As always, another very pleasurable visit to the smallest zoo in Austria - Nils is a friendly and highly knowledgeable guide to all things venomous and/or poisonous. We shall return!

We had a great experience, unlike the usual museum, we had the chance to interact with the animals and gain so many insights, this was a once in a lifetime experience. We love this place and the hospitality, truly a hidden gem. Thank you!

Nils is so brilliant - he is so knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, hilarious and so passionate. I have learnt so much from our time at the zoo! Nils also offered so much advice about Salzburg in general and gave us some great recommendations. Highly highly recommend this as part of your Salzburg itinerary!

Absolutely amazing museum with a truly wonderful guide who makes it fun, educational, and exciting. Had a wonderful time just make sure to book a appointment the host speaks great English so as a American I could understand everything easily

11/10 Very engaging and educational. Highly recommend taking the time to visit this zoo. Not only is the owner passionate about what he does but you can see the care and love for these animals are high. I had a wonderful time and would most definitely visit once more if/when I'm around.

It might be Austria’s smallest zoo but I can whole heartedly say it is the most enjoyable zoo I have ever been too (sorry San Diego and London).
The real attraction besides the most poisonous critters on the planet is Jens. His depth of knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness will keep your little ones talking for days later.
A 100% recommendation for a family looking for something to do in Salzburg.
