Right next to the court house. It's a good spot to grab lunch and smoke a cigarette. The lunch room for the people.

It's a nice hidden area with a water sprinkler that not many ppl know about but unfortunately it's getting dirty with a lot of trash lately... (No hiding shade in a summer)
This park in the beginning was built for the families in the community, But recently, the homeless, have invaded the park, And evidence of drug use are thrown all around the park. Hoping this will be resolved soon.
Perfect place for our family reunion. Was a beautiful day and a nice amount of shade in the area we were at. The sun was at a beautiful peak and were able to get some great photos from the reunion.
Lots of stuff do here. Nice place for early morning joggs . Basketball courts and indoor swimming pools are also a plus. Lots of special events are held at this location. Great for family gathering in the summer ☀️
Very beautiful and well kept park. This was a Rise Up New York concert. I had a beautiful time.
A great place to run/job/walk. Only wish they would clean the pond occasionally as there are turtles living in the water.
Lovely clean park, nice to jog around the lake. My only maybe Con would be the gangster Squirrels that are so accustomed to humans that they would run up by the picnic table while you're still there looking for food. They are friendly and not aggressive though.
Rise Up NYC 2023 was awesome this year. The safe atmosphere,the togetherness ,and definitely the entertainment was great. Looking forward to next year's event.
The park hosted a really great Reggae summer concert free of charge.
Several small paths going in different directions, one going to a dumpster, another going to a clearing. One main path, leading back around. Nothing really to see. Pretty mid, but it was still 😎
Had some great time and was impressed at the about of bathrooms set up. The ground was clean because there cleaners picking up trash all over the grounds. Trash bins were readily available. Vendors were well organized, but the food was too pricey.

A great place to take your children. The park has walking trails and is close to several Bus lines. A beautiful lake adds to an incredible scenery.
A lovely park in the middle of a bustling metropolitan area. There is plenty of space to picnic and even BBQ. There are benches along the pathway, near the lake and by the children’s playground. Lovely open spaces to play games and run around. Ample parking. My only negative would be the rest room area but it is in public space and I guess to be expected.

Such a beautiful 1 acre garden with a pond , great amount of amenities like many basketball courts , tennis courts, handball, and a baseball field. I came here for the second time in 20 years of living in this area.
I came for biking and found that the biking path is a bit bumpy for a road bike but decent . You could do a few laps here and get some exercise in.
I found a garden within the park called mother carter garden, read up on it and it was dedicated to a woman who served this park and made it what it is today
I wish we had more people like mother carter . The parks in Queens and the surrounding boroughs to Manhattan don’t receive the care and support they need to stay beautiful. There’s a heavy amount of foot traffic and not enough cleanup or maintenance services to compensate .
I pray for more mother carters who take care of the hearts of the city , which are these parks. There are many families who are moving out of the city to other places just because there are good parks where they can unwind and catch their breath after work or on the weekends.
My request to all who came here, please clean up after yourself, and let’s make this park as beautiful as it’s meant to be 🙏🏽

Not the most peaceful park because all you can really hear is the sound of cars passing by, but still nice.
The grass is very green and there are scattered flowers and birds and squirrels to look at.
It's also worth mentioning that this is a REALLY small park. It's practically just a walkway with some grass and a few trees on either side so definitely don't go out of your way to visit here.

Been taking afternoon strolls here and I have to say it is a beautiful park in my neighborhood! Typically well kept and plenty of room to walk, run bike. Whatever your heart desires.
Great park to take in nature and enjoy the views. A lot of room for dogs and for walks. Would recommend it if you need some fresh air. Has slides and swings in the playgrounds. Very clean and great place to watch ducks in the summer.
Hidden gem. Great place if you enjoy airplane watching. Quiet place if you want to escape the daily bustle
Wonderful place for idling your hectic day! Enjoy spotting planes.

Went for the Jerk fest. Park needs more bathroom facilities and garbage bins especially for the the areas were festivals and concerts atr kept. The lawn needs better care. It get very dusty or muddy due to the lack of grass.
Observe some dog poop around park and on the play ground, disappointed , park nice bit small , people shouldn’t leave their dog waste behind specially where your own kids play

The playground is new and nice but a lot of the things like the rock climb are poorly designed to the point it just decorations or some art thing not something meant to play on
Great space for kids ages 2-12 to run and play tag, fitted with a water sprinkler system for the summer time. It's a great place to take your kid for a spontaneous day of play, not so great for a planned event space.

The problem with Idlewild Park is that you have illegal dumping of debris along snake road and at the beltway across from Springfield Gardens Park. Recently the Parks department has pruned and cut down invasive trees!!

It's not a park for little kids younger than 4. There are no swings or small slides. But the sprinklers were nice.
Idlewild park is an excellent park for those who love to watch or play cricket 🏏. Ground staff does a truly awesome job of keeping the field perfect for playing and chilling out with friends and family

This park is deteriorated over a period of time. It has become some kind of hang out for some folks young and old smoking some really strong bud,so kids really cant enjoy this park like they should. I wouldn't take my son to this particular park at all.

My 3 year old loves this playground. The water feature is amazing and all the equipment is brand new.
Community Garden managed by neighborhood gardners. They give candies on Halloween 31 Oct.

Had to stop by here for a Pokemon raid. Good park but too noisy from traffic.

An amazing nature preserve, in the perimeter of JFK International Airport. A great place for hiking and off road bicycle riding.

I'm bias. I went to this school when I was young. Loved it then. Like to visit every now and then.
This will be a nice park if the renovation is completed. Right now, it doesn't look so good and I hardly see people around here. Have someone with you if you visit.
Very nice local trail up mountain for walkers and joggers as well as family trips. Well maintained grounds and beautiful scenery up top. Also have a fishing dock. Very very well maintained and set up.
Has a very nice view of the pond .and a nice bike trail for bike riding, or walking or jogging. And and a baseball ball field, also a large cricket field.

The winter time alike, with a really nice snow view.The pond looks Beautiful in the summer and winter. Remember never try to ice skate on the pond in the winter time with the pond frozen.
