My wife and I got married earlier this year and we just wanted to throw a reception for all of our family and friends to come eat, drink, and celebrate with us. Rosedale Park was the perfect place! Jennifer was really great to work with and answered all our questions right away. The staff were all very nice and helpful throughout the night. The venue is beautiful and the food is amazing.
I am so glad that we chose Rosedale park event center for our wedding venue. Everyone was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process but especially the day of so supportive and helpful and just made the day so much more enjoyable. We appreciate all the supportive on our special day.

I can't say enough good things about Rosedale. Firstly, the venue is stunningly beautiful. It really needs no "dressing-up". Secondly, Jen is so nice and so helpful. Not only did she answer all my silly questions but did so promptly and with a smile. Working with this venue was such a breeze it felt odd not to have to worry about so many things. We chose to go with the all inclusive package which meant we had access to the whole venue from getting ready to our outdoor photos, ceremony in the beautiful gazebo, and the reception hall. Lastly, the catering is fantastic. We attended multiple tastings and loved everything they served. We ultimately went with the classic menu simply because it fit into our budget the best. If we had more room in the budget, we would have gone with a custom menu because we tasted so many delicious offerings that were not on a set menu. I would highly recommend this venue and catering company.
We had such a magical wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. Jennifer and staff took such great care and ownership in making sure our day went off without a hitch. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and detailed to ensure we knew what they do and do not take care of so that our end knew what we needed to do. We used Rosedale for our 40th high school reunion. Jennifer Howell and the crew were great to work with. Very attentive to our needs and how we wanted the evening to progress. They are highly organized and their chef and onsite catering were wonderful. They also do off-site catering should you prefer that option. They work very well without outside vendors, like DJs and photo booths. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer a wide variety of pricing and food choices. They have a fully stocked bar and had enough servers to handle the needs for drinks, dinner service and clearing tables after dinner. They even have a variety of table centerpieces to choose from if you don't want to supply your own decor. Our classmates had a terrific time and the evening went off without a hitch! I would highly recommend using Rosedale Park event center for your wedding, business or personal event.
Beautiful interior venue space. The food was adequate but I wouldn’t recommend using their catering service. Chicken parm was so overcooked I couldn’t tell that it was cheese on top (looked more like heavily fried chicken), and the pork was overcooked and dry. The max and cheese and sweet potatoes were excellent! The wait staff weren’t friendly and seemed bothered that we were there. Rental price was very high as well…in my local area venues charge for the space when using their catering services.

Rosedale Park Event Center was the perfect place to host our wedding. We wanted a venue that could host both our ceremony and reception and had indoor and outdoor options for a ceremony space. I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the weather on our wedding day said otherwise but the indoor space was still beautiful for our ceremony. Additionally, Jennifer was wonderful to work with and helped with all of the planning details including table arrangements. We also loved that they have an on-site caterer. Best of all, I truly felt like I got my money’s worth from this venue. I highly recommend them to other Iowa couples!

We got married here in June 2022. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the gazebo out back also made for a beautiful ceremony. Jenn and Hannah were so easy to work with-they really listened to what we had in mind for our vision and accommodated all of our requests while also being prepared for potentially bad weather the day of the wedding. I feel like choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding!

really lovely spot for parties and I've been to several meetings there. really easy parking and easy to get to by elevator. Jason is a great guy and a good host. I like the brick walls and the whole feel of the room is really cool. it's a perfect spot for lots of different events.
Unfortunately I did not get to use the event center due to the pandemic. In spite of this, Jason at Shores was nothing short of respectful, flexible and professional. He worked with us to try to find an alternate date and with the shifting guidance from public health and the state, it became increasingly challenging to solidify a date. We had to cancel. He was incredibly understanding and responsive. He offered a prompt refund, which is more than I expected and better than my experience with other organizations who were not even remotely accommodating. I have every intention of using Shores for something in the future, simply because the customer service was stellar and the venue is outstanding. THIS is how you keep a customer base. Thank you Jason!
Shores is such a unique venue. The industrial setting was a perfect for the play! What a great place to experience the creativity and artistry of a small stage. The actors were terrific! I can also say it's a great place for a reception or gathering too!!
I called Jason from the shores Event Center to book a party and wow is all I can say!! Jason was very nice and quick!! Jason eased all my stressing out by asking me what I wanted to happen and what he had to accommodate me and by the time I got off the phone I was incredibly satisfied!! Yes, I booked with Jason right away!! If you're thinking about throwing a party or hosting any kind of event I highly recommend that you call Jason at the Shores Event Center!!

Shores event center is a great space for any event. It has a very cozy feel with all the old brick walls and columns. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We hosted an anniversary party there with 80+ people and there is room for plenty more. I highly recommend hosting your event there.
Our experience with Shores was wonderful. We had our wedding and reception at the venue and Jason was fantastic to work with. He accommodated every ask that we had and the night went off without a hitch! The setting was beautiful for a night wedding.
Great intimate place for a party or reception. Staff is excellent and the venue welcomes a lot of design potential. The ceilings are pretty low, but acoustics are great!
