Just press enter and push the handle down, no code needed. It's nice and shady, but I can't imagine actually paying for access to this place with how overgrown the grass is. I'll be checking for ticks later.
Not everyone has access to the dog area and people are not really friendly when you ask information about it

It's normally a great park but the grass hasent been mowed in a long time.

Wow what an awesome dog park! You need to register with the city online to get a code and dog tag (takes 1-2 wks). Then you’ll get a code to one of the areas. My beagle loves the real grass and trees, so much to sniff and explore off leash.

The park is really small, nice, but small. Water isn't working. A lot of dogs around 5pm
Great park! Not many dogs the times I've been, maybe 4? The field can be muddy because it's actual grass, and you may want to bring water because it doesn't have a dog water fountain. It has 3 separate areas for regular dogs, small dogs, old dogs... my dog loves this park!
Small dog park located in the city which is convenient for when I'm passing through the city. My dog is super picky about where he goes and there's usually no one there.

I used to drive past it so many times, and I thought it was just a fence. Would be cool if they could paint it colorful to attract more dog owners and life to the city.

Wonderful place to bring your fur-baby! My pup loves it here along with nice and spacious walking paths!
Not sure why this park ranks so highly on dog parks. I much prefer to go to Latrobe. Even though this park is bigger and has a small vs large side, it is not well cared for. One of the fences has such a large gap in it that my smaller dog could jump right out of it.

I just Love this place, it's spectacular, our family Dog named Oreo can't get enough of her new found atmosphere, and the lovely new doggy friends she ran into on that day. She will be going back there on a regular basis from now on. What a great family park.

I can’t understand why this is so difficult. Please make it painfully obvious that this is a membership only dog park. Some people aren’t from the area and are just looking for a nice dog park. The first thing that it should say on your website is that it is a membership only dog park. It’s not hard. This was a complete waste of time.

The dog owners don't follow the POSTED RULES.
I have a white rednose pitbull who is resource protective i.e. food, toys, treats, etc.
I ALWAYS take my dog around the fence so he can smell and greet the other dogs before being let loose in the park and scope out to see if any toys are left on the ground and if there are I kindly ask other pet owners to pick them up and put them away and they usually oblige my requests.
However the past 3 times I went there I had to repeatedly remind a few owners not to throw balls or anything that makes one dog feel like he is getting individual attention.
This woman told me that those rules printed literally on every entrance were not accurate and are more like "guidelines."
So I feel no remorse that her dog got hurt.
The rules are in place to make sure both pets and their owners are safe and have a good time.
If you follow the rules, it is an amazing place with lovely and loving doggies with amazing owners who are sharing, and caring.
Please follow the rules that were put in place by people that know better than you how dogs think and act.

The dog park is a fantastic spot for dogs and their owners. It offers a wide, well-maintained area with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and socialize. The park is clean, with amenities like water stations and waste disposal bins conveniently placed. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making this park a safe and enjoyable place for our furry friends. Highly recommended for a fun and relaxing day out with your dog!
Since living in Balt for about 10 years, latrobes dog park is a solid 7 out of 10. The tree trunk in the middle is cool to look at and the turf is nice so there's no brown spots but that old watering pipe could use a small fountain. Maybe a doggy control step to get water, or just a more permanent pool style for the summer.
The kiddie pool was such a good idea except high winds days I've seen it shake. Overall, if you like socializing with lots of dog parents, stop by you'll have fun. (Very few bad interactions among dogs also, owners are actually ingaged)
If you are out searching for a dog park with your little dog, beware of Paw Point. There is no signage for the location of the dog park, and you need a membership. Mainly big dogs running around, there are no real organic features to the park for dogs to play on. The park it is in is pretty, but the parking is a distance from the park entrance.

One of the best play parks for your dog; plenty of shade and a water fountain (and pool) for hot days, hills with turf and rocks and a tree trunk, along with benches in shady areas.

I love Patterson Park. I grew up in that park. I spent most of my days playing around in that park. I played with my sisters, friends and my 2 sons. I love the swings. I miss being near it... I live in Dundalk now & there's no Patterson Park here 🤣

Nice, fenced dog park with lots of things to keep the dogs entertained. If you're used to suburban dog parks, this one has a surprising amount of concrete relative to turf. The manufactured hill in the middle is fun for the dogs, but makes it hard for the humans to keep an eye on the dogs and see what they're eating, if they've pooped, etc. There's access to a water spigot, which is nice. The park has a little drainage area for excess water, but it can get kinda grody, so make sure your dog has their lepto shot.
Awesome dog park. Contoured with faux hills, this park offers separate gated sections for large and small pups. Upon entering, you'll find dog toys and other supplies neatly displayed for the taking. There's a water source and in the summer a few plastic pools you can fill. Lots of nice benches so seeing the perimeter. It's clean, a real gem!
I personally don't own a dog but a friend does and I must say for a dog park it was very nice and I mean very clean and everybody was respectful and the fur babies got along very well and did I mention how CLEAN IT WAS ...IF YOU HAVE A DOG PAY A VISIT

Love all the seating and toy chests for the dogs. Everyone here loves it so they take care of cleaning up the spot. I come here every other Sunday for my pug to meet his pug friends for the pug gatherings

Patterson Park is by far one of the biggest parks I've ever been too... especially considering that the location is smack dab in the eastern side of downtown Baltimore City. Offers a wide variety of different occasions and everyday activities and or events.. I've lived nearby for the past 5 years and am still discovering new things available. {Public pool, ice rink, tennis & basketball 🏀 courts, playgrounds and so on}
If you're ever in the area stop by and take a stroll... You won't be disappointed! 🌃🏞️🌤️🌥️🧗‍♂️🎋🌳🌲🐿️🏞️

This park has just enough space for dogs to run around. Generally clean. Friendly pet owners. I felt like my dog was safe with the size separation and two-gate system.

Great dog park with small dog and large dog areas. Well maintained, water spouts, spacious and well shaded in the Summer/ Fall.
This dog park is a blessing in this city! My pup loves being able to run around and play with other dogs. 99% of dog owners pick up after their dogs & are friendly.

-1 star because:

The water fountains break often, so it’s smart to bring some water for your pup just in case.

Beware of careless dog owners who bring treats & dog toys into the park.

Most dogs are socialized but I have ran into an aggressive dog who put its mouth around my dogs head - the owner was holding it by the color right near the entrance & I didn’t realize that was because the dog was potentially a threat to the other pups.
Our dogs always have fun here. Well worth the annual membership. It's a huge space for dogs to to run and swim.
We haven't had a chance to join the park itself to go inside the dog park pend areas. But we've always had a good time going to the main greenery sections surrounding the official dog Park section. We're so lucky to have such a nice place to go with our dogs for exercise and fresh air. Often we meet the neatest people. I don't think word is out quite yet about what a gem this little Park is or perhaps we've been going at non peak times.. but it's rare that we see more than two or four people the entire time we're at the park. And maybe three dogs. Which is okay but it would be nice if there were more social opportunities for our dogs. I'm so glad that people put the effort they did into building this park and making it so pleasant. That's all do our part and keep it well maintained and respected as good neighbors should do.

This is the best dog park I have been to. It's large, well-maintained, and the surrounding nature scenery is beautiful. You have to sign up to be a member, but it's worth it. It has fenced-in lake access for your dog to swim.
Wonderful fun place to come and take A nice Quiet walk You are always finding new animals & plants to look at and plenty of places t explore

The dogs like the park, and the agility structures were actually interesting to one dog that doesn't like toys. But the fence is only about 4 feet high, and my other dog was halfway over it trying to greet two other dogs who were walking by, before I could grab him. Be careful if you have a big, athletic dog that likes to jump and climb fences!
The set up is nice but it requires registration and a pin number in order for the dogs to use the equipment/space. Odd to me but okay, I'm sure my dog will enjoy it when we can get the registration tags.

Very small and actually belongs to the apartment complex. Realized at the end that there is a sign for residents only. They do have agility structures, so bring treats. No other dogs there on Sunday early afternoon.

My first time there with my 6 month old puppy and we had a blast. He was so happy. There were about 20 dogs there in a late Wednesday evening. All the dogs were friendly and got a long great. I would definitely take my dog there again.

My dog and I love this dog park! It’s located in the great neighborhood of canton. We use to live two blocks up the street and we walked there just about everyday. Even after relocating, I still drove my dog Chino to this park. Both the dogs and people are friendly! I would recommend going whenever it’s not raining to avoid your dog getting really dirty. People always donate grocery bags for waste pickup, in case you run out of doggy bags. Lastly they have two sides that separate big dogs from small, which is greatly appreciated!

I also made a video of a casual walk to the park with my dog Chino. We stayed to play for a while since it was a warm and sunny day. I also made a video of our day at the Canton Dog Park. If you would like to see what the park is like, watch my experience and review video on YouTube!

Probably the cleanest dog park in the city. The only downside is that the hill in the middle is so tall it's hard to monitor your dog on the other side of the park without following them around.

Very disappointed! Members only and need a code to get in! This fact isn’t advertised anywhere except after the half mile walk from your car to the dog park gate. And if you think you’ll just play with your dog outside of the park, leash laws are strictly enforced. Not really a welcoming place for a dog and her ball. This place needs to be advertised as a private dog park because that’s what it is.

This is a long and narrow dog park in downtown. It has two entrances, the ground is sandy with some greenery around the perimeter, does have a poop bag and disposal station. No water station so bring your own.
There is parking along the streets and you will need to cross a road to get to it if you park your car. There was no other dog there when I went but it was also drizzling. Overall not bad and dogs enjoyed it. I prefer larger and grassier dog parks but it'll do. I was just visiting the city and this was convenient enough to visit.

I didn't like it but my dog did. Holes at bottom of parts of the fence so be careful. They say to keep your dog on a leash but that defeats the purpose of a dog park. There was poop everywhere and the patchy grass was pointless. They should redo with turf because the sand or whatever you want to call it gets muddy. And on top of everything it's smack dab in the middle of a busy road. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Keep an eye on your pups here, so they don't drink the still water in the holes that are around. Someone really needs to fill those in. Otherwise it's a lovely park, filled with friendly dogs and people.

This park is a weird little strip in a median, but it's one of the only parks around with actual grass and dirt. My pup hates the fake grass. I've never actually seen another dog here though, so it's like our own little place!

It's not as spacious as the Lake Roland dog park (which requires membership and a yearly registration fee), but it's so great to have a place nearby for our dog to interact off leash with other dogs! Best time to go for good action is right around 5:00 p.m.

Great long park. Love the dirt and length of the park, but I hate that it's sandwiched by roads (luckily they aren't too busy) and when it rains, the dirt gets awfully muddy in the middle of the park so be mindful. Otherwise the dog parents that come see very nice & social. most dogs get along and if they don't, parents are very attentive. It's a great length for your dog to do laps and to really stretch their legs.
For the amount of doggos I see downtown, this park is a terrible. There's more grass tufts around parking meters than here. Quite a few parks with quite a bit of grass, one on E Fayette that doesn't have no dog signs. One thing this park has is double walk through gates. Just need to hope the gates at the other end are locked. I still wouldn't let my furbaby off his leash here though.

It's a good muddy romp on wet days, and a mostly grassless option on dry days. Water fountains are available and there are two distinct yard for small and large dogs.

My dog's favorite weekend spot! He loves the company, the swimming and the playing! It's a very clean location. Water and doggie bags included... Just wish everyone would be courteous enough to clean up after their own dog instead of me having to do it for them so I can play Frisbee without having to worry about it landing in a pile. Wish the swim area was a tad bit bigger and a little more sloped like a boat dock instead of the rocks, which my dog finds uncomfortable to walk on and navigate.

My pups had loads of fun here. Separate areas for large and small dogs, water fountain, all sand, some trees and chairs for owners and plenty of parking.
Great place, friendly and considerate people, fantastic dogs. It’s well kept and has swimming available for the dogs. Nothing but good boys, all the good boys.
Great dog park, with separate places for small dogs and big. Nice water fountain access and the people there are always very friendly. A wonderful community resource.

Worst dog park ever! No grass and poop everywhere. Surprised at the dog owners that don’t clean up after their pets. Shame!
I went to this park for the first time today and it was wonderful they had water there and running for the dogs the visitors were all so friendly and almost all the dogs were perfectly behaved and it was BUSY - it was very clean and safe!
