I don't want to go
I love the park. But I hate that grown men are able to sit in the park and drink and watch little children. It's disgusting. I will never let my child go to the park alone.

It is a big park with playground and water sprinklers. Good place for picnic 🧺
They need to fix this park slide has been broken for over a year a lot of kids play here and the play area has grass growing in the box Kellogg Needs to do better come on mayor Baldwin they deserve a bigger play ground
Some homeless people, the low brown river and a bunch of garbage on the floor make it unpleasant to be there. It needs a little bit of more care and appeal.
Be aware of on lookers as I heard a man lurks around by the bushes near back just looking at children... I haven't spotted him but if I ever do I will surely confront him and call authorities I will post photos as well. Just be cautious
Absolutely amazing park for children during the summertime. My son loves this place where he gets to meet other friends from all around the neighborhood.
The field is Usually over crowded.
Kids are always leaving garbage behind.
Even to jog is crowded in the afternoons, best is to go in the morning if going for a walk or jog.

There is a bathroom in the park. And lots of things to do with the kids
I love it it's next to schools church and homes also people do birthday party and picnics over all I love it was my childhood.
Feels like you are in another state. If only for a few minutes. Bring your mountain bikes. There is even a stream running though it. :)

Nice and quiet place to play with the kids. The place is well preserved and not crowded. Easy to arrive on foot fron the hotels.
Has a great play set, it's a shame the city doesn't take care of the area. Covered in weeds, no mulch, mostly mud.
Carteret Park is a place that is local to me when i come here on weekends. It is alright, I can recommend it.
This neighborhood park has so much potential. I give one star for two major reasons. One- litter. So much of it. Two- upkeep. More specifically the playground needs attention. They’ve had a broken slide for over a year. They also have other parts of the playground that are broke that truly are a hazard.
This trail is walking distance from the Elizabeth Courthouse!
It seems I always get jury duty in the spring because I always enjoy seeing the cherry blossom in bloom.

This year, I had to renew my passport and noticed an art installation was added to the river trail. The artworks share the history of Elizabeth.

Good place to walk, but no way of fishing
This was a short path lined with homelessness and trash . I went to get a quick run in a new place but it’s less than a mile , filthy , and overrun with homelessness

Very accessible; nice jungle gym and swings for kids. Wish it was a little cleaner.
It's a small public park but is a good place to come to walk or run at any time. I guess the barbecues isn't permitted because I've never seen one but there are a playground for the kids.The train station is near.
Having attended university across the street, I have frequented this park and enjoy the exercise course they have. From the playground to the parcourse and the turf field, it is an excellent park has a nice walkway and 2 gazebos.

Elizabeth River trail is a nice trail to go walk catch some breath this person mind even those inside the city of Elizabeth it is still a nice place to relax chill also if you have a pad you can come and bring it with you to walk your dog or else you can come with your family or partner and come and enjoy a good little time nice sunset to watch
Needs to be done over , but it a cool little park
Great place to walk, it will lead you to the Goethals bridge so you can enjoy a nice walk into Staten Island

I been here for years always went to Jackson Park but it's not the same like it used to be back in the day but the thing is we have swings a playground area over the kids and Fitness
On the day going it was like 100+ degrees I played in the water it was fun and refreshing made me feel like a kid again.
People are usually respectful. Kids get along well. No restrooms 😔. City hall has teens there throughout the summer handing out snacks and drinks for the kids. I'm local so it's convenient but not much more exciting than your average park
my emo gf broke up with me at this park rawr Xd but I found a pigeon and ate it.
Really nice place for the kids to cool off. Went back riding with my sons went to cool off and they had lunches for the kids.

I think it's alright, not the greatest but there is a playground and a basketball court. Parking could be a problem as it's in the middle of densely populated area.
Terrible! Awful! Only people from Broad St belong playing in here and who in God knows what will they do when someone brings a moldy basket
Honestly, its a great way to relax and think about stuff. As you can see there's fish right inside the river since this is a River that goes around the whole place. But it seems dirty around the area but the water looks Clean. Just by walking around it it really helps a lot. There is a trail where you can look around the area and see the river. It could be a relaxation place for high school students (As the high school is close by).
This park is a gem find. It's a big and beautiful park. It have a awesome play area for the kids and even a workout section with machines
Its a small park but its very nice. Has a swing and large swing conjoined so a parent can swing with small child. Large playground area for big kids and small playground area for smaller kids.
This is a really great playground! My 2 year old son really loves it.
Such a fun place to visit with my 7 year old grandson. He loved it! Lots of assorted swinging & spinning structures, as well as many sizes of climbing structures and slides.

Beautiful little park. Glad I visited. It comes up so fast that I didn't even realize I was there. There definitely isn't a River here and sure enough one by Elizabeth. Which Elizabeth is it btw? The big one across the pond? We have a garden State Parkway, which I understand due to it being the motto of our here great state. But Elizabeth River?! I gotta get the story on that one one of these day.

Guarinanco park otherwise. I briefly was in a part of the park but noticed a terrible parking situation however, that's NJ for you. I would recommend going in the spring. I was visiting from out of town but have relatives in the area.
Relatively safe , generally clean a good place to escape the confines of ones home or apartment.
Elizabeth has come a long way. I'm in my mid 50s been around all my life, we have a Great Mayor(Mayor Bowage)this river and Montano park all the way to S.Broad Street. Beutiful well lit walkway nice and colorful. Now please let's keep it nice and clean it your Elizabeth. And remember SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING
Just left the park..kids on the swings..basketball game going down..and everybody chillin on the benches...beautiful weather!!!
This park is Clean, has great atmosphere and gives variety to the kids at play. I come often in the spring and summer. This park also has a sprinkler system during the summer months.
this park makes a pretty good place to settle my cardboard box house in. solid 4 stars
Good quiet place not too many people go here and you can ball or have fun with you child
It is clean and well maintained. It looks like it was supposed to be part of a larger project from years ago that was forgotten about. Good place to pass by and have a seat though.
Took our daughter there to roller blade... Had a great time... She learned a valuable lesson: Although I may fall; I Rise back on up... And try again..

It's okay but if you want to go there and get a piece of mind cuz it's quiet not too many people be there is only one weekend and you have to park on the streets is not well lit at night close to train tracks but they Tom it's a pretty decent place to take the kids for the sprinklers just sit around and rebel peace of mind
