If you are looking for a super quiet and peaceful place to walk and admire nature then you found your spot. It was so quiet when I went that I would only talk in subdued tones because it was so peaceful. Just 30 minutes north of Sacramento right off the highway. When I was there I was the only one there on a Sunday afternoon. Saw lots of wildlife.

Disc Golf. 3 disc golf baskets. No disc golf tee pads, but a fun place to throw discs and play the game of disc golf.

my kods loved it so i gove it a cool 😎 5stars
This place is like magical woodlands. Love the trails that are maintained by a very dedicated group of volunteers.
I took my kids for a walk here. It was really nice outside. There is lots of shade. We spotted some turtles in the water. Do be sure to bring sunscreen and water.

I'm only rating this place three stars because there is no bathroom. If you don't live close to this park and you're just visiting and your child has to go to the bathroom you're kind of out of luck unless you load them up and drive 5 Miles down the road to the nearest CVS
This is a small and quiet but very nice park. It is typically clean and well maintained with a nice grass area but a good-sized playground with wood chips.

It's a nice walking path close to the river. Beautiful and peaceful scenery as you're walking along. There's little check points that tell you how far you've walked. Little side paths to cut back the way you came of you don't wanna walk the whole thing. Great benches, a few gazebos that are well maintained. Very convenient parking. When we went as we were coming back there was a security guard patrolling, so that was nice. There wasn't a lot of trash everywhere. Also it has these cool informational stopping signs that explain the area, it's animals, native plants and trees and how the are came to mind to be brought to life. It was overall a really Great experience.
Great winter walk through nature. Easy trail, well marked. Gentle rolling up and down but mostly level. Easy to take a running stroller.

Nice clean park, wish it had bathrooms for people that don't live in the area but my kids had a blast
definitely not the place to bring your dog, but the birding is outstanding. About 400 plus acres of refuge bordering the feather river. the trails are well marked best to come in the spring and fall, summer can get hot and very buggy

I love this park my son loves it too
Fleas in the grass. Otherwise it's fairly nice. Shady, good place for a family gathering or bb-q. It has playground equipment for the kids and a swimming pool.
Nice trails, good variety of habitats, clearly marked trails, tons of birds and wildlife. We went early morning, saw beaver and raccoon plus many many bird species. Nice place to botanize and enjoy the odonates too. Free but donate if you can do we can keep this nice place.
When I arrived we had 5 people with us which cost us $35, when we got in there was a big amount of people, not much space to place our items tho, theres one side meant for kids and another that's a bit deeper, and it also goes down to 13ft

Lots of shade and lots of sun too. Little kid play ground and big kid playground, including taller, longer swings for adults too. Playgrounds have slides, rock climbing, ladders, balance log, climbing obstacles, balancing obstacles, monkey bars, bridge, tic tac toe, wood chips for landing in, and benches at or away from the playgrounds. There's also a basketball court, walking/biking path walk and sidewalk, big grassy areas for other activities as well. No bathrooms though.

Great place. It's got its own Porta potty for when you gotta drop a duce In a legit oven but you know how they are anyways haha. Great place. It has benches grills tire pumps it had lil wrench set idk if some crack head took em I walk by their every other day but it also has a bike spot its got its own outside gym. Which I think is pretty cool. And god is watching those very nice bathrooms. I'll make you walk the plank if you ruin that bathroom. It's got windows its like a mini house.
Great place to go when the kids are hot. This town has very little to do for the kids. So I'm grateful for this place. It does get crowded. Sometimes too crowded to be enjoyed outside of cooling off. But the pricing is decent and the options are slim to none...so you decide if it's worth it or not. We go every summer 😄
Lots of shady trees to sit under!! But if you take your dogs make sure you pick them up before they walk in the hot hot hot sand🐾
Water was a nice temperature, level, and flow for end of July. Sandy entry into water beware of tree roots under water. Lots of trees for shade with even more fluff blowing around off them. Needs more restrooms. Quite noisy but still nice, can hear city traffic, sirens and motocross track on other side of water. Parking lot closes at 9
Great way to spend a few hours with the kids. Never too crowded. Nice hidden gem 😁

I’d give it a negative star if I could the life guards almost allowed multiple kids to drowned while walking around harassing my 6 year old daughter not letting her do anything making her cry it was so horrible I wanted to go speak with someone about it and they all act with as if there’s no on in charge to speak with definitely would be nice if they were adult life guards and bad attitude teenagers definitely needs some new management
Best place to go swimming if it's really hot big pool great for the little kids nice park you can barbecue plenty of shade big swimming pool you can have lots of fun with your family great spot
It's always a great experience at AJs sandwiches I try something different every time it's never been a let down for my taste buds and my belly love the food they serve and the hospitality

Its a nice park. But if you fallow the marks you often get stuck. Most of the trail road are destroyed. You have to travel back from the same path again again. Unlike what map suggests. The trail road are damaged by water collected within the trail road.

Great walk with your dog, on their leash per California law, as most agree. Watch as your pet stalks the squirrels that run amok within the North Yuba City neighborhood park. Good start for your morning exercise jaunt..
Nice quiet wildlife refuge with tons of birds. Not too many people. There's a couple loops and the trailhead has an old map but the trails are well kept. Lots of wild grape, blackberry, elderberry, and plum right now (end of August). There are lots of turtles in the pond as well. Bring binoculars. The trails are flat but can be a little dusty. When you enter, go straight towards the end of the road, past two speed bumps and one large metal grate. Free parking! There are only 5 ish parking spots.

Lots of shaded chairs. 2 basketball half courts. Big enough grass field for a pug soccer game/etc. kid playground options and picnic areas. I didn't see bathrooms and no access to clean water. Water fountain is out of service. If you can hold it and don't need water it's a good spot.
Very nice afternoon. Clean and lots of shade to sit in and watch the kiddos play in the water. Perfect current and sand was soft and beautiful and Sparkling.
Potential but uninviting. Passing through I stopped as a visitor from out of town thinking this might be a good place to enjoy breakfast I picked up. A few shady people loitering/living out of the parking lot though kept me from leaving my car out unattended. After eating I tried to use the restrooms but they were dead bolted. A clear sign that they encourage public defecation and urination over decency which explains the lingering smell of feces through the air only subdued by a park worker driving a motorized tractor along the walking path spraying caustic chemicals on the already sparse and naked landscape. Not likely to return or suggest anyone else visit.
Nice area. Clearly an on going improvement project; lots of potential. Too many guests ignoring the no alcohol and no tobacco signs.

This is my favorite spot to go Mama five here and it's just a lifesaver especially when you have two toddlers. Three older kids take off do their thing you know they're safe with all the lifeguards always clean the snack bar isn't outrageous but we always bring an ice chest with food and after the swimming session we go out and have a picnic at the park.
Cute themed playground, I really enjoy the variations of play structures. Really nice open field part that's great for picnics or sports. Nice landscaping, 10/10.

I have taken my son here for baseball practice a few time. It is a very nice park. I also took my 4 year old with us and he had a lot of fun playing at the parks. Cool place.
I love coming here on my lunch break. There are picnic benches, a cemented & dirt bike/walking path and of course the river! It’s beautiful, peaceful and relaxing if you need to just get away. If you enjoy nature & being outside then go check it out.

For those Tierra Buena/Royo Rancho parents who are watching their kids grow up without a neighbor palyground/park, this modest park is likely your closest bet, but hey unlike our nice neighborhood which has zero parks, if you don't like Greenwood park there are multiple other parks within a few blocks of Greenwood. Thanks Yuba City it feels great knowing the millions raked in from our property taxes are supporting the biannual street sweeper.

Found a very used syringe under the playground equipment. The homeless frequently hang out there, and it smells bad of urine.

Just moved to the neighborhood. My son loves this park. It was packed during the holiday break. Has handicap and baby swings, lots of toys to play on, and a lot of free space for sports activities. No restrooms.
I love this place. I go here at least once a month. Its a short drive from Yuba City and it is a beautiful trail. It branches off to different trails that are all clearly marked (you can also grab a map at the entrance) so you can go often and not experience the same walk evwry time. You can do a short walk or turn it into several miles. I have seen peacocks and lizards, a bullsnake, birds amd butterflies. There is poison oak by the trails, but you will not come into contact if you stay on the trails. There are often other people on the trails but you can walk and not see them since there are numerous trail options. Its a relatively flat walk and easy for kids or beginners. Beautiful for anyone who loves to see the trees and whats left of the river.

We've been to several parks in the area and of those, Holly Tree Park has been the best. Very clean and well maintained. The structures are geared towards children 12 and under and is fantastic for my 2 year old.

Lots of shade and very well maintained park with no graffiti or broken playgrounds parts. This is my 3 year old's favorite park. The only thing missing is "big kid" swings. They have dog poop bags and shaded picnic areas. We drive from Linda past many other parks to get to this one!

Best park in Yuba City, it has large flat field’s great for football, soccer or even volleyball. The are plenty of large shade trees two basketball courts. The are also picnic benches and open spaces. There two playgrounds for kids they even have a sand pit. Plenty of parking and it’s very clean by far the best park in town.

Small park, not very well placed. Queens is an active street for traffic, though smartly placed next to a 7/11 market store.
Diamond in the rough . surronded by majestic trees and play area for the kids and all surrounding a walking trail

Our grandkids love playing at this well maintained park. They always get along with the other kids that they don't even know. Nice neighborhood. I'd recommend taking your children to this park. There are a few cement tables to sit at so you have a little picnic. And lots of grassy ground to fly a kite or play catch or throw a frisbee.
It's definitely a place to go if you're looking to soak up some rays while your kids play. I took a friend's kids there and they had A-blast. The lawn is well kept, the playground is updated and not falling apart. It's quiet and peaceful.

This park has 2 play structures that have lots to keep the kids entertained. My kids call it the "Beastmaster park" because they run the play structure completing "obstacles" like on the show. There is even little rock wall. There are two baby swings. Benches to sit on and a decent amount of shade. Fun park to bring the kids to but no bathrooms.
Very nice historic museum of Sutter and Yuba Historical events. Special Event showings. A nice variety of artists showings from the past to current. Parking lot small, gift store, restrooms and a nice knowledgeable staff throughout the week.

This is a small city park, less than an acre. The upkeep is ok. There is a nice jungle gym for the kids with benches for alert parents. There may be a small amount of drug use, but overall not too bad if you are not able to go to a larger park in the local area

It has trees. It has a playground. It has a nice open area to run around or play catch in. There are some benches, a sidewalk and a dog waste station that usually has plastic baggies provided. It doesn't have bathrooms, drinking fountains, or basketball hoops. It's also a bus stop for kids, so expect some traffic in mornings and afternoons during the school year

Well maintained park and play structures. 1 for small children and another for older children. Large grass area with a backstop for family and friends softball games. There is not a groomed infield. Nice walking path around the park. A school is next to it which you may be able to park at if the street parking is full.

Has a large climbing structure for older children, as well as a separate area for small children to play and not get trampled by fast moving bigger kids. Has lots of sidewalks and paths to ride your bikes, skateboards and anything else that moves you.

Aside from the sketchy deals going on in the cars that occasionally pull up this is my favorite park!! It's out of the way and usually quiet. huge open grassy area to let ur dog loose in!!!! there are two secret entrances from the streets surrounding the park. a really special park
