One of the best dog parks I’ve ever been to. Clean, open, beautiful views!

What a great place. It's the largest dog park I've ever seen. It has three separate fields for healthy distance between dogs of different aptitudes/sizes. There seems to also be warm relationships between frequent visitors. My dog and I had a great time.

Probably the best dog park in the neighborhood. The park is divided into three zones with only one zone active during our visit. It's great to see that the size of the park allows dogs to run freely without restriction and without disturbing each other. The walkways to the park are nicely designed, the wide sidewalk and trash cans make this park very convenient. I would add benches there to make it comfortable to just sit outside the fence of the dog park.

Not all that great. Parking was easy enough. Pretty good sized park for the puppers to run around. And they do provide poo bags. That's where the pros end. The water fountain is trash. If you're gonna be there a while, I'd recommend bringing water. Barely any shade. People apprently either dont know that they should pick up after their dogs. Or they simply dont care. So watch your step. Also, there are no bathrooms in the dog park area.

I have Labs they enjoy running, and there’s plenty of room to do so. They also love swimming in the giant mud puddle, which then causes other dogs to notice it and swim in it. I’m prepared with towels, because mud puddles is our life. There’s a drinking fountain that pours into a bowl for dogs to drink from, the water is really really really hot in the summer so be careful to test it before you let your dog drink from it. The tables are great but there’s really no shade. Parking is plentiful, but it’s a tight left turn to get into the parking area in a truck, just be aware to pull far right to make the left into the parking lot if you dive a larger vehicle. The large dog side has a play house thing, my dogs don’t like it, but it’s nice and very solid. The small dog area has some agility/ play fixtures as well. Overall its really nice, and secure, the dogs don’t escape. Everyone i’ve run across is friendly, and we’ve personally not had any issues with aggressive dogs when we’ve been.

The park is not maintained at all. The pond is blocked off by a gate you have to walk around to get to the one access point. This park made me feel like I was going to get robbed. DO NOT RECOMMEND

It is a very spacious park, with an area for small dogs and one for medium to large dogs. I don't feel really safe there, no lightning and kind of closed off especially if there is no other people there. it is located past Knox park. There is a big mud hole that needs to be filled in and some dirt areas that could use some grass, so I would not suggest going after a rain. It does have a water station, poop bag clean up station and a play house area. They have picnic tables and several benches, which is nice. I've only had one incident where my dog was jumped by another dog and the owner didn't do anything, even though the dog had a shock collar on.

Lots of poop that owners don't pick up, especially along the path to the dog park. Nice big fields! Water was at a faucet. The dog had a blast. Nice place to exercise your pup.
Nice, large, dog parks. There is one large side for small dogs and another separate large area for the large dogs. There are toys for the dogs to play on. Also has a water fountain with water bowls nearby. Lots of room to run.

Love this park. There are plenty of ways to play with the kids, enjoy nature, and let the dogs play.

A neat little fenced in dog park separated into two pens. The areas themselves are large enough but could have been separated further for occasions where there are several large dogs and they need to be kept apart. Watch out some people have their dog off leash before even entering the fenced area.

Three separate dog parks here. Water is available from a fountain outside the enclosures. There's tons of running around space, including tall grass areas in two of the parks. The only downside is limited shade.
Medium sized dog park with ample space in adjacent paved parking lot. Two Double gated entry spots, one for medium to large dogs and one for small dogs. The park is mostly on a hillside facing sw. Nice sunny prk with multiple mature trees, plastic and wood benches and picnic tables. Bag and small trash station located in each sectioned area. The bonus on this park is the dog playground! Located on a concrete slab in the middle of the large dog park it is a treat for any dog who likes to act like a kid or be up high.
The park appears well maintained, grass covers most area and is cut short. There is a small muddy puddle in the big dog area which is not roped off. Some areas of the hill are slightly eroded from weather and foot trafgic. These areas are clay and can get muddy at times. Fence in good condition and no holes/gaps were noticed. Fellow dog owners seemed nice and courteous about picking up after their dogs. The dogs here seem nice as well but some other owners did mention some issues with other people on occasion.

An excellent dog park with a good amount of fenced open space for large dogs to run and play. A good sized fenced area for small dogs too. Bathrooms are nearby for people; bring your own water in winter. Most folks are good about picking up after their dogs and it’s on a hillside so even when it’s muddy it dries out fairly quickly.

I took my two dogs to this dog park and they had a blast. The dogs and people there were all extremely friendly. The only things that kept me from giving 5 stars is that people don’t seem to pick up after their dogs and there was poop everywhere and the grass really needs to be cut. Otherwise, we had a great time and plan to return often.

Someone should put some signs up to let folks know not to drop their dogs leash and let the dogs chase and terrorize the little family of ducks that lives in the pond.
It might be fun for the dogs but the ducks .. not so much.
That area is their home and everyone should respect that.
Also put your trash in the trash can.. no need for someone's colostomy bag laying on the ground.
It's unhealthy for everyone and someone's gonna have to pick it up.

All dogs and people seem to be well behaved every time I have came to this part my only complaint is the few people who allow their dogs to walk out of the park with no leash

3 huge parks with tons of enrichment. Lenny had a blast! Will definitely make it a weekly visit weather permitting. Clean bathrooms at the nearby playground and trails in the woods too.

I was at the dog portion of the park and the reason for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because of the lack of water spigots. It's a great park and the people and dogs we have met have been great just make sure to bring some water!

Great place to bring the puppies. Keep in mind that they will get red clay on them on rainy days, and bring water with you as the isn't a water source besides the pond.

This park is a working process.... however I was happy and surprised to see the pictures of the firefighters in Athens Tn. This is a old photo and the younger gentleman and the end of front row is my late grandfather...... Wilburn Tillman McDonald aka Hoot.
