It is a park with a lake and fields where you can pour your tea or coffee in a thermos, take a ball or something to play with, and go with your friends and family, have a picnic and play various games. Parents can definitely go there to have fun with their young children. Bird sounds and the beauty of nature literally make you forget that you are still in the city. (Well the videos were shot obviosly when there was rain, I would recommend going there in sunny weather 😅)
It is such a quiet and lovely place to visit in Darmstadt, the 'Silicon Valley' of Europe. The garden has many different flowers and herbs. There are benches to sit on and chill out.

Wiederhergestellter botanischer Garten. Schöner Ort zum Entspannen, mitten in der Stadt. Hier gibt es auch Skulpturen zu bestaunen.

A large and well organised park in Darmstadt, there is a big parking place here, so you can drive your family here on weekend and have a nice walk and sightseeing.

Its a very beautiful place to visit for nature lovers.Planty varieties of flowers are bloomed.When we visited roses are not bloomed yet.The rosarium with rose dome is a must visit. Good place to visit with family or friends for relaxation. Benches are available along the pathways. Dogs are also allowed. Apart from greenary, trees, there are some interesting historical structures like mausoleums, tea house, spanish tower and lion entrance gate are worth a visit.

It's a quite and beautiful park with lots of spots for sitting and having a picnic with family and kids. There are nice fountains which refreshing the air.

Simply amazing....
Beautiful garden and palace with an adjoining restaurant. I visited it a few days back and found it lovely. Lovely blooming flowers, fountains and the lush greenery were a treat for the senses.
Because of the historical elements, this park serves as more than just a green space for relaxation and leisure. It is also a historical site and has many places of interest for history lovers. Beautifully manicured gardens, rose dome, plenty to benches along the pathways, and so many historical structures. Overall a wonderful experience.
Very cool looking park with colorful flowers, large green grass fields to lay on, a dog park, football field and more. A must see in Darmstadt.
Nice place with nice flowers. I was surprised to find the cemetery of Prince Philip’s sister here as I didn’t expect that. The place is interesting.
Aufwendig gepflasterte Ornamente zieren die Gehwege.
Ein paar Bänke und Mülleimer vorhanden, große Wiese und alte Bäume. Wirkt leider sehr trostlos und ungepflegt. Immerhin werden die Mülleimer geleert.
It’s beautiful and well taken care of. And a big plus point: there were very few people in it! Which makes it possible to have a peaceful walk.
Nice garden with colorful flowers. There are not many Rose plants nor Roses at any given point of time. Other flowering plants are more than Rose plants.
Nice place for a picnic in summer
A good place where you can enjoy the sun and good weather. Playing area for kids is nice as well with an eye-catching slide and other normal swings. I go there every now and then to enjoy a new view with my kid.

Good time to visit is autumn. One can see trees in all colors.
Great small garden to hang out. Not much to do there, but that might be the idea. Nice fountains, palm trees and orange trees. Plus adjuscent is a playground for kids.

A great park in the middle of Bessungen where sometimes festivals and carnivals take place. If there's no event is also just a nice, peaceful park to visit. The fountains are a highlight on warm days.
Der Schlossgraben sowie die Bewirtung auf der Bastion, ist sehr schön geworden.Für eine wunderbare Auszeit mitten in der Stadt.

Unter der Mitwirkung vieler Darmstädter Bürger und unter Leitung der TUD hat sich der bis dahin unzugängliche Schloßgraben in ein echtes Idyll verwandelt. Mitten in der Stadt findet sich hier die Gelegenheit mal abzuschalten und dem Stadtstress zu entkommen. Ein liebes Dankeschön an alle Darmstädter Helfer und Spender und unsere Uni. Mittlerweile einer der schönsten Parkanlagen im Herzen von Darmstadt. Gerne habe ich gespendet und bei dem Mitmachaktionen mitgeholfen. Ich hoffe sehr das jeder Besucher den Park auch so verlässt wie er ihn vorfindet ;-) gepflegt und sauber :-)
