Private Dog Park. Wish I had read reviews before heading there from Hanna Park. You need a card issued from Atlantic Beach to swipe in. More "Beaches Snobbery" if you ask this guy who lives over the ditch. Come visit our many dog parks in Jax. No access card required.

There is plenty of room for the dogs to run around a nice sized lake with bushes, trees and a nice rubbery kind of track that is gentle on the dogs paws. There is also a faucet and hose area, as well as multiple tennis balls available. It is a one-time nominal fee, and a card is issued to be used every time you go, not like other parks where you pay each time you go. The people and dogs are friendly, and all the dogs get along well. Benches available to sit in the shade or sun.

Private dog park, you can’t enter unless you pay for a membership. Drove 30 minutes for nothing. It does look really nice from the outside

If you’re like me and just showed up to the “Dog Beach near you”, then don’t forget to stop by the Atlantic Beach City Hall to get a pass for the gate. For the year, it’s a ballpark of $45 and you will need shot/medical records.

They are not pet friendly. We were turned away from the gate when they saw our dogs. We even have a support animal who is wearing her vest with all the proper paperwork. Yet we were not allowed in.

Great spot. My dog loved it.
I would give it 5 stars but this is not a public park. You have to get a pass from the city that costs about $50/year. I didn't see that mentioned anywhere when I looked this place up and found it on Google Maps. So don't pull up thinking you can just walk in.
There's not a lot of open running room as the park is mostly a cushioned track around the pond. There are a few benches around the track but most seating is in the playground area.
But there were plenty of tennis balls to be found and thrown and it was very clean.

This is my first time taking my baby to a dog park. He had a blast. Not only did he make new friends he also got real muddy and dirty, but that's okay. Before you leave the park you can rinse out your babies with the hose. I wish there was more grass, but he was able to swim and get dirty. I will definitely bring him back here again when I come up from NC.
