Top Dog parks in College Park, United States

As the most frequent park user, I have noticed that the dogs do not like the concrete obstructions.

Please REMOVE the CONCRETE. OUR DOGS DESERVE BETTER!!

Then we can install some HIGH-QUALITY, DOG-FRIENDLY agility stations.

Excellent dog park! Not very large but has good mix of shaded areas, concrete play structures & benches. Also 2 separate areas for large & small dogs. Tucked away inside a quiet calm neighborhood. Relatively clean- visitors clean up after themselves & fresh water source on site. Friendly dogs & people!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hollywood Dog Park, located just outside of DC in College Park, Maryland, and I must say it was hands down the best dog park I've experienced in the entire area. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I had found a gem among dog-friendly places.

First and foremost, one of the most appealing aspects of Hollywood Dog Park is that it doesn't require any entry fees. Unlike some other parks that make you pay for access, Hollywood Dog Park welcomes both locals and visitors with open arms, making it a truly inclusive and accessible spot for all dog owners and their beloved companions.

As soon as I entered the park, I was greeted by a beautiful array of trees providing ample shade, which was a true blessing on a hot day. It was evident that careful thought had been put into the park's design, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both dogs and their owners, regardless of the weather.

Speaking of comfort, I was delighted to find that the park was equipped with water stations for both dogs and pups. Staying hydrated is essential, especially during playtime, and having readily available water helped ensure that all the dogs remained happy, healthy, and energized throughout their time at the park.

Another highlight of Hollywood Dog Park was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the people visiting the park. Dog owners seemed to share a common bond, and it was heartwarming to witness the joy and laughter as dogs of all shapes and sizes frolicked together. Very nice Park and very convenient for me. I guess you have the normal things happen like rowdy dogs and unattentive owners but ninety nine out of a hundred no troubles or injuries.

Great location. Owners consistently keep it poo-free.
Plenty of space to frolick, and a water fountain! That’s a big plus.

As Alex said there have been a few over aggressive behavior in some of the dogs I have seen that with my Owe eyes. Some dogs just don't play well with others. But over all it's a nice place to take your dog. Just watch him/her.

This park is fun, and I enjoyed taking my dog there. However, I was confused when I got there, and there were a bunch of little dogs in the big dogs' section and vice versa. Also, I didn’t like when dog owners just free their dogs there and are busy with their phones without watching them. It can be better.

So far after the first few months the park is maintained very well. Even after a rain it is fine to bring the pup without worry of mud. The cement pipes are great for the dogs to play with.
