Top Science museums in Kolkata, India

A very nice place for science enthusiasts. There are a lot of science models to explore and you will learn a lot of things.
Tickets can be purchased online also. Entry ticket is Rs 65. There are several rides also. Dark ride is the evolution of life. Time machine is a fun ride. The best of all is the 3d show 'Voyager'. You will feel like you are exploring the space and different planets. This is an award winning movie and a must watch. The ticket is worth Rs 100. I didn't like the underwater 3d show.

This is the second time I am visiting Science city. There have been a couple of changes since the last visit a more than a decade back. The main dome building where there is a dinosaur head, this building used to be the main building with moving dinosaurs, now this building isn't functional. For the dinosaurs experience you would have to buy tickets for the dark ride separately. What I enjoyed the most in the second visit this weekend is the Time machine and the Voyager. If you want to have some fun with 3D motion simulators then the Time machine ride is a must. Overall I enjoyed my visit. Would recommend people to go with their fam.

One of the best places in Kolkata. It is not only a scientific place but there is much more to see here. Various historical things are also here. Many shows are shown. It is a great place for kids.But not only kids every person can go there and enjoy with family or friends .

It's a fun place to learn about science and more. There are few activities where you're not allowed to make videos or take pictures. But this place is worth every penny. If you're parents and want to make your child learn about science in a fun way then it is a perfect place for you. Even as an adult I learnt a lot of new things there. This place holds so much knowledge for everyone.

One of the most popular destination of Kolkata. It's not an ordinary museum, it's a Science Museum, a Central Autonomous body under Ministry of Culture, Government of India. You will be amazed after you enter that place. Can be a one day destination trip for your family, it can be educational tour for children also. You can enjoy the rides, 3D shows over there and many more. The entire place is very neat and clean. Food court available inside or you can buy roadside snacks just outside of the museum. Clean toilets are there. Ticket price is decent. Recommended.

My experience of Science City Kolkata using Google Maps was overall enjoyable. The highlight was the impressive Trump Tower, which looked beautiful and added to the charm of the place. However, I found the entry fees for adults to be reasonable at 65, but the fees for activities seemed to be on the higher side. In my opinion, the facility could benefit from some updates and improvements. It would be great if they could lower the prices to make it more accessible and appealing to visitors.

While the food prices may be slightly higher throughout the venue, the Chinese Combo at the food court is highly recommended, priced at 230/- per plate. Overall, it's an ideal place to spend quality time with your family or loved ones, and the experience is truly delightful. 🥰❤️🥰

I recently visited Kolkata Science City with my niece and nephew, and it was an amazing experience. The exhibits were very informative and interactive, and we had a lot of fun exploring the different galleries. My niece and nephew were fascinated by the hands-on exhibits, and they enjoyed experimenting with different scientific concepts. They particularly loved the 3D show at the planetarium, which was both educational and entertaining.
The outdoor science park was also a hit with the kids. They enjoyed playing around with the different exhibits and learning about the laws of physics and other scientific principles. We also watched the musical fountain show, which was a beautiful spectacle of lights and water.
Overall, our visit to Kolkata Science City was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata with children. It is a great way to introduce kids to the wonders of science and technology in a fun and interactive way.
