Very nice boat launch with great parking.
Very cute paved trial; however, it’s very short and the wooden section in the beginning has unmanaged rot damage on a few planks of wood.
Such a beautiful place! So many trails, photo ops and things to do.

Went to check out the dam park and the damn park was closed. I believe due to deer hunting. We drove around the dam road which is a good view of the lake, but due to the park being closed there wasn’t a good spot anywhere.

This is a local attraction I’m told so I’m sure if you come here when it isn’t deer season, there would be a lot to do.

I just got this one quick picture and don’t have much to say but maybe someday I’ll be back since I stayed with a local in Sugar Hill nearby

Too many ppl die mysteriously at this lake.
If u don't know how this lake was made u should probably do some research before ever going inside!!!!
I love walking this stretch and wish the city would find away to expand the walking trail, similar to the Greenway.
Great place for a group picnic.. Good spacious sheds with sitting benches. Overall a great facility, rest rooms you may have to walk a bit long depending on your picnic slot.. Rent was also very fair, book in advance for weekends.. Weekdays are pretty open..
Great to relax, picnic and nice photos
Buford, please make more places like this! Help this trail connect to more. It’s a lovely little blip, but our community would love more!

I run through Buford, and while it is one of my favorite parts of the run, it lasts less than 2 minutes! We have an active community, and more parks and trails would enhance it considerably.

It's more quaint compared to Buford Dam park access, there are several hidden small beaches scattered around the beach access area as well as picnic and grill spots, the beach access's location is the closest right turn from the main entrance before the boat ramp/launch. The main beach area has yellow pipes border for the swim area and of course there is no lifeguard on duty, wearing life jacket is always a good idea 💡😀💡 safety first people than you can have fun all day long 😄👍
Beautiful centerpiece to the entrance of LLI surrounded by flags

Nice area with beach and picnic areas. Lots of free parking available. Great place to swim, walk, fish or picnic. Restrooms available. No pets allowed.
I visited on Sunday evening and the entry fee was $5. A nice, calm lake beach. More suitable for a family day out and good for kids. Since it was summertime and weekend, very much crowded. Restroom was ok. The playground is available for kids. The picnic area is also nice.

Excellent hike, beautiful lake views, and lots of spaces for large-party picnics. Also sighted a few deer during the hike.

This is a very nice, quiet park where we we will be hosting a family reunion. A couple of improvements that would take it to five stars would be to construct two shelters for rent over in the beach area. There's space for at least two. This will allow people to enjoy the beach while having gatherings. Especially gatherings with children. The beach isn't at all visible from the shelters, so, if you have people in your gathering who also want to enjoy the beach, then you won't be together because the beach is about a quarter mile from the shelters with no direct line of sight. Very poor planning. The 2nd would be to construct a bathroom in the area where the three shelters are. Currently, there's one bathroom and it's down the hill, about a quarter mile from the shelters. Not user-friendly at all for shelter renters.
Wasn't worth getting out of the car for, it was a quick walk back and forth.
Very short trail, but beautiful! Minimal parking but there shouldn’t be a problem finding a space. Definitely worth a visit.

We go here often with the kids, it's clean and a beautiful area. Haven't tried fishing here but it's a great spot to hang out and grill for a few hours.
Beautiful in the Fall.
Nice place to go walk and clear your head.

Nice & clean beach/lake area. Easy to navigate to the swimming area, park access is $5 via machine CARD ONLY. Water is clear and calm. Ppl fish here as well. No available lifejackets, there are yellow buoys in place to separate deep end from the shore.

Nice place for grill, and amazing view. The beach is alright. Lay back and have some drinks and cook. Definitely recommend it.
Nice place for grill, has more charcoal gril available with park bench. Walking tail in woods is awesome
Perfect. Short tranquil trail with beautiful trees and views of the water. Great location next to Downtown Buford and plenty of nice pedestrians. Highly recommend.
Serene place for a quick neighborhood walk.
Love this park!! Very spacious and calm. You can find little spots for picnic

Lake Lanier is always beautiful in any point. I love east bank because of plenty of BBQ grills and picnic tables. Parking lot is bigger compare to others as well
Cost $5 to get in but launches are nice, good location too, short boat ride to sunset cove and the theme park, clean bathrooms available too
This place has two bridges. One is a wooden bridge on the left of the parking lot that is closed and you cannot cross unfortunately. But on the left of that bridge there was a spot with calm water that kids were able to play, get wet, enjoy nature and be...kids !

The second bridge on the right is leading to a park after you cross the water with beautiful view on both sides (right side you can see the dam). Please watch your kids as the water is very powerful and you will nwed to be careful! That park has also a parking lot that you can originally just park there. There is a small ramp access to the water in that park too.

Both paths going to bridges are accessible with wheelchairs ! ♿

=> The whole MAGIC is happening on the left of the first bridge, though. Park and walk to the left, going to the entrance, and there is a path going down to trees. Follow it and there is the beautiful trail to walk a good bit of a distance !!! Really beautiful !

So, you want a view? You got it.
You want to connect with nature in a beautiful trail? You got it.
You want to have fun and let your kid run in the park? You got it. That place worth it!!!

Nice boat ramp. Love the clarity of the water. Plenty of parking space
This place was awesome! Great atmosphere as usual and just as good food!
Drove through during Christmas and admired the spectacular light show. Single price for a vehicle. Must see if you are there during the holiday season.
Excellent Christmas light display with animation that will please young and old with holiday cheer. The beach area has many rides and a snow slide coupled with food and beverages.
Beautiful

Perfect for putting my (unpowered) sailboat into the lake. The ramps are sheltered, but there is easy access to the main body of the lake where the winds are stronger.

Watch the trees on the approach to the ramp with your mast raised, though. They can be avoided, but you need to be aware they're there.

Nice place to launch your boat...however, on weekends, why is the line SO long to get in? There is a guard shack and it seems like folks spend way too long paying the fee to get into the park. Pay your fee and get out of the way.

Also noted: The boat dock is for parking your boat, not for fishing, working on your boat, or entertaining others. Let's be considerate of others waiting.

A great place to do a group picnic. It is like a private lake front back yard. Nice view with quite atmosphere. Reservation is a must. Barbeque pit has a roof over so whether shine or rain cooking is endless.
A very great time to remember, I was with great company and the experience couldnt have been more memorable.
This is one of my best place !!!
Wonderful venue and event's!

This is a nice boat Ramp. There are three, wide lanes that are separated by small curbs. There is a floating dock and plenty of parking, although I would bet on a popular day the area will fill fast (because of its ease of access and proximity for those coming from Atlanta). The distance to no-wake zones isn't far. I don't remember any public bathroom or other facilities, which kept me from 5-starring the place.

A woodsy lake park with nice views & amenities. Beach swim area, picnic tables, grills, boat ramps, pavilion. $5 entry fee for cars. Can be crowded on weekends. Minus a ⭐ for inconveniently located restrooms.
