Nice walk path and easy to walk dogs
Used to be a bright and fun park but they got rid of the baseball field and added a dirt hill called "the sled hill".
The baseball field is in excellent shape, grounds maintained weekly until winter season. Also connected to park , a nice view of any trains coming by. Freeway nearby can present some noise issues occasionally. The park has benches, a playground and a pavilion.

This park offers a delightful blend of modern and vintage elements, making it a charming destination for families. The addition of new play structures, including slides, spinners, monkey bars, and ladders, ensures a contemporary touch that kids love. 🏃‍♂️🐵

What truly distinguishes this park is the presence of classic play sets that evoke a sense of nostalgia, giving it a unique character. 🎪 The park features a small miniature pavilion and a medium-sized pavilion, both adorned with timeless designs and original materials. Adjacent to these pavilions, there's an adorable kids' table, adding a touch of whimsy to the setting. 🧒🍽️

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the inclusion of a baseball field that caters to both games and practice sessions. The expansive surrounding field offers additional space for various activities. 🏟️⚾

With three types of swings and multiple slides of varying sizes, the park ensures that children have a diverse range of play options available. 🤸‍♀️🛶

Families can enjoy quality time together in this park, which offers an overall enjoyable experience. While occasional less favorable ratings might occur, it's hard to deny the park's overall appeal and value. 🌳🌈

Tucked within George Moore Park lies a captivating community haven that strikes a harmonious balance between relaxation and entertainment! 🌳🏞️ Boasting swings and slides, the park creates an inviting space for families and friends to gather and unwind. The charming addition of a mini free library encourages a love for reading amidst the splendor of nature. 📚🌼

Tranquil benches are thoughtfully placed around, offering serene spots to take in the surroundings. However, the spotlight undoubtedly falls on the distinctive jungle gym fashioned in the shape of a submarine. 🚢🌴 This imaginative structure injects an element of wonder, turning playtime into an exciting submarine adventure!

George Moore Park serves as a testament to meticulous design, catering to the diverse interests of the community. Be it the thrill of swings and slides, the discovery of new books, or the excitement of exploring a submarine-themed jungle gym, this park embodies the essence of outdoor enjoyment for all ages. 🌟🪁🌈

The metal slide such nostalgia lol great park, trail, lots of space. Def love it here

I was only there long enough to order a cheer uniform for my niece, that will change when football starts.
It's a decent park, BUT there is absolutely zero shade on any of the play equipment. Your kids will be on some very hot plastic the whole time, and most Likely will burn their skin on the slides. All this complimentd by a soft but black play surface to further increase the heat!

Go see what I mean if you think I'm exaggerating...

Lovely park with a new sled hill. Can't wait to come back in the winter. There was a Porta potty but I'm not sure if that's throught Allen Parks park and rec program.
Simple park with few people. Has a small pavilion with picnic tables. Nicely mowed with good shade!

It's a decently sized, open park conveniently located across the street from a local grocery store and ice cream parlor to easily stock up on summer favorites for planned or impromptu barebue ideas. If you have any hobby aircraft, RC trucks, or need a nice open space to launch fireworks, this is a great park to use. There's plenty of parking space for a large gathering of family and friends, and the area itself is pretty quiet/lowkey. There's usually at least 1 portapotty here, which I thought was pretty convenient considering most of the parks I've been to don't have places to use the restroom unless they're major parks (think Belle Isle in Detroit). There is also a covered area with a few picnic tables.

Fun to bring the nephew to the same park I played in as a kid. I do miss the huge farmer man slide. It was fun to climb up and sit on his hat.

The playground equipment is fantastic, especially the slide setup that's sure to thrill the little adventurers. 🛤️🤸‍♂️ The swings offer a relaxing and fun time for kids to soar through the air. 🌞🌈 The picnic shelter and tables make it perfect for family gatherings and enjoying meals outdoors. 🍔🧺 And let's not forget the football field where the Allen Park Bulldogs football team plays their heart out – a true source of community pride! 🏈🐾 The well-maintained baseball diamond adds even more sporting excitement to the park. ⚾🏟️ Cunningham Park is a fantastic place for families and sports enthusiasts alike, offering something for everyone to enjoy. 🌟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🏟️

Be aware even though it's clearly posted not to bring any animals that they are prohibited people still bring their dogs up to the park so if you have children that are afraid of dogs you may not want to visit this park.
one of many great parks in the city of Allen Park. well maintained lawn and garden areas, equipment updates and maintenance and availability for parties for a small fee paid to the City.
It's a nice path that I can let my dog run when nobody's on it. My autistic daughter ❤️ walking her n the park is a great place to do all kinda of fun stuff.
It's a nice park. It's quiet and I like to sit there sometimes but other than that it's just your average park. Children from the elementary school go there for recess and Middle schoolers are usually there from 2:30-3:00.

Great place to each lunch. A quiet spot specifically for people who are on the road all day. Has public restroom/Porta potty. Not adequate for big rigs though.
Cute little park, great play place for kids, sidewalk around the edge, and thank goodness, A porta potty...

Had nice mature trees. Then the city came by a few years ago and cut them all down. I assume it was because hot hippie chicks used to put up hammocks and vape all day? Floods easily. Old playground could use some love. Creek has crayfish and large snapping turtles. City needs to clean up the vegetation around said creek. Hawks frequent the area for the squirrels and rabbits. Have seen one hawk carry a squirrel off before. Fire pit with benches.
Nice open field
Brier Rabbit Park is a gem of a toddler park and a great place to take the littles. It's clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the safety flooring is in great shape. There is a great baby/adult tandem swing where baby can swing with someone.

Permit only park where the boy scouts held their summer day camp. A bit soggy due to the abundant rains this month, so, mosquito spray a must. Old school playground equipment, mature trees, adequate brick building restroom with running water and flushable toilets. Field is mostly unshaded, so, sunscreen also necessary. Right off the freeway, easy access, BUT, loud when holding events. Mostly a wide open field.

🌳🚂 Attention, train aficionados! Discover a serene green escape with the charm of a nearby railroad track and freeway. The pavilion is perfect for relaxation, while the asphalt loop invites leisurely strolls. Soccer fields cater to sports enthusiasts, but do note that the tennis area is no longer maintained. 🎾⚽ Despite needing resurfacing, basketball lovers still gather here for friendly matches. 🏀🌇
New playscape is very nice.

New playscape and older equipment also. Train tracks are nearby, my kids love trains so that was a plus. Lots of benches to sit, lots of room to play. Basketball and tennis courts too. Its off the road too set back a little, cozy and nice trees. Comfortable atmosphere.
Love the improvements they have made to this park including the mommy & me swings! Huge bonus. My little guy and I love walking here.
We have our Karate and promotions and Demos there. There is enough room to spread out.

I leave a lot of positive reviews and every blue moon I leave a lower rating. This is a great park! So cute! It has the new development with slide and spinners and monkey bars and ladders. What makes this a great park is the old reminiscent play sets that are still there from what I imagine 40 years ago from whence they were erected. A small miniature pavilion next to a medium pavilion with old school designs and original material. The cutest kids table that looks to have been there since 1970. It's that or it's retro and used up lol. A baseball field for games and practice as well as a large field surrounding the whole set up. Fun for myself and my son, we loved it.
What a nice park! Ball field, tennis courts, bathrooms with running water, greenspace, playground & walking track! Saw a free concert! Nice!

It's a nice little park, has a play area for kids, and a 1/4 mile track.
My granddaughter's loved it the ground area is very soft there was plenty of slides and for different swings hopefully in the spring that they put some grass seed down it's just very muddy right now
Park is hidden in the neighborhood but it's a nice quiet place and kids love it. They have a nice walking track.

Any place that you are able to take you and the kid too is a good thing. Nowadays you're lucky if you can do anything free and you're lucky if you are near a park because they are getting rid of parks in neighborhoods because they say that the city's can't afford the upkeep.
Nice little walking track, clean park, nicely maintained. Walking track is close to the train track, so maybe a little nervous-making to pass by the track.

Great park to take the kid on a walk to go to the park with a dinosaur slide, handicap friendly park for all kids ages 2-9 very clean..
1 draw back is its on Park Ave. In Allen Park a pretty busy side road.
But if you are watching your child like any parent is supposed to do you won't have any issues, you look at your phone all the time on social media you have a good chance that your child could become injured in which the state should then evaluate how your parent skills are.
If we were more responsible for our children instead of our phones kids would be a lot better off and patents would too. Phone parents should never be allowed to take care of kids period.
If they have one there are many people who can't have kids who would drop there phone plan to just have a kid.
GREAT FAMILY PARK!!!

My kids love this park. You can generally count on plenty of parents around so there is not a lot of rough housing, which is good for the little ones. Lots of equipment for them to choose from as well.
Needs some TLC. The tennis courts are in shambles and the sidewalk/path could use paving/resealing. Also the gazebo could use some help. I like this park but it needs some attention.

Check this park out! Plenty of space, playground equipment, walking path, away from major roads, clean.
John Riel Park features a 0.30 mile walking track, a pavilion with picnic benches, a large playground, a fenced in-line hockey rink, and several benches for sitting and enjoying the many trains that pass by on two sides. It is clean and safe (as far as I can tell) and can be quite active on sunny weekends. The walking path is in good shape, but is not cleared in the winter.
