Went to the Orchid show and was amazed at all the vendors. They have a $5.00 admission to see everything, but worth it. We were amazed by how much was available. Today, Feb. 4th was the last day. The Venice Community Center is a great venue and hosts many events throughout the year.
Great course and pace of play. The wildlife on this course is exceptional.
I lived in pelican point over 13 years.
Pelican point has the usual HOA shenanigans going on, and usual restrictive rules. No big deal.
Pelican Pointe homes are all tightly packed together, so you will know your neighbor rather well... Perhaps better than you want to.
Food served at the clubhouse, restaurant, special events...
IS AVERGAGE, AT BEST...You have been warned!
The golf course is allegedly above average... That's what the golfers tell me.
I have just recently moved to Myakka Valley Ranches... 6 acres of good land! I will never go back!
Pelican point is nice, if you like tract-style homes and golfing.

I along with many others that attended the Elvis show on January 6th, were very disappointed and upset regarding the seating for this show. Those of us that paid for VIP seats had none!! No one seemed to be in charge. One lady that may work there or for the event company attempted to add a row of chairs in front of the 1st row where people were already sitting. Of course they became very mad and upset. One elderly gentleman raised his cane to strike the elderly woman in front of him, my husband stopped him right away and even offered to give up his seat to this man, but he in turn shook his cane at my husband! I know in the past when I have gotten VIP seats our names were on a piece of paper on the chairs. What happened this time? I certainly hope this does not happen again! Michele Martello
Good practice area with range balls included with round. Excellent pace of play but I had an early tee time and the two members I played with said it was unusually fast play.
I played Preserve/Hatchet Creek courses. Both were in terrific condition and the greens were nice. The Preserve is mostly lined with houses, but the Hatchet Creek course has a few holes which feel more like you are just on a golf course and not playing in a planned community. Saw lots of beautiful wildlife on the Hatchet Creek course too.
I enjoyed it, but for the price I’d rather drive the extra 20 min and play Heron Creek.

WSRZ and Badger Bob hosted an blast of a Monster Mash. The Venice Community Center was an excellent venue for party! The place looks great, sound, atmosphere and staff were great. My husband, daughter and I had a great time. Davey Jones and Meredith were so entertaining, thanks for the photos! Well done!
Fun, challenging course. Well kept and good value. Very hot and humid that day but seeing my score card at the end of the round made it worth the sweat. ;)

This facility is wonderful for zumba. The staff is extraordinary and most accommodating.
I attended an NXT live show and it was a lot of fun. No problems with parking, place was clean, security was quick, and the presentation was top notch. I guess the chairs were a little close together, but that is fine.
Very nice facility to hold or attend an event. Safe with lots of parking. Eirinn Abu concert at the facility was fantastic.

Visiting for the week. Staff friendly throughout the community and at pro shop. The surrounding area is green, luscious, clean and well taken care of throughout the property.
We took our dogs for a walk around the beautiful community. When we got back they were thoroughly exhausted
I had my wedding reception here and I am so happy we picked this place. Mike Ross was so kind and helpful with everything. Our guest loved the location. Rusty who also works there was very friendly and helpful the day of the wedding. This is a perfect venue for weddings.
