Soccer fields are awful, won't be long until someone breaks their ankle.
Parents pay a lot of money for soccer at least the town could do it flatten the field
Soccer field was in great condition to play!

Harvey Curry Park Playground is a fantastic spot for kids and families. The playground offers a variety of well-maintained equipment suitable for all ages, including swings, slides, and climbing structures. The inclusive design and soft, rubberized surface make it safe and accessible for everyone. Shaded benches provide comfort for parents, and picnic areas adds to the charm. While it can get busy during peak times, the overall cleanliness and upkeep make it a top-notch playground destination.
The tulips are in full bloom. I enjoyed taking pictures of them. My daughter enjoyed playing in the park. We will definitely come again.

Excellent park for kids of all ages and abilities. Ample parking and green space with picnic tables.
Park has trail access to conservation area but you are not allowed to park your car here to access park.
Enjoyed fall colors in October. Bit cold compare usual conservation parks due to lake side. Trails well maintained. Plan your trip as visitors limited. Please check website or call. Entry-$7/person.
Well, ticket price is reasonable which is $7 for an adult and 3.5 for children under 14. Several parking lots. The trails are easy to access with strollers and bike. It took us almost 2 hours to finish the all-around trail except the left top corner trail. When all the leaves turn red or yellow, guess the scene would be more magnificent
Boardwalks are well maintained. Views are beautiful. There are different entrance/exit points with parking lots. It will be perfect if the vegetation can be trimmed low if they block the view.
The 8km Vicky Barron is a great loop trail around the lake. It is mostly flat with good views, rest stops, and boardwalks. Should take the average hiker 2 to 2.5hrs.

Fishing spots, and water rentals like canoe and kayak are available which I didn't try personally.
I love taking my boys for a walk around the trails and stopping by the Lakeside. The boys love to throw rocks in the water and look at the fish too. Once we saw a turtle, cool right? Lots of birds to see.
Nice park with huge open spaces, amphitheater, picnic tables for families and big groups. Activities include fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking. You can rent canoes and kayaks. The hiking trails are amazing with a 8km longest trail around the lake. The trails include stretches of wooded paths and board walks. There are 2 other shorter trails < 2km. This is a paid conservation park. Not too busy and ample of parking.
This place is very suitable for hiking, the loop trail around the lake is about 8.7km, the whole trail is sometimes far away from the lake, sometimes across the lake, and most of the trail is in the forest and on the wooden trestle, so it is very comfortable to hiking.
When we went there, it was one of those scorching hot summer day, and we didn't feel any heat or discomfort at all.
There were boating enthusiasts on the lake, anglers on the shore, and many people picnicking in the rest area.
We passed cyclists, dog walkers and families with strollers.
Everything was great.
There were boat rentals and lunch trucks in the rest area, a pit stop.
We parked in a dedicated lot nearby, not next to the reserve, which is about 5 minute walk, is free.
Island Lake Conservation area is a pretty large park with plenty of walking, hiking, and picnic areas; a large lake for fishing, canoeing, or kayaking. There is an entrance fee per person to the park, but well worth it to maintain the park and area. The longest walk around the lake across several boardwalks takes about 1.5-2h. Highly recommend also spending some time at the nature park.
We had an amazing time at lions park it was the perfect venue for our 1st annual Emma’s way walk.

The only concern was there was no running water in the bathrooms.
Other than that it was amazing
Had a great time! Beautiful place and location. Lots of activities to do. Great for walking. Dog-friendly 😊🐶💖 Only giving four stars because even though is mostly well-maintained, we found some trash (both in the water and on the land) that can be detrimental to the animals and their habitat 😞☹️
I am in love with this place. There is an entrance fee of $7 per adult and cheaper for kids which is cheaper compared what this place offers. You can kayak and paddle board here. There are a few trails to hike, longest one is 8KM but totally worth it.

Lovely place, cozy and nice, lot of ppl come here for picnic. It has an awesome splash pad. Changing rooms, restroom available. The last time, I was there, some kids friendly activities (like wood burning using a magnifying glass)were organized too
Great place for soccer games. Restroom were clean and the playgrounds were well kept.
The park is reasonably nice but the soccer fields are awful. Impossible to dribble or make a decent pass on that pitch. Washroom available. Plenty of parking.

The park boasts well-maintained play areas, offering a variety of engaging activities such as swings, slides, and climbing structures, catering to every child's interests and abilities. What sets this park apart is its convenient access to the stunning Island Lake Conservation trails, providing nature lovers with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the picturesque surroundings, enjoy serene views, and observe diverse wildlife.
Beautiful place to breathe, walk, relax, and take in nature. Minutes away from Orangeville. Nice trail and bridges over looking water/lake.
I really like this place, great for walking and has exercise equipment that needs some W-D40 but other the. That its great! Bathrooms are only open in summer
It is a well-maintained place (plenty of boardwalk) to hike, cycle, picnic, jog or whatever you would like to do to get closer with Mother Nature :D
Those lookout areas along trails are perfectly situated for visitors to capture the best view of fall colour.

Huge field with a large modern park. On the far end is the start of a local trail.
Coolest part of this park is a bike repair station with tools and a pump.

A nice park tucked away in the Purple Hill subdivision. It has a nice play structure, swings, a bicycle fixing station, one picnic table and a good sized field. On the right, there is a bridge that leads to a trail that is apart of the Island Lake Conservation area.
Absolutely loved this place. Entry into the park takes a whopping 45 mins during peak periods. That’s the bottleneck. However, there is plenty of parking space inside!
It's a great place for kids and adults. The concrete rink is great for playing hockey, skateboarding, roller blading or riding a bike.

Beautiful park. Even has an ice rink
Nice open area park, swings and climbing places. Acouple of benches, but a blanket would be better. There is a small parking area, better than parking on the street. Bring a soccer or football. The field would be a great place ro explore spring, summer and fall. A nice quiet park.
Great area to go with kids, water park, swings and slides. Lots of grass to run and picnic, washrooms when open, some tables and benches. Also, a convience store on the property for snacks and treats. This is a 4 season place to go.

Love the fake grass! Lots to do, creative play, huge splash pad with interesting features!
This is a great park, All play surfaces are padded. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit. And the playground equiptment is excellent for kids of all ages.
First time here, I will be back, lots of grass, parking, a running track, picnic shelter with tables. There was washrooms, locked today, basketball nets, looks like that will be a outdoor hockey rink . Children play areas and even outdoor work out stations.
Great place for hiking. Such a fresh and clean air, quiet nature, beautiful lake. We took half of longest trail. Took us about 1.5 hours

A great park all year long! In the summer; it's great for picnics, hiking along the trails, cycling, fishing, a perfect place for photographers and dog walkers. In the winter; there's skating, ice fishing and hiking, just make sure to wear crampons because the trails can be icy.
