Astounding!!! the view from our helicopter ride was just awesome!!!
Very beautiful 😍 I highly recommend going here before the hot summer days or after. Take an umbrella and water. Don't go hiking by yourself

Came for a morning walk and it was wonderful. Beautiful mountains and several paths to choose from. The one we chose had random workout stations which was creative and fun. Kid and dog friendly too. Super easy flat trail.

My favorite place to hike. It’s very peaceful and easy for beginner hikers. There is plenty of parking and restrooms at the front of the entrance. I always recommend this place to everyone I know and make monthly trips from Phoenix just for Buffalo Park! Also a great place to get beautiful pictures during sunset.

Love this dog friendly park. The views are fantastic and it’s a nice easy walk as long or as short as you’d like. If you’re ever in Flagstaff I would suggest trying this one with the family.
Another beautiful hiking spot for beginners like myself. Very flat loops. Beautiful views. Just check ahead for events like marathons if you value alone time.

This park has been so much nicer since that maniac who films himself smashing phones moved away

Great local park near downtown Flagstaff. Has a series of trails, including a popular 2-mile loop that is great for walking, running, and biking. Arizona Trail passes through it. Sweeping views of the San Francisco Peaks. An easy escape to nature for those looking for it.
Absolutely breathtaking. Photos do not do the beauty of nature any justice. So beautiful and tranquil with many tourists options.

No overnight parking. Tow zone- come on Flagstaff, we're can travelers park for a few nights passing through? 👎 BUT, I saw a great sunrise behind Mt Ekden there. Nice place to walk a dog.
Really not as crowded as people made it seem.
Being here is a privilege, with friends or by yourself still amazing. Tons of great views for pictures, perfect place to find peace.

Really beautiful park if you want to go on a nice walk or stroll and enjoy beautiful scenery. The trails are clearly marked, including the really wide, dirt 2-mile loop. Very dog friendly and there are all sorts of exercise challenges around the loop. There was ample parking.

I am a history person..so We LOVED stopping here. The spring has been a gathering point for 1400 years. Positive energy here, small but a piece of Flagstaff history.
I saw what appears to be a Nintendo Switch A button here, which is kind of weird.
Amazing to see! We parked at the visitor center and rode the hop on, hop off bus all the way to Hermit's Rest and back, stopping at several look outs along the way. We were on day 11 of a roadtrip and started the day exhausted, so this was a great way to get to see the park! We loved Hermit's Rest and enjoyed walking around the village. I'd love to return to stay right on the rim amd hike a bit.
I almost feel silly writing a review for the Grand Canyon because there is so much information out there. I am just going to throw in a few details that would have helped us. We decided to drive to the South Rim entrance which is about a 4.5 hour drive from the Vegas Strip. There you get really stunning views and you can walk the trail to a number of breathtaking lookout points. If you have more time you can also catch the shuttle there to other trails. We debated about going to the Skywalk which would have been just over a 2 hour drive but since that appears to be outside of the national park proper we decided to skip it. If you have more time obviously hiking down and staying in a lodge would be amazing. We only had 4 or 5 hours there so just marveling from the rim had to suffice. Definitely worth the trip.

We stopped here to eat our drive thru food and let the kids stretch their legs. There is a portapotty, garbage cans and picnic tables. It was windy while we were there and it it right on the train tracks. No big deal our kids like trains.

Small quaint park, but it has swings a play area picnic tables a grill on site and basketball courts, my boys approved we spent about an hour out running off some energy, very close to train tracks but there is a port a potty on site also
Great place to relax, take a hike or contemplate your next move.
Awesome afternoon graduation party at the park! Trains are right alongside the street across from the park. There's a portolet available and one disabled parking spot. Playground apparatus for youngsters and a basketball hoop and BBQ pit (covered for CV19). The lawn is a nice grassy hillside with small drainage area. Nice local park.
A beautiful geological area. I hiked all the way down to the Colorado River and back up on the same day. It was approximately 22 miles. Packing a lot of water essentials specially if you are doing the hike during the summer. The temperature down at the river can get to 130F with an elevation loss of 4500 feet. Only 1% of the Grand Canyon visitors hike the Canyon. If you find a campsite, I suggest you do that and enjoy stargazing at night. You would definitely be able see the Milky Way. If you got the energy to hike Rim to rim (Khaibab to the South Rim), it won’t be a horrible idea, just a little exhausting.

This is a very tiny park. It's down the street from Thorpe Park, near the train tracks. It has a porta potty for using the restroom. It doesn't have a toddler swing. It's got a basketball court, but with only one basket. The spring looks like it's constantly running, but this time of year (summer) it's slow. It's recently been redone with a new fence and sod. And it's pretty clean so long as there hasn't been a party recently at the picnic Ramada. After parties, usually the park is trashed because people don't know what a trash can looks like.

This is a nice city park. I love the train nearby and if you're lucky, he'll toot the train horns. The people that picnic here are the best friendly people. Old time neighborhood.
I mean what’s to say... it’s amazing!!!!
We arrived on a Monday morning in June. Got there before 9:00 and had only a few minutes waiting to get in. Get there early if you can.
It was $35.00 per car good for 7 days.
We went to the deli and got sandwiches and ate a lunch looking over the rim.😊.
Went on the buses that drive around the park. Schedule is a bit confusing at times but drivers will help.
Most of the staff is friendly.
Big gift shop in the “ grocery/ deli” store.
Park was clean, but restrooms are old and hot.
We left mid afternoon and came back that evening for a star gazing show. There were several people there that had big telescopes set up and they would tell us about the stars we were looking at. We brought chair and after a while just sat and watched the sky. We even saw a shooting star. It got chilly after sunset.
I totally recommend this stop. 😊
Nice Little Park. Right Next To The Railroad Tracks. Even A Cute Little Spring. Quite Peaceful Even If Along The Tracks.
A lovely little park for a picnic and playground for the kids. This is a historical spring site and has interesting local history panels and plaques. Handicap accessible.
