Nice garden with discovery walk. Very limited parking spot, but there is a big parking lot at the college, just across the cross. Weekend is free.

Welcoming children playground and park for jogging or other activities
Beautiful park for a walk or a cycle. I would love it if there was some sort of play structure along the route.
It is a well-kept place, with large areas to walk and spend a great day, alone or with the family!

This park is a hidden gem! So many beautiful trails. There are paved trails and also unpaved ones too which I really love because it doesn't even feel like you're in Toronto. Lots of animals to see especially at the duck pond. In the fall the colours are really beautiful. Some areas have very tall majestic trees, there's a huge bridge over the Humber River and so many nice spots. A huge grassy area for picnics.

James Garden is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. The lush, well-maintained greenery and the serene atmosphere make it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails that wind through the woods, offering stunning views and a chance to connect with nature. If you’re seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch service, Lambton Woods is the place to be

Scenic view of maple leaves along the Humber River, excellent hiking site, very convenient for parking vehicles.
Great place for a walk or a bike ride. Has a well-maintained botanical garden part with flowers, ponds, bridges and woods and riverside trails in the other

Autumn starting, September ending, soft breeze, where to go and enjoy autumn leaves' change of color?

I head to the big NICE Centennial Park: lots of trees, beautiful leaves' color, many wooden benches, Fresh air, quiet relaxing walk...
Beautiful Nature, Praise to GOD!

Such a happening place, the whole park pushes you for a healthy life style, from walk to the trails, to picnic, go carting, hiking, golfing, or simply sitting before the pond watching ducks swimming.
Nice place to walk or bike.
There to watch my my grandsons baseball game, great day.

Huge park with so things to do here.. it has skiing and tobogganing on winter. There is cricket field lots of trail. Views from hills are nice. We recently held the Toronto Ancop walk here. My only concern is the parking, we hope there's more and the site we were was on the other side so we took a bit of time to find it. It is also accessible by public transportation. Over all it's a great park.

Quiet little spot by the water with no infrastructure which is perfect as it keeps the kids and most noisy people away so you can just sit and listen to the water, bird song and take in the great skyline view. Hope the mega Mcmansion they are building next to it doesn't somehow sully the experience as rich people tend to ruin things for everybody. Time will tell so enjoy it while it's perfect.

This is a beautiful park! So much space overall. Ample parking space, picnic areas, restroom available.
There is go karting as well.
Have been here multiple times at different entrance and it's so big and wonderful for morning walk or evening stroll or just sit by the water or an entire day picnic.
The Only place in Toronto to feel the rising day with its natural beauty
Check jerk fest legendary... Luciano Destra and baby cham preformed the place was packed as you can see from the pictures the energy was right the performances was on point so proud of the West Indian Community putting these things together there were so many different vendors in there so many different things we had an amazing time can't wait for next year jerk Fest...7

Pretty cool picnic spot for families and large groups. Some of the picnic areas had more tree cover than others. Washrooms are decently maintained, parking can be troublesome on the weekend. The wading pool is small, bit kids had fun nonetheless.
This is the correct photo of picnic area 7

A gorgeous garden for a walk and play. They have separate trails for hiking and biking so that it's good for elders and toddlers or families with strollers. A little pond with ducks and Canada geese, squirrels, and chipmunks running around, flowers are blooming, and birds are singing, absolutely amazing!
A very well tended garden with shaded spots for sitting. Includes a beautiful array of flowers and bushes. The small pond and running stream are nicely laid out. Park free on weekends in the college parking lot just across the road.

Clean for the most part. Splash pad and playground with a basketball court. Dog owners need to pick up after their dogs though.
This is a huge one to report about it.. We've been to only one part of it from where we could see golf ground, go carting and very spacious area with picnic tables, playgrounds and beautiful trees to give shades. We had a bbq event for around 20 ppl with huge space to have fun activities like kite flying, blow bubbles, dodge ball, tag, lock and key, badminton etc..
Nice, clean, friendly parents, well kept

Loved James Garden Park! Used to come here as a child with my elementary school friends so I have fond memories here. Now that I’m here visiting, my natural inclination was to visit this park. It is more beautiful than I remember it . The trails around the park is peaceful, lush and scenic. It’s a great place to go just to have a moment to oneself or with friends having a picnic or a stroll along the river. Definitely recommend this!

I recently visited Centennial Park for a family picnic and overall, it was a delightful experience. The best part was the ample free parking available, which made our visit hassle-free. The park boasts a picturesque pond that added to the serene atmosphere, and we enjoyed watching the ducks and other wildlife.

Another highlight was the free entry to the beautiful greenhouse, where we explored a wide variety of plants and flowers. It was a great educational experience for the kids. The picnic areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable setting for families to relax and enjoy a meal together.

However, I must mention that the park tends to get crowded in the evenings, especially on weekends, which can be a bit overwhelming. Additionally, there were instances of Canadian geese causing minor disturbances, and some dog owners neglecting to pick up after their pets, which was a disappointment.

Overall, despite these minor inconveniences, Centennial Park is a lovely spot for family picnics, offering free parking, a scenic pond, and a fascinating greenhouse to explore. With a bit of planning to avoid peak hours, it can be a wonderful place to spend quality time with loved ones in a natural setting.
Nice park with very good vibes. The views are amazing. Highly recommended this place. Once you must need to visit with family or friends.
A good place for a picnic and bbq with family during the weekend, it would be better if there’re some picnic areas near the lake!
For my granddaughter favorite park. It is nice. You can walk around, ride a bike, play...
Best View of the area
Very good park for entertaining children.
I take my grand children there and they love it 😀.

Echo Valley Park has the beautiful Mimico Creek running all throughout the park. The colours in fall are spectacular. Great for a walk with friends, family, and your pets.

Lovely park with an amazing trail.
Short walk up the hill from humber college, or about a 800m walk from humber trail

Great view of the Autumn colours. These photos were taken October 8th at around 3:30pm

If you angle your view just right it's almost like you are just looking into a forest with no civilization in view. A great place to feel like an escape from the city life without going to far from the city

Fall is the best time for these views or any clear sky day during the sunset hours as this look out does face west into the treeline.
My neighborhood park, splash pad for kids, green area for dog's. Good place to mingle, meet your neighbours and experience your community.
Lots of parking around and there are 2 diamonds.

This park has very little shade, trash on the ground and random unsavory people. These detract from the rating, because the park has a basketball court, a splash pad, a large field and a jungle gym.

An interesting concept based on the Tower of the Moon from Tolkien's mythical city of Minas Ithil. The silver, blue, and white variegated foliage mixes well with the blue and white flowers. The water feature feels completely at home here, with short walking paths winding through pergolas. Definitely a highlight of the arboretum grounds.
It used to be a cute little park before but now its always full of trash everywhere, teenagers and other kids are having fireworks fights especiallyat night, guys smoking weeds..

Awesome time with Grandma & Gramma & grandson new stylish play ground equipment small little park just for little ones careful of the metal.south off of Royal York Road . Before lakeshore on the left.
Amazing view of the whole area!
Pretty decent park for kids, just a shame that there's always litter and the odd weird/sketchy clothing left about the place. The splash pad is a nice touch, especially on summer mornings as it is relatively empty even on weekends, but on my last visit they've ripped that up, so I'm hoping they're renovating the space and not removing it. Winter's coming and the merry-go-round has been taken off too... we like it because it is walking distance and another option other than Col Sam Smith park.
Great little park in our community. Can get busy. Only two benches. Garbage cans have been moved recently so a little bit more obvious and hopefully people will use them more now and decrease the litter here. Views of the city, the airport, sunrise and full moon are incredible. No water access
My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Watching her play keeps me young at heart.

Nice park, good walking trail, and the city has done a lot to stabilize the creek in the last few years by adding trees and fixing paths, etc. So it's a lovely and easy walk.
A very small park but with a great view of the lake and the toronto city ahead. Took some awesome photos of the lake with the swans nearby.
This is a great place with views & a beautiful lookout where you can see km around.
Nice park. Good cycling/walking path

Located at Royal York & Lake Crescent this rather small park offers a classic look at what swings and slides use to look like from the mid 90's. This small area offers a bench, a few swing sets, a slide, waste and recycling a bins and a small grassy area to play.

It seems there will be some renovations coming to this small park and it can be seen online. Regardless of the size this park offers residents in the near by area an opportunity to get out and enjoy the park.

Just because they have the nostalgic playground pieces I give this park a 4/5.

Excellent (semihidden) park, located directly behind the Bloordale United Church, north of Bloor St. W. There is a great children's four seasons play area and a nice gentle slope for sledging/tobogganing in the winter. For walking, jogging and cycling enthusiasts, the is a tree lined path that skirts the Elmcrest Creek, tributary of the Etobicoke Creek that winds north to Centennial Park. Thre is a long greenspace that is great for dog walking. Sorry, this space is not a leash free area. There are plenty of benches for resting and people watching as well as bird and other urban wildlife observing. The Cardinals are my favorite songbird...
Great place to go for a nice walk. It’s a great place to bring your dog. One of the nicer parks in Etobicoke. Well maintained.
Great place for a walk..save the green space
Been hiking here for years, it's a real challenge on the unpaved side of Mimico Creek, 2 awesome playgrounds, a pool, has it all, a real gem.
Great spot with a nice view. Coke here to relax and meditate.
Beautiful park with mature trees and lots of birds species to watch.

Awesome! I hear the sunsets are great there. I just had a night view. The photo doesn't do it justice! You have about 4 benches and it is lovely hearing the water lap nicely close by.
Decent park with a couple of ball diamonds and some nice trees.

Usually we love this park and it is an outstanding 5 star rating but sewer construction and work on the main bridge (Rathbun) make it a 3 star today. Our dog loves jumping in the creek and playing and there are always lots of ducks around. We cannot wait for the construction to finish and let this great park just be a park.

Beautiful place for a stroller, bike ride, picnic, bird watching.
Nice place to stretch the legs and take a breath of fresh air. Terry fox trail leads through here too so you will see joggers and cyclists as well. Plenty of wildlife in the area to see, if you do have smaller dogs keep them close by as it gets into the evening hours due to coyotes in the area. Have seen a couple as big as a large dog so I'm on guard for my kids, by the same token, I have been here hundreds of times and have seen them about 3 times in total. Don't want to alarm, just informing. Knowing is half the battle according to G.I Joe...
It's nice quite park ... Good place also for pets

Nice narrow park running along Mimico Creek. Has a paved trail that runs along the creek, access to the hydro corridor where there is lots of open space, and the chance to see some wildlife along the way.
