Gorgeous gardens, with lovely quiet shady spaces to sit under the trees. A shame that the public toilets are closed on weekdays especially when you have young children and elderly utilising the park.

Such a beautiful walk along the river. Hopefully the flood damaged sections will reopen soon. Plenty of tree cover up until the bridge.

We visited Macarthur Park with our grandpuppy, and all of us enjoyed the atmosphere totally. Our grandpuppy explored what the park had to offer, and did it offer a lot! In the park we came across a mini rain forrest, we call it the "rainforrest walk" ; we followed a meandering path which led us through palms, ferns and seats. What a lovely afternoon.

One of my favourite Parks in Camden. A landscaped garden with a lot of Australian native trees and with an interesting war memorial and tea pavilion. Perfect for a picnic since it is extremely well kept, so that you candid everywhere on the beautiful lawn. The rose garden is delightful.

Came here for a softball tournament. Field and area were very well maintained. Credit to the team taking care of the softball diamonds. Great job, well done.
Went to the park in October, hoping to enjoy Jacaranda Blossom. We didn't realise we were too early for such season....yet we were pleased by how peaceful and delight this park is. If only we had more of this park in every suburb, our life expectancy would have increased enormously.

Beautiful large grounds and a lovely small park to visit. Sit underneath a tree and unfold your picnic rug for a perfect picnic spot. Lovely in Autumn and Spring.

A well tended and appropriate local venue to hold the Remembrance Day Service. The council keeps the park in excellent condition all year round. There are wonderful views and a Spring picnic is always enjoyed in this area in walking distance to Camden Town.

Needs a bit of tidying up around the grounds. Toilets have soap and paper towels available. Playgrounds are great for kids. Lots of picnic tables and area's for family.
Mum took me here on summer time. The Park is so pretty, flowers and roses and landscape. Perfect place for picnic with families and friends.

The showground in everyday life is beautifully kept, dog friendly on leash with a water station by the grandstand.
During show time, just before Easter, it is a hive of country show activity.

What a lovely area to go for a stroll or simply to obtain some much-needed mental clarity!
I can't believe how well-kept the park is, and how much room there is for the children to run around and play!
A wonderful location for a wedding or a picnic with the family.
I really enjoy coming here.

Great country show
All the things at the Easter show only smaller, with parking, smaller crowds, old and new farm equipment
There is even a place to sit down for a wine or two
Camden Show, excellent day today from start to finish. Great entertainment and lots of fun. Take a packed lunch, food is pricey.

Great little area on the edge of Camden. It has off-street parking, a playground, and a shelter. And BBQs. Camden is very well served by parks and open areas. And usually in very good condition. Clean and safe. Thank you to the people who look after these public areas.
If you love rich nature, animals in their natural surroundings and nice people along the way then this is the place for you. Park in the car park off the main road and walk down the side of the baseball field till you get to a sweet little park. Awesome swings and no main road so less risk to the little ones who just need some space to be kids.

Great place to come for a walk / run or a bike ride. They have play equipment for the kids and opens up to a large grassed area for kicking a ball around.
We are city slickers who love coming here every year. A great place to get up close and personal with beautiful farm animals, sample a good array of fairground food and you can't help but feel that community spirit when walking around the grounds.

It can get pretty hot so make sure you bring lots of sunscreen, wear a hat and drink lots of water!

A great family day out and excuse to get out of the city!
Quite a nice quite walk from one end to the other great for families and fitness buffs!
Remember to take 1-2 bottles of water there are refill stations along the track.
