped up on the beach.

It used to be pretty nice there. It looks like no one is taking care of it anymore. I can see Searcy or the county dont want to put money into it. The old train caboose is gone. They never finished the walkway on the trails. Seems like the wooden overlook is in good shape. Hate when a city only worries about one park and not the rest.
Not a good spot to tank your dog.

Nice park! Seperate fenced areas for dogs over/under 40 lbs, smaller pens for pups, kiddie pools for playing in or drinking water! Well kept and clean.

Our little one loves the playground equipment! There is also a walking path, covered pavilion, and there *were* tennis courts, but they appear to be under major construction right now. The playground is pretty close to a busy road, so that is something to keep in mind if you have a child with a tendency to dart. Overall, great park in Searcy!

Glad there's somewhere for dogs to meet up. Small areas for LG & Sm dogs. But could definitely be expanded. I can throw a ball further than the length.

Calm place to launch your boat. The river has a low dam a bit lower down. You can hike down to the dam by following the trails past the boat launch.

A beautiful little park with a nice asphalt jogging path that is about 1/3 of a mile, well-kept tennis courts, a playground, and picnic tables. There is a sign about a city ordinance forbidding dogs except service animals, so if you are coming here, keep that in mind.

There's a side for under 40lbs and over 40lbs. Big fenced in area with a water spigot. May need to bring a bowl. Great for playing with other dogs, but may want to bring toys Incase you're the only ones there.

Good simple little park. Small walking trail surrounding a small play ground. Some spread out picnic tables. It wasn't very busy on a Sunday afternoon, so it's probably not very populated most of the time.

Riverside Park has a few more minute is that when I was a kid but it’s basically unchanged. When I was 12 or 13 years old we used to go out and walk down the steps to the river. They were steep and treacherous but fun. You can no longer do that they’re blocked off but you can walk up on the cliffs and walk through the crevices and caves and trails. It’s a beautiful example of our natural state. Arkansas is a beautiful state and right here in Searcy Arkansas we have many beautiful examples. Take your family out for a picnic or just walk the trails I think you’ll like it.

Searcy dog park is a great little place for my puppy to run around and burn off some energy. She loves playing with the other dogs there and meeting new ones. It is really nice that it is split in two because then it gives them an opportunity to meet through the fence before being bombarded by all the other dogs. I never have to worry about Leah being safe because the gate is well put together and sturdy. The water is changed out consistently and I’ve never had an issue with it being messy in the fenced area.

Yancey Park is just a few blocks from my home. I go there frequently, to practice my tai chi forms. It's a nice little park, pretty popular in the neighborhood.

The new improvements to the park are nice. I have nothing negative to say except that i have been to several other dog parks that are much nicer. The park could definitely be improved by providing poop bags and water. Right now people using the park need to provide their own.

The walking path needs to be updated... tree roots have grown, making the path lumpy. The playground equipment is dated and has been vandalized to where kids can't play safely on swings.
Does have a few pavilions that are nice for parties or get togethers.

Yancey Park is a nice little park in the middle of town. It has tennis courts, a walking trail, a basketball court, a playground, and pavilions. We have rented a pavilion for a party before, and have attended multiple other such parties.

Urban City Park. Would be nice place for lunch for people that work down town if there were picnic tables. I keep the planters filled with flowers so they are enjoyable. The birds seem to like it there. Lots of photographers bring their subjects there to be photographed.
